Date 6th jan 2020. Today at around 11.30am I went to my local morrisons store at eastwood nottinghamshire. I was not only disappointed but quite angry both on behalf of myself and the staff. The shelves, fridges and freezers had great empty gaps, not anything exotic but items like veg, fruit, bread baked beans frozen veg etc.. However all was not lost as there were what appeared to be two managers and a supervisor discussing how to arrange the dog biscuits on the shelf. When I commented to the staff at the tills having queued 4 customers deep at one of the few that was open that the store actually looked as though it was closing down or going bankrupt they apologised saying there were no staff to fill them. I mentioned the 3 managerial/supervisory staff at the dog biscuits. The members of staff who heard. Me actually applauded said the were well aware of the attitude of the management but they were not listened too when they tried to raise any issues. I understand times are hard but if this is the sort of customer service they want to give they shouldn't be suprised when the do closed down due to lack of customer interest.
