Mixed Experiences with Young Living Essential Oils
As someone deeply passionate about natural products, I've had a mixed experience with Young Living Essential Oils. While some customers rave about the quality and benefits of the oils, others have expressed concerns about customer service and pricing. It's clear that Young Living has its strengths in providing natural products, but there are areas that could be improved to enhance the overall customer experience. If you value natural living and are willing to navigate potential challenges, Young Living Essential Oils might still be worth exploring for your wellness journey.
Best products ever!
I have been using Young Living products since 2009 after I had cancer. I wanted to change the trajectory of my health, and I HAVE! I'm shocked at the reviews on here because I have never experienced anything but positive results from the products and the company itself! I have gotten replacement products when needed and customer service has been great! Shipping was a bit slow last year in 2020 but what WAS normal last year? Don't believe all these crappy 1 star reviews! I'd be willing to bet there's an ulterior motive going on there! Try it for yourself! You'll never regret it and never go back to using synthetic products again!
Amazing company and products!
I have had nothing but great experiences with this company, I always receive the correct order (been an ER member over a year now btw) and they arrive the same time every month so there is no wondering where my package is. I had to stop my ER membership temporarily due to personal finances and the representative that helped me out ( Lori member # ***) was polite and helpful. This process was fast and painless and I was informed I can jump right back into the program at any time. Thank you Young Living for filling my house with wonderful smells, helping my body with healing during flu season as well as joint pain but mostly for being a pleasure to do business with. I WILL be back soon! Christy Rodriguez

If you don't know about this site yet, you should
If you don't know about this site yet, you should, if you are at all into healthy living and things good for your body. Their products are unsurpassed. I order every month from them and I have researched their competitors. Gary Young really is in a league above the rest in terms of his commitment to quality and consistency to excellence. I use these oils on a daily basis and I also take the multivitamins for women called "Hers" - yes, men, they have some for you as well called "His" - lol. TIP: If you become a distributor you can get a hefty discount on your own product and you don't have to sell to anyone else. You can email me if you would like and I will explain how to do that. These essential oils smell heavenly, work wonders AND are hard to live without once you start using them. Their quality speaks for itself.
The essential oil themselves are wonderful there is no denying that
The essential oil themselves are wonderful there is no denying that. However the customer service and the teachers of how the program works is terrible! I ordered one month and the following month placed a different order they sent me both the previous months order and current months order. I called customer service and the kind lady explained to me that I had to shop in the Essential rewards tap to prevent this from happing again and that the staff isn't always trained properly. So the following month I did so. And low and behold the exact same thing happensthe following month. So again I call customer service as soon as I see my bank account has two with debits from young living, And they say there is nothing they can do because the order has been processed. Although it has not shipped. Now they won't return my money, and once again the gentleman I spoke to has told me that the staff is often not trained properly. I hope in the future the company will spend more time in properly training the staff so others will not have the same experience as I, for I truly loved the product.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! A pyamid scheme, taking advantage of young mothers. Once you subscribe they make it very difficult to cancel. I feel like a fool! They are actually refusing to delete my credit card information!
Young Living has a product line called Thieves and that is a very appropriate name because that is what this company is, a bunch of Thieves. Out of 8 commission checks I only received one, then I had signed up for a class but cancelled the next day (they did have a cancellation policy) and they cancelled the class but I can not get my money refunded. I have called, and sent emails and everyone says that is not my department and nobody will talk to me! Stay far, far away from this company! They are thieves!
Love the product but shipping is TERRIBLE! I have had to wait an excessive number of days to get the product. I purchased oils from YL the same day I purchased something from another company. I got the product from the other company in 5 days. I then found out it's quicker to contact Customer Service for them to put the order in versus me doing it over the website itself. Their delivery has always been BAD, especially after you pay so much for shipping!
