Wizard101 Disappointing Play-to-Win Model and Dwindling Player Base: A Review of Wizard101

I've been playing Wizard101 for a little while now, and I have to say, I'm not too impressed. First off, they charge for membership even though the player base seems to be dwindling. It's a shame because I've gotten to know everyone in the game, but it seems like most of them are just NPCs or moderators.

Another thing that bothers me is the play-to-win items in their store. It's really hard to get these items because you have to buy packs, and there's only a 75% chance of getting the rare items. I've spent a lot of money trying to get the gear I want, but it seems like a waste when there aren't many players left to show it off to.

When I first started playing, the max level was 50, and the player base was high enough that you could do 4v4 player vs player battles. Now the max level is 150, but the game seems to have started dying off around level 90. There are only 1v1s in ranked matches because there aren't enough players left to support anything else.

It's frustrating because it seems like NPCs and moderators are running the game now, and it's hard to tell if there's even a real player base left. It's a play-to-win game, and you have to pay for membership, which just doesn't seem worth it when there are probably less than 500 players left, maybe even less than 100.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Wizard101 to anyone looking for a fun and engaging online game. The play-to-win model and dwindling player base just make it feel like a waste of time and money.

Wizard101 Wizard101: A Challenging and Morbidly Entertaining Game with a Great Storyline

This game, Wizard101, is a real gem. The storyline is amazing, and it keeps you hooked from the very beginning. The graphics may seem childish at first glance, but if you pay attention to the story, you will realize that it is quite morbid. I don't think this game is just for kids, especially with the high complexity of the higher worlds. It's a strategy game, and you have to bend to what is given to you. It can be challenging, and that's the point. If you get past the first story arc (Dragonspyre), you will see that very few kids play the game, and it is mostly 16+ that play it.

I have been playing this game since it came out in 2008, and I started when I was 10 years old. I have seen them develop, and although there were some things I was not happy about in terms of equal treatment between the schools (Myth is always getting the short end of the stick), I am very happy and content playing this game. Almost every single MMORPG is pay to play, and I'm not sure what or why people thought this game would be different. If you wait until they have their special every couple of months, the membership drops to $5 a month ($60 for a year), which is by far one of the best prices found anywhere.

It's sister game, Pirate101, is also very good if people would give it a chance. Check it out, too! I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves a good storyline and a challenging game. The graphics may seem childish, but the gameplay is anything but. The game is constantly updated, and there is always something new to discover. So, if you're looking for a game that will keep you entertained for hours on end, then Wizard101 is definitely worth checking out.

Wizard101 Wizard101 Review: Overpriced Subscription, Unethical Business Practices, and Outdated Gameplay

This game, Wizard101, is not worth the money. Firstly, they take more money from your account than authorized. They do this by charging small amounts, hoping that nobody will notice. It's a nice little racket they have going on, and there is no accountability in business. They don't even make the purchaser aware in advance. They use the banking system to their advantage, playing the numbers game in the hope that the majority of customers won't notice or care. If they were legit in any way, they would declare it.

Secondly, KingsIsle will actively watch in-game chats in real-time with the intent of banning accounts to the point of uselessness. For example, they will mute an account for ten years. This benefits the business by not having to ever upgrade servers, just reduce the member-base AFTER they've paid. Filtering and chat gestapo is outdated in this day and age. Kids have access to so many other platforms to chat through. The dystopian type filtering on this site only pushes its young users to other (more risky) platforms with which to communicate.

Overall, the game is outdated by today's standards. The graphics are pretty, but lacking for the subscription price. And it is only that, a subscription. Other items are only obtainable through further expense as you cannot achieve them in-game, even if you are a full paying member. Micro payments are anything but micro. I can buy entire games for my games console for the same money. Wizard101 needs to step up their game if they want to keep their customers.

