These guys are a bunch of crooks and liars
These guys are a bunch of crooks and liars. Can't rate lower than one star! Watch out: Worldwide Travel Experts (WTE) is a big scam! Dealing with *** (MTL) in *** was a big mistake! The person selling the package at MTL made it seem like it would be easy to sit through the so-called "quick viewing of the WTE website," but that was a lie! We got to their shady location 5 minutes before the painful presentation, and little did we know that we would have to wait another 25 minutes before it started. They made us wait until all the other victims arrived and didn't care about our time. Then the real suffering began. From the beginning, it was clear that it was all a scam to get you to pay $12,000 for "Nothing." Basically, they're a bunch of thieves in fancy clothes and expensive watches (probably fakes), and their top salesman, Borris, was a *** who graduated from the scammer university on a full scholarship. He reminded me of a used car salesman from the 80s - probably one who time-traveled to 2022! They had no respect for our time, and the saleswoman assigned to wear us down kept rambling for another 25 minutes on top of Borris's deceitful sales pitch. Once they realized we weren't falling for it, all the niceness went out the window, and they turned nasty. As we tried to escape the torture *** and horrible dungeons, the saleswoman said that "A Manager" had to sign off on our exit papers! Otherwise, we wouldn't get credit for attending the presentation!

We signed up for this travel place in Nov 2019 - just before covid
We signed up for this travel place in Nov 2019 - just before covid. They gave us a $500 Certificate when we bought our first travel deal. They extended the certificate date because of covid - then I followed instructions to send the certificate by mail and haven't heard anything from them. I've been calling their customer service number since the end of last year.. Left messages and nobody has called back.
I attended a seminar with my wife during our vacation in Maui
I attended a seminar with my wife during our vacation in Maui. I wasn't really interested in buying anything, but they convinced me to try their trial for $110. They charged my credit card and have been continuously charging it for the past 2.5 to 3 years. Now, there's a $3k charge on my credit card with a 20% interest rate, all for a trial that I haven't been able to use or access their website even once. They even called me to renew my membership for an additional cost, but I declined. And now, they're damaging my credit score by reporting late payments after stealing a large amount of money.
I recently bought into the Worldwide Travel Experts service that we paid a hefty amount for to receive access to the site and get deals on hotel
I recently bought into the Worldwide Travel Experts service that we paid a hefty amount for to receive access to the site and get deals on hotel accommodations for vacations. I recently booked and paid for a 2 bedroom room with 4 people listed on the reservation. Once I show up and check in, the hotel tells me that a 1 bedroom was booked and the rates I paid should have been for a 2 bedroom. I can only chat with the service as the phone services is closed and no other place to contact, just stranded with 4 people and 1 room. The chat said that in terms no guarantee on beds which I said bedrooms are different and what pricing is based on, so it was a total bait and switch and the company downgraded my room to make a profit on the difference. I paid over 6k for the membership and it is a total scam.

Breech of contract leadin' to a false claim and sellin' my info to a collections agency
Breech of contract leadin' to a false claim and sellin' my info to a collections agency. Worldwide travel experts done inaccurately sold my info to a collections agencies claimin' lack of payment. The payment was on autopay. I requested they not charge durin' COVID 19 'cause of the travel restrictions and services they couldn't do at this time. However the company didn't respond to my calls and email 'bout fees and charges durin' the travel restrictions and orders durin' COVID-19. The company done provided inactive business numbers *** and ***. Austin, the representative hung up on me twice refusin' to talk 'bout my account. These calls were made in or 'round April . The company done now send it to collections without communication or answerin' my calls.
Worldwide Travel Experts didn't deliver on any of the promises they made to me as a customer
Worldwide Travel Experts didn't deliver on any of the promises they made to me as a customer. I wasted thousands of dollars with them and got NOTHING in return. This company is a scam. They should be pursued for embezzlement. The latest scam they pulled was tricking me into renewing my membership for 5 years, promising a free 1-week stay at a resort in ***. They said the offer would be available for 24 months once activated. After COVID, I called them in 2022 to check if I still had the certificate, and they confirmed that I just needed to activate it. However, this week they've been telling me that the certificate (awarded in 2019) is now expired and I can't use it anymore. They're literally stealing customers' money. Something needs to be done about it.