I've been with Young Living for 15 years
I've been with Young Living for 15 years. The last fewyearshave been horrible! Example: In sept I ordered my monthly order. It was wrong. Oct order. It was missing items. Nov order. My oct and nov order were meshed together and it cost me double what I should have paid. There goes my budget. Dec order. Said they dropped a single bottle at 8 am in the mailbox. My mail doesn't come till noon. They said sorry. You'll have to call me post office. Nope! Now 15 days later they don't know where my $336.00 order is. People are right. They've gotten to big and greedy to care about the regular people anymore. I'm stopping my autoship next month and I'm activity trying other oils. They've list approximately $6000.00 a year from me!
I returned 2 orders to Young Living in August and they were received at their warehouse in September. I was told it takes 6 weeks to process the return which means that my refund should have been processed in October. I have called 5 times and *** given the run around. They always say they are e-mails the returns department however I never get a confirmation email or any follow up. I used to really like Young Living but I will never support them again and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB since as of now I have returned their product and they refuse to return my money.
Very nice folks to work with! My order arrived with one item missing. They were kind and helpful and efficienct.
I want to start this off by saying that I'm not a customer of the unnamed company, but I received a package for one of its members. It was addressed to my apartment complex and I did my due diligence of posting to our apartment board to try and find the owner of the package, but when this didn't succeed, I opened the package to look for the packing slip to contact Young Living. I have been on a run around with this company for the past 3 weeks since contacting the customer service email (the only contact method listed within the package, mind you) who kept telling me they would send me a paid return label to my email that I could print out to mail the package back. The first email that told me this said that we could call to discuss further - not sure why I would have to discuss receiving a return label, so I replied that they could just send it to me. The response time by email was inconsistent and I often received messages at late hours - I know the company operates in various time zones and I'm in the Eastern Standard Time zone, but this would be outside of most business hours for even Pacific Standard Time businesses. Now we're multiple emails in and I've been told that I would receive a return label by email, but the only thing I've received is an 'order confirmation' addressed to the original customer. Beyond these slights which are already an indicator of poor customer service, there was a lot to be said about the packing itself. Even without opening the package, I could tell that items inside were damaged from the smell (I know they're essential oils and you could definitely smell them) and several items looked damaged when I retrieved the packing slip to attempt to call the company. I did not mess with the items, but it did not appear that the company did anything to protect the fragile items inside of the box. Lastly, I still don't know how this was even delivered to my door. The address on the original label is to my apartment complex with no apartment unit number indicated. I'm towards the back of the complex on the second story which seems to be an oddly specific place to drop off a package that's not marked for here. I don't know why this would've come to me to begin with and I don't really know if that's Young Living's fault or not, but I am terribly confused. Also, if the customer lives in the building? I'd much rather have had the company contact her so we wouldn't have to go through this hassle and we could just exchange the package. My guess is she's either already received a refund or a replacement package and the company just wants its stuff back at my hassle. I love using essential oils and I've even looked into Young Living's products before, but I will never be a customer to them after this experience.

I have been buying their products for a long time and have had good dealings but when the Corona virus happened I decided to buy two bottles of their hand sanitizer on 3/6/2020. I still have not recieved it but they did charge my card. I never have recieved any information on the website about why it wasn’t shipped or when it will be shipped. Today I used their chat feature to find out what was going on and the customer representative said they were on back order should be getting some in the warehouse by the end of the week . But this tells me nothing as I have no clue how many they sold before they stopped and listed it as out of stock. She said first come first serve. They have poor tracking of inventory as this happened to me a few weeks before this on another product, they don’t give you any information as to why it hasn’t shipped. So unacceptable! They make too much money to not correct these issues.
They have supported me beautifully
They have supported me beautifully. There are so many wonderful scents! I would highly recommend all of them!

Some slight glitches here and there in the past couple of years that I've been using YL products, but CS was always willing to fix them immediately. My orders always arrive on before expected date, and I love the freebies/gifts they send. They did do a complete overhaul of the shopping platform this summer, which caused a few temporary issues, and longer hold times. However, the new platform is >amazing< .. and so easy to use. All that said, I'm not saying that other people haven't had problems. I was just surprised when I read some of the reviews, because I've never had any issues like that.. and I thought it was important to leave feedback from someone who is very happy with the company, their products and their CS.

