Wix Took down a paid website

They took down my website. My website subscription always renewed in August. I'm good until August. They proceeded to charge my credit card for a monthly fee in April. I always paid for my subscription in full for the year in August.

I had my credit card company stop the charges from wix because I was unsure of these unauthorized charges. I was never never ever contacted by wix for

any of these charges. Wix then proceeded to take down my website for nonpayment. But, I was paid up until AUGUST.

April 20th. I have no way of contacting Wix. They have no phone number to contact and the contact form they say is operating 24/7 never contacted me.

I sent several inquiries to Wix and NOBODY ever has contacted me.

I'm gonna seek legal remedies for this scam.

Desired outcome: Website back up plus compensation for lost business from a paid in full website until August. I can prove my subscription has been paid in August from credit card statements.

Wix Wix website, charging, no customer service, billing, impossible to contact

I stopped using WIx years ago, yet that has not stopped them from billing me.

I was charged legitimately in 2019. I did use the website then. However they kept chaning the way I could use it and edit it. This was with no help to figure it out again and again. I stopped using it. IN 2021 it slipped by me that they auto billed me. Then in 2023 in January they auto billed me causing charges beyond hte orignal $264. I tried to call them; however the number was no longer available. I nofiied my credit card company, They refunde dmy money and then WIX mailed them some notifications and I had to awit to see what wix said. Then I tried to contact WIX again. IMpossible. They said you could get a call back but it only cycles you bak to contct us and then when I r=tried to find ways to get a chat ast leat, it was cycled back again over and over. I have been trying to contact wix since January when I noticed my bill from them. I tried numerous times. I am trying and trying to contact a real person to help me. I am trying and trying to contact a real person to help me. Not an AI please. I need help in cancelling my account. They charged me in 2021 and 2023 and I have not used this account in years. I did pay in 2019 and used it for a time. That was the only legitimate chare. I was charged in 2021 and was not aware. But recently in Jan 2023 I was charged $264 again and wanted that refunded immediately. I needed to talk to an agent. I needed my invoice refunded now. Tell me how to get this accomplished. Why should I pay for something I can not use nor get real customer support for which is why I have not used the site for years so I need my my money now. All that happened when I wrote on the site as told to was to be recycled back to the first menu.

Wix Website was cancel yet they refused to refund my $384

I did not want to continue a second year with Wix as their website I did not like for my company products. Was charged 2 weeks before the beginning of my new subscription(on March 15th, 2023) and immediately contacted Wix that I did not want their product for another year, but was given the run around by them. I contacted Paypal to get my money back and they lied to them about providing me this service. So I have no website and Wix kept my $384...this is fraud and theft! Customers beware going to Wix for a website for your business, poor customer service and they will not refund your money.

Wix Wix.com Website builder

I have had a debit card payment taken from my bank account on 5th April 23 for £107.80. I queried this with my bank as I have never signed up for this software. My bank said that the same payment was taken on 22nd April 22 which I didn't not pick up on at the time. Trying to get in touch with Wix. com has proved impossible as the web site gives no contact details. I tried to sign in on their web site with both mine and my husbands e mail address with no result , proving that I do not have an account .

The bank has blocked any further payments but I am out of pocket by more than £200. The bank as said that they would treat a fraud but I need evidence.

Desired outcome: Please refund and cancel any contact with my bank account.

Wix Unlocking of domain

I have trying for days now to move my domain azzaworldwide.com to my new hosting company. Please note that the 60-day period ended on 26 March 2023!

You will see-in the attached message that I have contacted the Wix support dept. on 26 March 2023 and that Wix then indicated that I must try again the next day.

The e-mail received from Wix on 26 March clearly state “As shown in your screenshot, your domain will be available to transfer on March 26. I would suggest you wait 24 hours extra, and try to transfer your domain on the 27th. If by 03/27 you're still not able to transfer your domain away, please contact us back”.

See a copy of the mail attached.