Wizard101 Wizard101: The Real Deal - A Review of the Best Family Game

This game is so awesome! I gotta tell ya, there's a lot of haters out there who just don't get it. But let me tell you, Wizard101 is the real deal. Here's why:

First off, some people say it's not free and that the advertising is all wrong. But come on, people! If you actually pay attention to the commercial, it clearly says "Download your free trial and start playing today." It's right there in black and white. And yeah, it's a download game, not some lame browser game that's gonna crash every five minutes. So if you're gonna complain about it not being free, maybe you should learn to listen better.

Next up, there's some folks who say it's overpriced. But let me tell you, those people clearly haven't done their research. I've seen other games that charge way more than Wizard101, and they don't even have half the features! Some of those games charge upwards of $30 a month, or even $150 a year! And when you think about all the stuff you get with Wizard101, it's a total steal. The game is super complex, with tons of different worlds and areas to explore. And they're always adding new stuff! So if you think it's overpriced, you're just plain wrong.

Finally, there's some haters out there who say the customer service is bad. But let me tell you, that's just not true. I know someone who got hacked and had a bunch of crowns bought on their account. But when they reported it, they got a full refund of $563! And on top of that, they even got a free membership for six months! That's some seriously good customer service, if you ask me.

Overall, I think Wizard101 is an amazing game. It's perfect for families who want to play together, and they even offer a family deal! So if you're looking for a fun game that's gonna keep you entertained for hours on end, you should definitely check it out. Don't listen to the haters, they just don't know what they're missing!

Wizard101 Wizard101 Review: A Fun but Frustrating and Addictive Game with Inequality and Changing Rules

This game, Wizard101, is a real mixed bag. On one hand, it can be a lot of fun to play and explore the magical world. On the other hand, it can be incredibly frustrating and even addictive. The game is designed to create inequality among players, which means that if you want to keep up with others, you have to spend a lot of money and time. This can lead to mindless farming and a waste of one's life.

One of the biggest issues with the game is that the company changes the rules quite frequently. This means that the item you spent a lot of money and time to achieve may become useless, and you need to pay for another one. This can be incredibly frustrating and make people feel like they are constantly on their toes.

To keep people addicted and get their money, the game uses a lot of techniques. One of these is intermittent rewarding, which means that people keep doing mindless, repetitive, and costly tasks over and over again. To get the most desirable objects, you need to spend a lot of money on what is similar to a lottery or a slot machine. This can be hazardous and may addict people, especially children.

Another issue with the game is that it is designed to take up an immense amount of time, including daily chores. It also makes you use a special vocabulary that only players would understand. This can make people withdraw from real life and spend all their time playing the game.

The game used to have a wonderfully designed PVP system, which unfortunately was ruined. People have been complaining about it a lot, but the company's efforts did not help much. The game has become like a malevolent totalitarian dictatorship, and the only way out is to leave.

Overall, Wizard101 can be a fun game to play, but it has a lot of issues that make it frustrating and even addictive. If you're going to play, be careful not to get too caught up in the game and remember to use your time wisely.

Wizard101 Wizard101: A Money-Making Scheme Disguised as a Game - A Review

Yo, so I gotta say something about Wizard101. I used to play this game when I was a youngin', and let me tell you, I had no idea about money and how it can be wasted on things you don't need. I started playing this game back in 2013, and I was hooked for like 4-5 years. I loved it back then, even though the graphics were straight up trash, and you had to pay a ton of money just to play. Plus, you couldn't even talk to other players unless you lied about being 18 or older, and people would clown on you if you didn't have all the cool stuff you had to pay for.

This game straight up made me spend over $500 just to feel good about myself, and it's all just a money-making scheme. You can't even play the game unless you empty your wallet. I know some people might be like, "Why didn't you just play the game without buying anything?" But let me tell you, I wanted to play the game without spending any money, even when I was a kid. But if you want to unlock the second world, you gotta either buy a membership for $10 a month or buy it with in-game currency that you also have to buy.

