I finally was able to stop my deductions from my credit card. We signed my son up for Work Out World so he would be able to be with his friends. After about eight months he slowed down and finally stopped going. I contacted them to cancel his membership. The associate I spoke with was very nice and accommodating. It was explained to me that he must do it personally at their location. I accompanied him there and was told I needed to deal with headquarters. I did and I hit a wall. Bouncing around like a ball with nothing being done. The Credit Card company wanted to contact WOW and ran into the same issues I was having. The promises to both of us from WOW was the same and part of it was we needed to go to the one we signed up at since they are all individually owned. We did and were told that WOW had been sold and the new owners consolidated and were dealing with all financials. I tried many times to reach someone at corporate and finally was told it was resolved. I still was getting the monthly fee deducted from my card. The card company received my request and then tried numerous times and then stopped the automatic payments. They needed to wait for a certain amount of time for a response. There was none so the payments were stopped. Most of this occurred during the first covid and we went to there and they were closed even after calling to confirm. After 18 months of being stalled and lied to I finally got the payments stopped. I was not able to get a refund. I was just so frustrated by all this and with no refund after all I went through. It sucked.
Desired outcome: Want to get my money back. I want it without having to deal with any of the stonewalling I already went through.