When I tried to transfer the domain on the 27 March 2023 as advised by Wix in the attached message, it indicated that the domain is now locked until 27 May 2023.

Please also see 2x screenshots attached.

I have not updated any Registrant contact details. Only the contact details of the Technical and Administrative person had been updated.

Support from the Wix Support Dept. is shocking to say the least!

I have been trying for days now to get this issue resolved!

Wix Restricted website after purchasing premium site from wix

For weeks I have been working late hours developing my company website on the Wix platform. My grand opening took place several weeks ago, and we successfully published our site on Monday, the 13th. After contacting customer service about the issue, we received the below message from Wix. It has been nearly five days, and Wix has not restored our site. We reluctantly sent the personal information requested for verification, and our small business site is still down, and there has been no response from Wix. The Wix verification team will not speak to consumers and are online only coorespondance. This site while easy to navigate the creation of a website, has a horrible costumer service experience.

Wix I purchased the wix complete retail pos…

I purchased the WIX Complete Retail POS for $$$ and never used it because too hard to integrate different Vendors into the WIX platform. Per WIX, you for reaching out to Wix Support Support. They reply, I see that you are reaching out to us about either returning your selling back your POS hardware. Unfortunately, we don't offer a buyback option for any POS hardware. However, you may sell it to 3rd party. We do offer a 30-day money-back return policy.

So, I have a WIX Retail POS system I can't do anything with and it's brand NEW.

And, WIX Support Team can tell that the POS system wasn't really used through their system.

Very upset Customer - FYI If you buying and selling products THIS WIX SITE ISN'T FOR YOU! PLEASE BE AWARE AND YOUR STUFF WITH EQUIPMENT THAT YOU CANT USE ANYWHERE

And This is their response Thank you again for the quick reply. I was able to review your order, and it appears you purchased the hardware back on 02/18/2022. Unfortunately, that is well outside our 30-day return policy for us to be able to accept it back. We are sorry for the situation this may put you in. SMH

Wix Wix

Our website stopped integrating Paypal and regardless of what we do it will not reconnect. Wix told us they were looking into it 2 weeks ago and it was a widespread problem and they were trying to resolve it. No solution 2 weeks later, cannot get in touch with customer care. Not receiving phone calls back. Loosing business because of this and we're very unhappy.

Desired outcome: We want to be able to take payments for our hotels via paypal.

Wix Money stolen from the bank account without authorization, wix refused to refund.

Wix Need ownership of our website

It has been months since we have been trying to get admin privileges of www.giftedgabber.com; which has been hosted and developed on WIX.com. The website was originally built by a WIX Partner - Internet Design Wizard - who is not reachable now, either by email, or phone. We have provided numerous detailed documents to prove ownership of the website, including entity documentation, invoice and bill payment proof etc to WIX.com. However, we still do not have full control over our website. WIX.com does not even allow us to copy the site information to a new place and re-point our domain.. without this full control we are suffering revenue loss and our reputation is taking a beating, since we are not effectively able to serve our customer needs.

Desired outcome: Need admin rights to the website

Wix Will not give access to your account

It has been weeks since our agency has been trying to gain access to our site, www.etchcoffee.com. Our previous employee set the account up. He has not worked for us in 2 years. We provided documentation to show the account is registered to us (capabilities, inc, dba Elmira Tea and Coffee House) We even reached out the the ex employee and he also has been in contact with wix and requested that they transfer the information to capabilities (using the email address of [edited]) We are still not able to log into our website. This is a nonprofit agency and we need access to our website so we can change information on our site.

Wix Two subscriptions I purchased and then cancelled within the 14 trial period.