I have been with this company for a year and a half, and have had a great experience. Every time I have had to work with customer service, they have done their best to help me with my problem and fix it. If I had to call back, the issue was always solved next time around. I have worked in customer service for many years, and people are only human. Just because a situation doesn't go your way or one person doesn't fix the problem, doesn't mean to give up on the company. Humans make mistakes. During this pandemic, it was made clear to all members that shipping times would be longer because less people were working to keep them safe. Was it frustrating waiting longer for orders, yes. But would I risk the health of another for my order to be on time, absolutley not. Have some compassion friends. I love this company, their products have literally changed my life, and I will always be a member. Tiffany O
Disappointed with Young Living Essential Oils' Customer Service and Old Dated Oils
I recently received my October 3, 2019 Essential Rewards (ER) order from Young Living Essential Oils (YL) and was disappointed to find that two of the oils were dated a year ago. I reached out to YL to inquire about the harvest and production dates, but it took them 2-3 business days to reply each time. It has now been a month since I received the order and I am still frustrated with the situation.
When I asked YL for a replacement of the two oils and requested that they waive the restocking fee and shipping, their customer service (CS) replied that they could only waive the 25% restocking fee one time since it had been more than a month since the order and I had already opened the oils. They also stated that I would have to ship the oils back to them at my own cost and that they could not provide a replacement, but instead would give me a credit to my account.
This is incredibly frustrating for me because I am not trying to make money off of YL, I simply buy their products for my own personal use. I spend over $300 on my monthly orders and this is the kind of treatment I receive. While some of their oils are good, they are also expensive. YL should not be shipping old dated oils and I do not care what they say about their oils not expiring. If you know anything about chemistry, you know that the majority of oils react with the air as soon as we open the bottles.
I have nowhere else to express my frustrations because YL CS does not seem to care. I encourage anyone who buys essential oils to email the company for harvest and production dates. It is important to know what you are buying and to make sure you are getting the freshest product possible.
Young Living Essential Oils: Great Products, But Mindful of How They Affect People
Hey guys, I wanted to share my experience with Young Living Essential Oils. My future wife and her mom are obsessed with these oils and use them all day, every day. I have to admit, I was skeptical at first, but after trying the Cool Azul for my past sports injuries, I felt great. I also use the Thieves toothpaste and their Bears oil, and they work perfectly for me.
However, my issue is more personal. My girlfriend is so fixated on these products that she doesn't understand how it affects others. She wants to educate everyone about how some things people use aren't the best for you and how only Young Living is safe. While I appreciate her passion, the oils sometimes give me a reaction, especially the Thieves cleaner or when she diffuses any oil. I get a sore throat and a stuffy nose.
I just want people to understand that it's hard to be in a relationship with someone who is so passionate about a product and a company that it affects your relationship. Young Living needs to know that roping people into a better lifestyle is only possible with a mindset of wanting to change. If I want to eat Twinkies and drink beer, then I will, but if I want to have carrots and water, I also will. The company means well, but they need to understand that people have different lifestyles and preferences.
Overall, I still think Young Living has pretty good products, and probably the best oils out there. But, they need to be more mindful of how their products affect people and not force their beliefs onto others.
Disappointed with Young Living Essential Oils: Poor Customer Service and Pressure to Order Monthly
I've been thinking about signing up for Young Living Essential Oils for three years, and finally decided to give it a try. I've received five or six shipments using essential rewards, but I've decided to cancel the ER minimum of $50/mo ordering. While I like the oils just fine, I don't need the pressure of ordering something every month just to get "discounted" shipping ($6) and earn monthly rewards. Plus, I've never received my shipments sooner than two weeks from the time I placed my order.
I have another very good direct essential oil company that I order from, and I get free shipping and excellent customer service. The shipments arrive in an average of five days. I'm sticking with them! When I called to cancel my Young Living membership, there was no questioning as to why I was cancelling. The representative just reminded me of how I was losing my already earned points and discounted shipping. When I mentioned that my diffuser had never worked properly, I was blamed for why it was not working properly. There was no "how can I make things right" or anything to remedy my defective diffuser. I was disgusted!
