PLEASE, Please take notice of the 41% one star reviews on Trust Pilot before ordering! I wish I had noticed this before spending a great deal of money on a case of wine for a friends birthday. If I could give a negative star rating for service and delivery, I would. My birthday gift of a case of wine arrived damaged with broken bottle that damaged the labels of other bottles and cut the hand of the gift recipient. I called and I emailed Wine Insiders immediately. After multiple attempts to get someone on the phone, I did talk to a customer service rep. I was offered $25 online credit for a future order initially and then, after "speaking with management," they added another $20. Why do they think I would ever order from them again with the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time? I know they have insurance on these Fedex deliveries. I sent 3 photos showing the broken bottle and the damaged box. This was a gift! I asked them to redeliver the case of wine and asked if they can have Fedex pick up the damaged box with remaining bottles. They refused and/but stated they would be using my photos to address Fedex, and more than likely they will be getting a refund from Fedex themselves. DO NOT order from this company.
Recommendation: Save your money! Check many websites for reviews before ordering
It appears that Wine Insiders's negligence has caused reasonably or customer-centric ways to rectify the damage to your gift to go out the window. The amount of compensation suggested is inadequate especially due to the shattered bottle and the damage it caused. Considering that they asked FedEx to take the responsibility and refused to make arrangements for a return or replacement, you have legitimate reason to be annoyed. Such a move might make sense, since this has the potential of pushing the company representatives to review their stand on the issue. Even more so since it does seem in discrepancies of the normal course of business of a decent organization.