Me and my buddy were in Hawaii when we decided to buy something from Worldwide Travel Experts, LLC
Me and my buddy were in Hawaii when we decided to buy something from Worldwide Travel Experts, LLC. They said we could cancel within three days, so on the second day, I tried to cancel. They told me it was canceled, but then a week later, my friend got a call asking about our new timeshare. We were both confused, so I called again. The person on the phone said it wasn't canceled and didn't know who I spoke to before. They said I had to pay a cancellation fee because the time to cancel had passed. This is not only wrong information, but it also shows that the company lacks integrity. I haven't even used their website or done any business with them, yet they're demanding over 9000 dollars, which is now affecting my credit and stopping me from doing things in my life. This is why people don't trust businesses, because stuff like this happens all the time. I really hope they can finally fix this issue.
When I first bought that package, I got a certificate for $500 to use towards my first booking
When I first bought that package, I got a certificate for $500 to use towards my first booking. After I paid and traveled, I had to send in the receipt for reimbursement. I mailed the certificate back in April. I emailed them many times asking about the status. Every month, they gave me excuses because of covid or the accounting department, and it went on and on. Finally, they mailed a check. But it never arrived. They gave me more excuses, saying it took someone else 7 weeks to receive it on the mainland. At this point, I asked for a tracking number, which they provided. I got the check a few days after getting the tracking info. I deposited the check, but it bounced! By then, I had already spent the money in my account, and now I'm in the negative because of their returned check! I emailed them to ask for a new check, and they told me they're working on it to get money moved to cover it. They said I would have a check by the end of the week. I don't have a week to wait for the money they owe me!
This is a total scam
This is a total scam. They lure you in when you're all excited about your vacation. They talk about saving money, but it's all a lie. They rush you out the door so you don't even know what you're signing up for. We ended up signing a contract and had to take out a loan for over $6000. And what do we get? A useless "membership" for cheaper vacation stuff. They say you can't cancel it after 3 days, even if you're still on vacation. We pay $200 every month for nothing. We tried to cancel during COVID, but they said no. We told them we can't afford vacations anymore, and they still said no. This "membership" only benefits Worldwide Travel Experts. Don't fall for their tricks like we did. We're hiring a lawyer to get our money back and cancel this once and for all. The collection company they use, Monterey Financial, is terrible too. They keep hounding us for money.
I went to Worldwide Travel Experts' seminar in April
I went to Worldwide Travel Experts' seminar in April . I had a timeshare in Mexico back then, and Mr. told me they could help me cancel it if I transferred it to them. I signed up and was told my monthly payment would start in November . I asked *** if I could cancel anytime, and he said yes. Before the monthly payment came, I decided to cancel the whole membership. I paid *** $850 through Amex to help me cancel my Mexico timeshare. They didn't address the cancellation request but instead sent me to a collection agency, Monterey Financial Services. Now they're trying to collect $10000 for a service I haven't used. Monterey reported a late payment to the credit agency, which caused my score to drop by 100 points. My daughter's student loan application got rejected because of my credit score and negative report. I want to sue these two companies and would appreciate any help. I saw online that others were also victimized by them, and I'm willing to coordinate with them.
We booked a whale watching tour and reef dance excursion on December 5 & 6 with a travel agent from Worldwide Travel Experts.
We booked a whale watching tour and reef dance excursion on December 5 & 6 with a travel agent from Worldwide Travel Experts, for $234. He offered a $200 credit toward this fee if we would attend a 90-minute sales presentation at Global Travel on December 6th. We did attend the sales presentation with the sales agent and lawyer. After the presentation, the agent asked if we wished to purchase their $13,999 program which offered discounts on airfare and hotels. I declined as I have travel benefits through family connections. The agent had placed a $200 temporary authorization on my MasterCard to guarantee our attendance at the presentation, which was to be removed after our attendance. However, the $200 was posted as a charge to my card. I contacted the agent and he assured me that the charge would be reversed within 5 business days. It was not, and when contacted again, the agent informed me that only his supervisor can authorize the reversal of the $200 charge. The agent directed me to call his supervisor at his home, but his phone does not take messages. I have asked my bank to reverse the charge.