I work in the customer service industry, and this was POOR! I then asked to cancel my membership, and was told not to order anything for a year. I want my membership cancelled today, and even that was a NO. Really? Even though I like their oils, I will NEVER order from them again based upon the customer service I was given.
Review: Young Living Essential Oils - A Game Changer for Health and Wellness
I gotta say, I've been using Young Living Essential Oils for a while now and I'm really impressed. I did some research before I started using them and found out that they own farms for over 35 years! That's a long time, you know? I used to have a retail store in New York and we stocked a bunch of different companies, but we noticed that a lot of doctors from Winthrop Hospital were only using Young Living. So we asked them why and they told us to ask all the companies where they get their products and how they test them. We did that and only two companies would give us all the information on the phone. We were only allowed to visit two corporate offices and one of them was Young Living's. The other was doTERRA's, but they had only owned farms for 4 years. We asked doTERRA about diluting their oils and they said they do it to make them effective. But we knew that Young Living doesn't dilute their oils and they own their own farms, so we decided to go with them. We also didn't like how doTERRA talked about Young Living. Young Living had nothing negative to say about anyone and we liked that they stayed positive.
Now we only use Young Living at all of our dental offices and we even decided to sell our store and focus on building the business online and through private doctor offices of our colleagues. We've seen a major difference with dementia, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's patients when we use Young Living before doing dental treatment. It's really amazing. I think everyone should give it a try!
Terrible Company: Broken Product, No Customer Service, and Deducted Refund
This company is just terrible. I ordered the Alkalime, which is a really great product, because my friend let me try it. But when my first order arrived, it was damaged. They shipped it in a regular envelope with no padding, so the plastic container was broken open and the powder was everywhere. I tried calling them, but I couldn't get a person on the phone. Nobody responded to my emails either, so I had to use the online chat feature. It took me an hour and a half just to get someone to confirm my order and agree to refund my money. I asked for a refund instead of them shipping another bottle because I was afraid the same thing would happen again. I wanted the refund so I could go online and order the version that comes in individual packets, which is shipped in a box. Finally, the person agreed to give me a refund. Great, right? But then I got an email saying they were going to send me a return label, so now I have to spend another 30 minutes of my time to go somewhere to send it back. And here's the kicker: they're deducting $6.95 from my refund to cover the shipping to send back a damaged product. So basically, it cost me two hours of my time and $6.95 of my money to purchase something from them that I don't even have. Now isn't that special? I don't even have the energy to go back on the chat line to complain about the $6.95 because I'm sure that will take at least another hour of my time. Writing this review is taking even more of my time, but I want people to know what a terrible company this is. I spend thousands of dollars online every year, and I never have to deal with a company like this. Their customer service and policies are just the worst ever. Don't give this company any of your money. It's a complete joke.
Young Living Essential Oils Review: Disappointing Experience with Refund Policy and Customer Service
My experience with Young Living Essential Oils was not a good one. I was recommended to try their products by a friend and decided to purchase an oil and diffuser. However, my boyfriend had a terrible coughing fit after using it, so I decided to return the products. I called the company and was told that I could get a full refund and be reimbursed for the shipping costs if I sent the products back.
After I sent the products back, I called to inquire about when I would receive my refund. The woman I spoke to told me that their policy did not allow for a full refund and that they needed to review the phone call of the person who told me that. However, I never received a call back. The next day, I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me that the package I sent back only had the oil, not the diffuser. I was confused because my shipping receipt clearly stated the weight of the package and the cost of shipping. He said he would check with the receiving department and call me back, but I never received a call back.
The following day, I called again and asked for a supervisor. The woman on the phone put me on hold and came back to tell me that they would refund me immediately. I asked about the shipping charges I paid out of pocket, and they told me to email or fax in the receipt. I emailed it to them, and they said they credited my account. However, this was not what I was originally told, and they refused to refund my shipping charges.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Young Living Essential Oils. I felt like I was lied to, ignored, and ripped off. I will never buy anything from this company again, and I would caution others to be wary of their practices. It seems like a pyramid scam to me.