I spent all the money I got on this game, and I know it's my own fault, but I'm just saying, it's not worth it. The game is addictive, I'll give it that, but only if you can play the full game. Looking back, I'm ashamed of how much money and time I put into this game. Unless you're rich or you want to spend every penny you have on it, don't waste your time. The concept and story are cool, but it's just not worth it.

Wizard101 Wizard101 Review: Great Game, But Customer Service Needs Improvement

Wizard101 is my jam! I've been playing it since I was a youngin' at 13 and I'm still going strong at 21. I've spent a ton of money on there over the years, but it's totally worth it. The only downside is that customer service can be a bit of a pain in the butt. Last year, I got banned for a couple of years because of a pay-by-mobile issue I was having when I was ordering crowns through my phone. At first, I had to pay like $30 back to the company, which was annoying but doable. But then, for some reason, the price kept going up and up until I had to pay back $50. That was a bit of a bummer, but I finally paid them back last year after being banned for a few years.

The problem was that even though I paid them back, I was still banned. I tried contacting customer service via email, but all I got were auto-responses saying that my account was unlocked because I had paid. But when I tried to log in, it still said I was banned. So I kept replying to the same email, but all I got were the same auto-responses. It was super frustrating! Eventually, I found out from the W101 forums that you have to keep replying to the same email until an actual person responds. Finally, after what felt like forever, I got through to a live person and they unbanned me. To make up for my troubles, they even gave me a week of free membership, which was pretty cool.

Despite the customer service issues, I'm still loyal to Wizard101. It's a great game and I love playing it. The only thing is that the worlds are getting harder and harder, and none of my friends are ever on anymore. It's not like it was back in 2009 when everyone was playing it! I'm not sure if I'll be spending any more money on it, but I'll definitely keep playing. Wizard101 is my go-to game and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Wizard101 Wizard101: A Game That Cares More About Money Than Its Players

I've been playing Wizard101 since it first came out, but I stopped playing it midway through this year. At first, the game was really fun, but over the years, it became clear that the company didn't care about the players or their opinions unless they were big spenders. They hardly ever listened to ideas and only cared about getting as much money as possible from players. If you don't spend a lot of money, your opinions don't matter.

Updates to the actual storyline were rare, but updates to dungeons that cost money, packs that rarely dropped good items, and other such items were more common. These updates often came with high price tags. Recently, they've been throwing out a lot of events that would cost nearly $300 to complete. This game is mainly for kids between the ages of 11-17, so that's a lot of money for a one-week event.

What really made me leave the game was this year's summer update. They didn't listen to any of the players' outcry and destroyed all the hard work of the players, some of whom have been playing for over a decade. The long grinding efforts were practically useless. Spells that were critical to those schools of choice were destroyed and rendered useless, and gear (crafted, bought, dropped) was rendered pointless. Kingsisle didn't even care when people were crying out and saying stop. Nobody asked for this update, very few liked it, and I am one of the many long-term players that hung up their wand and said enough.

I am done being ignored by a company that clearly doesn't care for its player base, throws bans around like candy, and only cares about money. While money is important, your player base's opinions should be just as important if not more.

Wizard101 Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Transparency in Wizard101

I've been playing Wizard101 for over 12 years now and have spent countless hours and money on memberships and crowns. However, I recently had a negative experience with their customer support. I missed out on a birthday promotion years ago and reached out to see if I could still receive the rewards since my account qualified for the mount at the time. Unfortunately, I was met with a rude response and was told that my account wasn't eligible in the first place, despite evidence to the contrary.

To make matters worse, the customer support team insinuated that I would break TOS over an item, which is ridiculous considering my long-standing loyalty to the game. It's disappointing to see such poor customer service from a company that I've supported for so long. It's no wonder that the game is struggling, with greedy and vindictive developers who ignore the community and provide subpar rewards.

One major issue that I've noticed is that they do not disclose gacha rates on packs, which may not even be legal. It's concerning that a company would hide such important information from their players.

Recently, Wizard101 was bought out by GAMINGO, which may be a positive change for the game. If the management changes and customer service improves, I may consider returning. But for now, I won't be spending any more time or money on the game. It's a shame to say goodbye after such a long time, but the negative experiences have outweighed the positive memories.

