We was gonna have a house built in *** located in Marysville township. The builder is Yingst, the point person is *** from ***. We picked out a property picked out a house we thought would work for us, started the process of picking out all the extra's that go into a home while talking to ***. We didn't finish any of the above processes when the appraisal came in low. *** told us that it was the first time and we could appeal the figure. My wife and I said yes to the appeal but if it came in low again we were out. One week later same appraisal number came in, this was in July. Since then we have asked for our deposit of 6000.00 dollars back 5 times. We have contacted both *** and Yingst. The point person at Yingst seems to be on vacation the times we called and have not heard back from them as of yet. We were told they were waiting for statements from Marysville township to come in 6 week ago.

We bought a new house from Yingst Homebuilders (Address: ***, Harrisburg, PA*** Phone: ***) in April . When it rained a lot in July , the basement got flooded a few times, and the worst one had 16" of water. Yingst added another sump and pump (I had to pay for it... I didn't want to argue and just wanted it fixed) shortly after the 16" flood. The basement stayed dry until Hurricane Ida hit the area on September 1st this year and flooded the basement with 3" of water. The two sumps and 1/2 HP pumps "solution" wasn't enough to keep the basement dry. Basement Waterproofing experts say that to keep the basement dry, it needs an interior foundation drain solution in addition to the exterior foundation drain that was installed with the house. They were surprised that the builder only installed an exterior drain, considering the drainage problems in the neighborhood. Out of the 23 homes in Phase III, 5 houses experienced flooding from Ida, and this is on top of the ongoing drainage issues in the development. As of the date of this complaint [protected]), Yingst hasn't responded to my calls or emails asking them to fix the problem. They're clearly ignoring me, which is why I'm making this complaint.