Young Living's Customer Service is a Nightmare: A Review
I gotta say, I ain't no customer of Young Living, but I got a package for one of their members. I did my part and posted on our apartment board to find the owner, but no luck. So I opened the package to find the packing slip and contact Young Living. And let me tell you, it's been a real headache dealing with them for the past 3 weeks.
Their customer service email is the only contact method listed in the package, and they kept telling me they'd send me a paid return label to my email so I could mail the package back. But it's been one email after another, with inconsistent response times and messages coming in at all hours of the night. I mean, I'm on EST and they're sending me stuff at 11pm? Come on now.
And even after all that, I still haven't received a return label. All I got was an "order confirmation" addressed to the original customer. Not exactly what I was looking for.
But that's not even the worst part. The packing itself was a disaster. Even before I opened the package, I could smell the essential oils and tell that some of the items inside were damaged. And when I finally got the packing slip to call the company, I saw that several items were visibly damaged. It's like they didn't even try to protect the fragile items inside the box.
And to top it all off, I still don't know how the package ended up at my door. The address on the label was for my apartment complex, but with no apartment unit number indicated. And I'm on the second story towards the back of the complex, so it's not like it was an easy drop-off spot. I'm just confused as to how this even happened.
Honestly, if the customer lived in my building, it would've been so much easier for Young Living to just contact her and sort things out. But I guess they just want their stuff back, even if it means putting me through all this hassle.
I used to be interested in Young Living's products, but after this experience, I don't think I'll ever be a customer.
Review: Young Living Essential Oils - Overpriced, Cult Following, and Shady History
I gotta tell ya, be careful with this MLM called Young Living Essential Oils. Sure, they might have some good quality oils, but you're paying a fortune for them because of all the people involved in the commission structure. And let me tell you, they've got a cult following that's just plain weird. What's even weirder is that they don't have any actual data to back up their claims. I mean, if you're gonna charge 10 times the normal grocery prices, you should at least provide some factual information to assure the buyer that they're making the right decision.
What's even more strange is that they're not even organic certified. I mean, with all their claims, you'd think they'd at least be organic. And being USDA approved isn't even that big of a deal, considering how relaxed the measures are to determine that status. And don't even get me started on their founder, D Gary Young. Did you know that D stands for Donald and not Doctor? And he doesn't even have a high school diploma, yet he's claimed to be a doctor at least 4 times and had his own practice.
But what's really disturbing is the controversy surrounding him. There's a video out there that he asked YouTube to take down, but you can still find it if you search for it. And they pay their employees terribly low wages. They're even being sued in Texas for their pyramid scam disguised as selling essential oils for quasi-medicinal purposes.
And let's not forget about the controversy in 1982 when Gary insisted on delivering his daughter in a water birth and ended up keeping her under water for an hour, which led to the death of an otherwise healthy baby.
I mean, seriously, do you trust the standard they proclaim to follow when you see the ethics of the person who invented the product? I found another brand that seems more promising. They're USDA approved and vegan, and they seem to have the proper regulating agency for every country they do business with. Plus, their prices are similar to Young Living and doTerra. Check them out at https://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/products/essential-oils/?gclid=CjwKCAiAwZTuBRAYEiwAcr67OUUTBlLFAiGxUlvyB5muOBvZBL27AuyjSxOhxLTDhlkAx2skz-wP0xoCKloQAvD_BwE.
Trust me, it's not worth it to support a company with such a shady history.
Young Living Essential Oils Review: Overpriced, Poor Customer Service, and a Rewards Program Scam
I was really excited to try out Young Living Essential Oils, but after giving them a chance for 5 months, I have come to the conclusion that this company is not as great as I thought it would be. While I do like their oils, I have found that the benefits of being a YL customer are zero. The products are way overpriced and it takes forever to receive your shipment via snail mail. On top of that, they nickel and dime you with their rewards program, which I believe to be a scam. Their customer service is terrible and there are many other essential oil companies out there that offer better incentives for customers.
