I'm a deaf woman, live in Randfontein. in AUGUST my familiy were in "SMASH AND GRAP". I go to Woolworths in Randfontein to stop my card. They said, I must talk over phone and want my ID. I told them my ID is stolen and cannot talk over phone because I'm deaf. but they would'nt understand. MUST HAVE MY ID ? THAT'S STOLEN. I tell them I know my ID and write on paper. They assure me I would get my new card within 6 weeks. over 6 weeks I go to Woolworths about this. They phone to head office, and said "no, there's no card". I ask them "how long must I wait for my card?". then they said, within 2 weeks I can collect my card at Keywest at cost of R40.., I said OK, then this weekend on 6 October'13 I go to Keywest, they said - Go to Westgate. must collect my card at Westgate. UNBELIEVABLE.
I WANT TO CANCEL MY CARD IMMEDIATELY. TOO MUCH TROUBLE AND PETROL COSTS TO ME. I AM DEAF AND CANNOT PHONE. MUST DRIVE AND ASK (extra petrol costs). NO ONE UNDERSTAND AFRIKAANS. BECAUSE I'M DEAF, I WERE LEARN HOW DO SPEAK / TALK IN AFRIKAANS AND LIPREAD. NOT IN ENGLISH. BUT EVERYONE ONLY ENGLISH - WHY ?