Wizard101 Wizard101: A Fun Game Ruined by a Blatant Paywall

I remember playing Wizard101 when I was just a kid, and I have to say, it was one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played. The game was all about collecting cards and using them to summon giant monsters to fight other players' monsters in an MMO format. It was so much fun! However, my recent experience with the game has been quite different.

I decided to try the game again after all these years, and I was excited to relive some old memories. I logged in with my old username and password, and the nostalgia hit me hard. I was eager to start questing, but that's when the problems started.

My account was a free-to-play account, which meant that I couldn't enter the areas Firecat Alley and Cyclops Lane. These areas contained many more quests and ways to unlock more areas in the game. However, when I was younger, I didn't mind this restriction. Now that I'm a bit older, I see how this sucks the fun out of the game once you reach level 10.

Eventually, you start getting quests that require you to go to one of the previously mentioned areas or require you to go to places that can only be unlocked after you complete certain missions in the previously mentioned areas. When you start seeing these quests, that's when the paywall becomes clearer.

The only quests that you are able to do are locked inside of these areas, and you are left with barely anything to do. You can't level up unless you want to go out into the unlocked areas and grind for hours upon hours just to fill up a portion of the EXP bar. Since you can't level up, you won't be able to get any fancy new cards to add to your deck. And since you can't get any fancy new cards to add to your deck, you can't play practice PVP (which is the only PVP you can play with a free account) because most people will be much higher than you equipment wise.

The last game I ever played before I deleted this game was against a player who had twice the amount of health I did, had cards that allowed him to set up defense and attack shields while I did garbage damage to him. He just kept playing these shield cards until he finally summoned the Grim Reaper, which activated all of the defense and attack shields, and attacked me for OVER 5000 DAMAGE. I couldn't believe that a company could make their game have such an annoying and blatantly obvious paywall.

In conclusion, this game is only fun to play if you decide to shell out money in order to keep your premium membership alive. This rating will not be changed until free account users are given more access to the game, which will probably never happen.

Wizard101 Review: Wizard101 - Fun but Frustrating with Low Drop Rates and Pay to Win Aspect

Wizard101 is a game that has been around for a while now, and it has its ups and downs. One of the downsides is the drop rates, which are ridiculously low and not good at all. It can be frustrating to spend hours trying to get a certain item, only to have it not drop.

Another issue with the game is that it is full of pay to win players. The game seems to be geared toward them, and if you do not spend real money, the game works against you. This can be discouraging for players who do not have the means to spend money on the game.

The developers have reduced the lives of the bosses, but they have increased the cheats so much that you don't stand a chance unless you spend money to buy henchmen. This can be frustrating for players who want to play the game without spending money.

Despite these issues, Wizard101 used to be a favorite way to spend free time for many players. However, with the current state of the game, it has become so frustrating that some players cannot stand it.

Overall, Wizard101 has its pros and cons. While it can be a fun game to play, the pay to win aspect and low drop rates can be discouraging for some players. If you are willing to spend money on the game, it may be worth giving it a try. However, if you are looking for a game that is more fair and balanced, you may want to look elsewhere.

Wizard101 Wizard101: A Disappointing Game Focused on Money, Not Players

Wizard101 is a game that has been around for a while now, and I gotta say, it's not what it used to be. I mean, I'm pretty sure they're gonna get hit with a lawsuit someday for falsely advertising their games and forcing kids to gamble or buy bundles. It's all about the money now, and it's a shame.

I used to love this game, but now it's all BS. The spellments were a bad idea from the start, and it's just gotten worse from there. Even if you cancel your membership properly, they'll find a way to take your money again. It's like they don't care about their players anymore.

And don't even get me started on the glitches. There's one in particular that they won't address because it makes them more money. It's just not fair to the players.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this game anymore. It's just not worth it. Save your money and find something else to play.