For example, some companies offer free shipping on every order or free shipping with an order of $35 or more. Don't get caught up in the hype of YL. This company is all about taking your money and giving you little in return. Here are some examples of my experience with YL in the past 5 months.
First, I ordered a starter kit with a diffuser that was made of cheap plastic and broke just 3 weeks later. Second, I ordered a subscription to save $50 plus an additional order of $100. I got free shipping and was able to earn $5 rewards points. However, the next month, I ordered $50 via subscription and they charged me $7 for shipping on top of that plus taxes. It came out to be like $63 by the time it was all said and done. They did not give me credit on my account for consecutive months and did not give me rewards points for that subscription order. When I contacted customer service, it took forever to get someone on chat and then the YL employee was asking me all these questions to prove my identity before she could answer any questions I had. This process of verifying my identity took about 30 minutes. Finally, I was able to ask my question and she said she would fix my account and update it in the system. For a couple of days it was correct in the system, then my rewards points went back to zero and I had credit for zero consecutive months of subscription.
Third, I placed my third $50+ subscription order during their Black Friday week sale. I was not able to get the oils I purchased on subscription for the Black Friday discount even though they were 30% off that same day. I had to pay full price for them. I also placed a "one time order" at the same time so I could get some of the oils on sale. I spent $80. $80+ $50=$130. I should have qualified for free shipping but the non-customer friendly YL website charged me $7 shipping for the $50 order and $7 shipping for the $80 order. $14 to ship like 5 oils via the US postal service regular ground shipping. When I called customer service, they told me that the "subscription" and "one time" orders cannot be combined even if done at the same time. I said okay, but I still spent over the $100 minimum to get free shipping so can you please waive the shipping. She had to talk to her manager. She comes back and says "I cannot waive the shipping charge, I can either give you a $12 credit to your account or add $20 to your account." Sounds very shady to me.
By the way, I ordered 14 days ago and both orders happen to have the exact same USPS tracking number. According to the tracking info, both orders are still awaiting arrival at a USPS facility. I ordered oils from another company 2 days ago, received free shipping (also shipped by USPS) and according to the tracking info on that order, I'm receiving it this week on Thursday. Not sure where my $130+ $14 shipping YL order is or when it will arrive. I really now believe YL is a scam to nickel and dime its customers for each little thing and cut corners when possible. Oh, I asked for my reward points to be updated for September and October because they didn't automatically update. I'm pretty sure now my November subscription points are not showing correctly on my account. Too many issues to be a fluke. I smell a scam. I have not had any issues whatsoever with the other essential oil companies I purchase from. If you're searching, I recommend Eden's garden, Plant Therapy, Revive, and Jade Bloom over YL.

I noticed that the amount of unused credit in my account was less than what I originally received
I noticed that the amount of unused credit in my account was less than what I originally received. I contacted member services and they informed me that it was a commission adjustment and advised me to contact the treasury department. So I did. Initially, they responded and stated that they cannot deduct credit without my approval (even though they did initially) and that they would deduct it from my next commission. Alright, but where is my account credit then? Why did they deduct it initially? I asked if the balance was paid and they said NO? Seriously? Where is my credit? I requested them to simply use the credit. I have actually sent them 6 emails and they have not responded. I can see that they deducted it from my account credit and my commission, they deducted it twice! I am angry. I had originally planned to use that credit for the holiday launch. Then I noticed it was gone and had to deal with all of this. Now everything is out of stock. I have screenshots, all my emails, and documentation of all the money they took. Why would they say the adjustment is not paid but still deduct my credit? And then deduct the money again from my commission? They are cheaters! Below is the 6th or 7th email I sent them with no response again! I REALLY WANT AN ANSWER ABOUT MY COMMISSION AND ACCOUNT CREDIT! AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY NO ONE CAN ANSWER? THERE