I ordered a solar water feature costing $35.89 through an advertisement on Facebook.
I received a confirmation email from Pearlspay.
A package was delivered via Royal Mail (tracked but no signature required). On the envelope it said "Photo only". When I opened it there was a small cardboard box inside.
I made a complaint through Paypal and had a response apologising that a wrong product had been sent through a system error and something about card outside for people - which did not make any sense. They offered by way of compensation a 30% refund if I returned the item.
I have replied stating I want a full refund. Awaiting a reply.
Ordered the walking stick on the left of photo for which I paid £45.44p.
Received the rubbish on the right of photo for which I would gladly pay a maximum of £5.
I have had numerous email correspondences with HEAROFU, whoever that is, and have offers of 10, 20, 30 and 40% refunds. I have declined all of them. I will pursue this until I get a full refund minus £5 for the rubbish.