Wizard101 Wizard101: A Once-Great Game Now Ruined by Expensive Boss Battles, Terrible Drop Rates, and Poor Customer Service

Wizard101 is a game that was much better when it first came out. Back then, people worked together and it was a lot less expensive to play. Nowadays, the boss battles are incredibly variable and can cost you more money. You might need to hire henchmen or buy better equipment just to win. The drop rates are also horrible, which means you might not get the items you need to progress.

To make matters worse, the customer service is combative and unreasonable. If you have a problem with the game, they might give you a hard time instead of helping you. And there are constant programming issues that result in loss of items. This can be frustrating, especially if you've spent a lot of time and money on the game.

Overall, Wizard101 should be an enjoyable game. But the philosophy now is horrible. The developers need to look at what they did when the game was new and try to recapture that magic. They need to make the game more fun and less expensive. They also need to improve the customer service and fix the programming issues. Until then, it's hard to recommend this game to anyone.

Wizard101 Warning: Wizard101 Company's Greed and Shady Practices

I've been playing Wizard101 for a long time now, but I gotta say, the company is starting to get a little greedy. I wouldn't trust them with my credit card info if I were you. They'll just start renewing your account without your permission and charging you twice as much as they should be.

And if that wasn't bad enough, they'll even ban your account and then try to make you pay for all the unauthorized charges they made on your card. It's just not right, you know? And to make matters worse, they've been hiring illegal immigrants to work for them and paying them next to nothing. These guys are just hacking into people's credit cards and causing all sorts of problems.

I really hope that one day, Kingsisle Company gets shut down for all the shady stuff they've been doing. I mean, God doesn't like ugly people, right? So they better watch out.

Wizard101 Wizard101: Overpriced and Disappointing - A Customer's Review

I gotta say, Wizard101 ain't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, it's got some cool spells and stuff, but dang, it's expensive! I mean, I shelled out like 2 grand just to play for a year. And what do I get in return? A company that does whatever they want and doesn't give a hoot about us customers.

Take for example, the recent change they made to a super important athame in the live realm. They made it completely useless! And the worst part? They did it after we paid real money to open up sockets on these athames to put in jewels that we also paid for or spent hours farming for. And when we complained, all they said was "Sorry, can't give you your jewels back." Like, what kind of customer service is that?

I'm done with this game, man. I'm gonna report them to my country or something. It's just not worth it to keep playing when they treat us like this.

Wizard101 Review: Wizard101's Constant Begging for Money Hinders Enjoyment

Wizard101 is a game that has been around for a while and I used to really enjoy playing it when I was younger. However, now that I have played many other MMORPG games, I find that Wizard101 is not as enjoyable as it used to be. One of the biggest issues I have with the game is that it seems to constantly beg you for money in order to progress further into the game.

The game's market leniency on crowns has not improved over time, and it can be frustrating to try and earn crowns without having to jump through a bunch of hoops that don't benefit a lot of people who are not from the US. While I understand that the developers need to make money, it seems like they are relying too heavily on players spending money in order to progress in the game.

At the end of the day, people are not going to spend that much money on a game that doesn't benefit their life in any meaningful way. My suggestion to the developers would be to work on their profit scheme by offering more in-game items, premium purchases, and skins that players can purchase without feeling like they are being forced to spend money in order to progress in the game.

Overall, while I used to enjoy playing Wizard101, I find that the game has not kept up with the times and is now lagging behind other MMORPG games in terms of player experience and enjoyment. If the developers can work on improving the game's profit scheme and making it more enjoyable for players, then I think that Wizard101 could once again become a popular game that people enjoy playing.