WAS A COMMISSION ADJUSTMENT THAT WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT CREDIT! I HAD TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW WHY THE CREDIT WAS LESS WHEN I DIDN'T SPEND IT! Then I had to email you! And I was informed that there were returns, so I had to pay some of the commission back! Okay, I thought you already deducted it from the credit? AND THEN I WAS TOLD THAT THE ADJUSTMENT WAS NOT PAID?!?! UM WHAT? I thought you deducted it from the credit? If not, WHY IS MY CREDIT GONE? I THOUGHT YOU COULDN'T DEDUCT IT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, BUT YOU DID ANYWAY INITIALLY! I DIDN'T HAVE THE FULL CREDIT AMOUNT TO SPEND, SO WHY WASN'T THE ADJUSTMENT PAID? You really messed up my holiday shopping because I planned to spend that. And then when I said fine, use the credit, you didn't? AND YOU SAID IT WOULD BE DEDUCTED FROM MY NEXT COMMISSION? Okay, THEN WHERE IS MY FULL ACCOUNT CREDIT? YOU GUYS ARE TRYING TO TRICK ME AND NO ONE CAN RESPOND! I DEMAND A PHONE CALL BACK! Like immediately! DON'T YOU HAVE A JOB TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS ABOUT THESE THINGS? I HAVE SENT OVER 6 EMAILS WITH NO RESPONSE! WHAT THE HECK. Regards, [Your Name]
I paid an annual fee to Young Living so I could order their products for my personal use. I was never able to place orders through their website, but had to call and place them, which is too much trouble. I wanted to make sure that the membership would not auto-renew, as often happens, but have not had any luck.
I placed an order with the company. I paid by credit card. My credit card was charged and the items were shipped. I went to my profile to delete my credit card information since the transaction is complete. It wont delete because it says an active transaction is in progress. I contacted their customer service because as far as Im concerned the credit card transaction is complete. They told me that their system cant delete credit card information for *** a refund is necessary. If I refund is necessary, I can provide my information again. Im not comfortable leaving my credit card information on their site for 90 days. I was told their IT department is in charge of the website. If they put a 90 day parameter on there, they can remove it and delete my card. I was told that couldnt speak with anyone higher than the person I spoke to at customer service. If I knew they would hold on to my credit card information for so long, I wouldnt have placed an order. I just want my credit card information removed immediately from their site. Thank you.
Good afternoon, In mid-January, I had canceled any subscriptions I had with Young Living (YLEO). It showed they were canceled. When I saw a charge on 2/6/22 on my AmEx for $142.04 from YLEO, I was thoroughly confused. I hadn't placed any order and had cancelled any and all subscriptions, so I shouldn't have had any charges! I emailed their customer service immediately on 2/6/22, letting them know I did not authorize this and that I had turned off all automatic renewals. On 2/7/22, at approximately 5pm, I also called them because I had not gotten a response to my email. After a VERY long time on the phone with them, they told me their system had been having some problems and that was probably why the cancellation didn't go through. They sent me a couple emails, stating that once I received the package (they stated they could NOT cancel the order so it wouldn't ship...this didn't make sense to me!), to send it back and I would receive a refund. They sent a confirmation number. They also said in an email that they would waive all fees associated with the return (Dangaran was the rep's name who sent that). In a third email, they sent the 'shipping return label.' I received the order several weeks later and then returned it a few days after that (2/26/22), at which point I received an email from them stating they had received my return in transit and that I should receive my refund within a specified number of days. On 3/15 I emailed them, inquiring about my refund. No reply. On 3/16 I called and spoke to Jam. She said I'd receive my refund within 1-3 business days. Obviously, at this point, it's been 7 business days. This is not the first problem I've had with YLEO, but it will be the last, as I will never do business with them again. Please help me get my refund! I spoke to my AmEx yesterday, but surprisingly, their customer service was HORRIBLE and they were no help. Please help!
Review: Young Living Essential Oils - High-Quality Products with Questionable Ethics
When I first heard about Young Living Essential Oils, I was excited to try them out. I had heard so many good things about the benefits of using essential oils, and I was eager to see if they could help me with my health and wellness goals. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I started to do some research about the company.