I purchased a domain in April, didnt find a domain that was common on the market place so i purchased the premium plan so were up to 200.00 now. I had my own web site already built and paid for all i wanted was to get it put on our google listing. It never got listed anywhere as a matter of fact its been 4 months of not one single call to my company, come to find out wix completely removed me from google, I just got my first call in four months two days ago. I had to talk to goolge for over an hour to fix what wix did. I cancelled these subscriptions well within the "NO QUESTIONS ASKED" time period and then have been rude to me and refuse to give me my money back. Now I have to get my attorney involved in it. They lie and steal your money then dont help you then try to get every consulting company KNOWN TO MAN WITH THERE HAND OUT TRYING TO "HELP" YOU FOR OF COURSE MORE MONEY. A SCAM. DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Desired outcome: WANT MY MONEY BACK BEEN asking for four months now

Wix Wix Advertising on Facebook and Instagram

I was one of the last people to enrol on the Government Enterprise Allowance Scheme which you receive £66 a week to help with your new business.

I took out a advertising plan with wix at a cost of £138 per month plus £24 for the website. I'm in my 4th month and had no sales whatsoever from my site.

I've spoke to Wix 3 or 4 times now and they suggest for me to alter or change my settings on my advertising site, age, area etc, which I have done, but I thought Wix were going to use their A.I. algorithm to adjust my site settings each month. Only time things have changed is when I've phoned to complain and they suggest something.

Looks like all the money I've spent on the Wix advertising was a waste.

Wix payout issue

i created an online website to make my hobby into a buisness, as a mother of 4 i was helping out with the difficult times. So i had my first ever online payment dated 21st april, i set up my banking details and all was authroised, upon this i was told on my desktop I would receive my payment on 3rd may.

we are now on 10th may, ive spoken to mutilple people via online chat names are

to all which are feeding me nothing but lies about my missing payment. saying they need a bank letter which the bank do no such thing, but my screeshot are not enough to prove my payment isnt pending. ive had my bank account for 15years and my bank do not stop any funds entering my account. i have also stated i have no eletricity on my metres, the suppliers have cut me off i have no other funds or people to help me

seem like the people who run wix.com are scammers ill be contacting trading standards

Desired outcome: i would like what im owed so thats £34.06 and i would like all the £19 monthly payments ive made to keep my account active for online payouts when i dont receive them

Wix Payment technical issue

Wix have put my payments on hold for over ten days now. Firstly they said they needed to verify our details - again - even though we'd been accepting payments for over two years.

We jumped through all the hoops, rang nearly every day then were told it was a technical error at their end. That was a week ago.

We've got a reference number, been told it's been escalated but still no resolution or time given.

We're contacting them daily as our money is still with them. We need this money to run our business. I can only speak to the customer service as they say anyone higher doesn't take phone calls.

Today, I've taken the booking system off-line as I don't want any further money going to them to take fees from but not pay out to us. I'm also concerned a Fraud is taking place.

They charge excessive fees for a small business to cope with, take ages to process and pay out and I've wanted to change for a long time so I guess this will now force me to find another provider.

Desired outcome: I want our money to be paid out immediately and the processing fees returned with compensation for the time taken.

Wix My personal website

I would like to know who I can speak to regarding my website being taken down-

It was not Wix's website anymore, I had to pay to end the agreement with Wix

Yet I do not understand how Wix had any control over my new website it has been deleted by Wix?

Please send me information as to who I can talk to

I have lost a lot of money over this-

Wix Wix-web site

Impossible to talk to anyone in terms of service you are on your own. Period. I have had very upsetting and frustrating log in issues. My site has been hacked/violated/changed... It is like poltergeist are on my site images type design items move around images appear that I never placed. To the point it looks like a 2nd grader set-up the site. And they lie or at least to me about the number of visits to my site I feel so violated. I have spent countless hours on my site.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and the truthand my privacy.and security.I do not TRUST THEM!!!

Wix Wix Payouts

I have provided all of the details wix have requested and am still told they are investigating. It has been over a month of investigations from them even though I have been with them since 2019 and have had customer orders go through without any issues.

I think wix are stealing my money and cannot afford to pay me. The only response I get from them is to contact them to investigate further which as I now know is just another delay tactic.

Desired outcome: Payouts released!