Wizard101 Disappointing Customer Service and Security Measures in Wizard101

I'm a grown-up who's been playing Wizard101 on and off since 2009. I've bought stuff like zones and items, and I've had a pretty good time. But then I took a break and when I came back, I found out that someone had messed with my account. I was really worried, so I reached out to the people who run the game, KingsIsle Entertainment. I thought they'd help me out, but they didn't do anything. They just kept saying they couldn't do anything and they wouldn't answer my question about whether someone had accessed my account from a different state. It was really frustrating. I felt like they didn't care about me or my account at all. It's not right that they take your credit card information and then don't have any security measures in place. It's not safe. I was really upset, but I didn't want to start over with a new account. So instead, I went into my account and deleted my credit card information. I don't want to work with a company that doesn't take my security seriously. It's just not smart.

Wizard101 Frustrating Cheating Bosses and Money-Driven Gameplay in Wizard101

Wizard101 is a game that some people might enjoy, but for me, it can be really frustrating to play. I get so angry sometimes! At first, it's not too bad. The first couple of worlds are pretty easy. But then you get to the bosses who cheat, and it's a whole different story. You HAVE to go with a group or you'll die. Even if you spend hundreds of tokens on Henchmen, it's just ridiculous!

Some people like the cheating bosses because they're harder and more challenging. But not me. I often can't find a group to go with, and I'd rather just go solo. But with some bosses, that's just not possible. They cheat so much that it's impossible to do solo, even if you spend up to 500 crowns on a Henchmen. And even when you do spend money on the game, there are no guarantees that it will actually help you.

All KingsIsle Entertainment (KI) wants is our money. If you want crowns, packs, or anything else, you have to spend money. But even when you do, there's no guarantee that it will actually help you. It's frustrating and unfair, and it makes me not want to play the game anymore.

At the very least, the cheating bosses should not be able to attack our Henchmen. That way, we could keep ourselves alive and have a better chance of winning. But KI doesn't seem to care about that. All they care about is making money, even if it means frustrating their players and making the game less enjoyable.

Overall, I would not recommend Wizard101 to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money or deal with frustrating bosses. It's just not worth it.

Wizard101 Wizard101 Review: Disappointing Game with Bad Customer Support and Profanity Issues

I remember playing Wizard101 a long time ago when I was babysitting an 8-year-old boy. The game was new back then, and it was a lot of fun. However, things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, most of the players are young kids who started playing the game when it first came out. They are usually in college or college age now. Unfortunately, many of them are not very friendly, helpful, or nice. In fact, there is an extremely large amount of profanity used in the game. It's really quite shocking how much cursing goes on in there.

One thing that really bothers me is the fact that there is a whole system for misspelling words to get around the filter system for cursing. It's like the game is encouraging bad behavior. I don't think that's a good thing for young kids who are playing the game.

Another problem with Wizard101 is the fact that there are a lot of game glitches. This can be really frustrating when you're trying to play the game and it keeps malfunctioning. It's a waste of time, and it makes the game less enjoyable.

Customer support for Kings Isle is also really bad. They are often rude, and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. If you have a problem with the game, good luck getting any help from them. They might not even answer your message.

I think it's really important to find a good game with a good company backing it. Wizard101 is not that game. They have a "no refund" policy, which is really frustrating. It's like they don't care about their customers once they have their money. Prepaying for membership is a bad idea because they might treat you badly.

Overall, I would not recommend Wizard101. There are better games out there with better companies behind them. If you're looking for a fun game to play, keep looking.

Wizard101 Wizard101 Review: Frustrating Paywalls and Disappointing Content

This game, Wizard101, has a lot of paywalls that can be frustrating for players. The advertisements make the game look amazing, but in reality, it's not that great. You have to spend a lot of money on membership and crowns just to get something for a limited amount of time. The worlds take a long time to complete, and the customer service is not very helpful. Sometimes, people get banned for no reason, which is not fair.

When I played this game as a child in 2012, I remember being annoyed by the paywalls. The chat filter is also annoying because it prevents people from using certain words and abbreviations. The chat system is taken too seriously, which can ruin the game for some players. The game should not cost money because it's not worth it compared to the commercials.

Every year, they add more worlds, but they are not very good. They are just repetitive and not very interesting. The packs, mounts, and pets are not worth the money because they are scams. Overall, this game is not very good, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