My husband and I joined this vacation club 3 years ago when we were in Maui
My husband and I joined this vacation club 3 years ago when we were in Maui. Last April, we finally went on our first trip. In June , I sent in a rebate certificate for a $500 rebate that they said we would get after our first trip. They said they got my request. In 9, I contacted customer service to ask about my check and they said things were delayed because of layoffs from the pandemic. Since 1/2022, I've been calling customer service a lot - more than a dozen times - but no one ever called me back. Finally, I talked to a customer service manager named ***. She checked my account and said they got our certificate back, but she didn't know why the check hadn't been sent. She said she would check with Accounting. Yesterday, I emailed the company: I left a message on the customer service manager's voicemail at *** for ***. She was supposed to call me back on 3/16, but she still hasn't called. I still haven't gotten my $500 rebate for our first trip with Worldwide Travel, which we took last April. It's been almost a whole year, and still no check! I've called at least a dozen times and this problem hasn't been resolved. I'm shocked at the terrible customer service from *** and I really regret becoming a member. I expect a response to my voicemail or this email (or both) right away. If not, I'll take my case to the *** and leave bad reviews on the ComplaintsBoard.com and social media. This is ridiculous! As of 3/24/22, I still haven't gotten a response by phone or email.
I bought a travel package on March 9 for $8499.00
I bought a travel package on March 9 for $8499.00. We didn't know it wouldn't work for us as Canadians. We've been trying for years to resolve this with the company. In February , they gave us a $1000.00 credit card reimbursement for our hardship. We agreed to a 50% refund, which was $4249.50. In September , we received a bank draft for $2000.00. Then in January , we got two $500.00 cheques ($1000.00). We agreed to the 50% refund and kept the travel package membership, even though we knew we wouldn't use it fully. I have travel receipts to submit for reimbursement, but now they won't accept them. This package doesn't work for Canadians. We're still waiting for the remaining $1249.00 to complete the 50% refund. We also received a $500.00 gift certificate when we signed the contract, which we used in October . We've submitted the paperwork and contacted the same representative we've been dealing with since the beginning. We're still waiting for the $500.00. She said it could take around 3 months to receive the funds. I told her in early February that I had no update on when the funds would be released. She said she couldn't make the decision to release the outstanding $1249.00 and $500.00, and that it had to go through the fulfillment center. I asked how to contact the center to present our case. She gave me a phone number, but when I called, it turned out to be a sales team. I explained my situation, and they gave me a different email address to try. I emailed my ongoing concern to that address, but the response came from the same representative. She represents both email addresses and companies. After this back and forth, I emailed her again, asking for the sixth time to speak to her manager or owner. The last correspondence was on February 9. I asked her to involve the owner, but her response was that she would reach out to him. And now I'm sitting here feeling very frustrated. Can someone please help me?
I bought a plane ticket to Greece in 2019 for travel in March
I bought a plane ticket to Greece in 2019 for travel in March . It cost me $1,424.29. On March 14, the night before we were supposed to leave for Greece, we got an email from British Airways saying there was a travel ban from the US to Europe. They offered us a voucher to change the date or destination of our trip. I contacted Worldwide Travel Experts, the agency I bought the ticket from, to discuss what would happen to our flight. They said they couldn't help us and that it was up to the airline. I kept trying to get a credit or refund from Worldwide, but they wouldn't offer any help. In August, I contacted British Airways and they said they had already issued a refund. I asked where the refund was and they told me to contact my agent. I went back to Worldwide and spoke to many different people before one representative asked for the email thread from British Airways. I sent it in October and they said they would look into it. After a few weeks, they called to say they would issue a check. We received a check for $113.09 yesterday, but Worldwide told me we wouldn't get the full amount because of cancellation fees. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but they didn't call me back. When I called them, the representative I spoke to, Jezabel, was rude and said there was nothing else that could be done. I hung up and called back to ask for a supervisor, but they said they would call me back to my cell phone. They ended up calling a different number again. The person who answered told me that we didn't get the full refund because we didn't call the airline to use our voucher. The email from British Airways didn't say we had to call them, it said we could redeem online. We were calling Worldwide from the beginning to find out what was going on. Now Worldwide says we never called the airline. We should be able to contact our travel agency first, and British Airways directed us to do so. All I want is my money back and for Worldwide to handle this with the airlines. That's why we paid them. Worldwide is terrible at communication because every representative gives us different information. They never offered any peace of mind during these hard times, they just made it harder for us. I have proof of the conversations in an email from British Airways. When I spoke to a representative from Worldwide today, their name was June. I told them how frustrated I am with the company and I hope they listen to the phone recording to hear how terrible Worldwide is. I used a bad word because I was so mad at Worldwide for not helping me with this issue I've been dealing with for 9 months. I called Worldwide at 8:18am on November 25. Jezebel from Worldwide made my day worse by not showing any sympathy or caring about my situation.