As I dug deeper, I discovered that the founder of Young Living, Garry Young, had a questionable past. He had been charged with fraud for pretending to be a doctor, and he had also been investigated for manslaughter after his newborn baby died during an alternative birthing method. These revelations made me hesitant to trust the company, but I had already invested a lot of time and money into it, so I decided to give it a chance.
Unfortunately, my experience with Young Living only confirmed my suspicions. I encountered some dodgy behavior that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. Despite my initial hopes, I can't say that I would recommend this company to others.
That being said, I do think that there are some good things about Young Living. Their essential oils are high-quality and effective, and they offer a wide range of products that can be helpful for a variety of health concerns. Additionally, the company has made some efforts to improve their practices and distance themselves from Garry Young's controversial past.
However, I still have some concerns about the company's ethics and transparency. It's important to me that the companies I support are honest and upfront about their practices, and I'm not sure that Young Living meets those standards. Additionally, I think that there are other essential oil companies out there that are just as good (if not better) than Young Living, and that don't have the same questionable history.
Overall, I would say that if you're considering using Young Living Essential Oils, it's important to do your own research and make an informed decision. While there are certainly some benefits to using their products, there are also some concerns that should be taken into account. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide whether or not Young Living is the right choice for you.
Customer Service Lacking at Young Living Essential Oils: Review
I've been a member of Young Living Essential Oils since 2015 and while I may not be a big spender, I have been consistently purchasing their products. Recently, I wanted to use my reward points to place an order, but to my surprise, I couldn't use them because my last order was $4 short of the minimum requirement. This was due to the fact that one of the products I ordered was out of stock, which was not my fault.
Now, I'm in a bit of a predicament. I either have to spend more money by moving up my order for this month or wait until the end of the month to use my reward points. I understand that rules are necessary to effectively run a company, but when they become so strict that customer service is thrown out the window, that's a problem. It's a shame because the oils themselves are great, but the company seems to have lost sight of what customer service truly means.
Overall, I hope that Young Living Essential Oils can take a step back and reevaluate their policies to ensure that their customers are being treated fairly and with respect. As a loyal member, I would hate to have to take my business elsewhere because of a lack of customer service.

Mixed Feelings: A Review of Young Living Essential Oils' Quality vs. Customer Service & Shipping
I've been using Young Living Essential Oils for a couple of years now and I gotta say, I'm in love with their oils. They're just amazing! I've never had any issues with the quality of the oils or the packaging. They always arrive in perfect condition and I'm always excited to try out new scents.
However, I've had some repeated issues with their customer service and shipping. It's been a bit of a hassle, to be honest. My last subscription took over a month to be delivered and to make matters worse, they sent it to the wrong address. It was sent to my PO BOX, which I have no way of getting to. So, they sent me a "replacement" package, but I'm not too hopeful that it will arrive at the right spot.
What's even more frustrating is that they don't do refunds. So, I'm pretty sure I'll be out another $100. I was supposed to be refunded for an incorrect order a couple of months ago, but it hasn't appeared on my bank statements yet. It's just a bit disappointing, you know?
Despite all of this, I still really love Young Living Essential Oils. Their oils are just too good to pass up. But, I do wish their customer service reps were a bit more helpful. Every month, I feel like I'm giving them a second chance. Hopefully, they can improve their customer service and shipping in the future.
Captivating and Emotional: A Review of The Kite Runner
I have never been so excited and then let down by a company in my life! They are LIARS, you can't return anything without a fine or penalty. Best part without you knowing they change your status so that you are unable to chat or call with a complaint. I'm packaging EVERY single item I have open/unopened and returning. Calling my bank and reporting fraud as these products are not marketed as stated and it's a total SCAM. $600 in oils is unheard of, I don't give a flying F how good they "good" "natural" "pure" they are. When I lived in London and ordered from Neal's Yard, 1st they were 1/50 the price, pure and there wasn't a hidden membership. MLM schemes are what they are schemes and thieves! I will loose a friend over this, however I'm so mad at this point I don't even give a rat's a. THIS IS BEYOND SCAM!
Disappointing Changes to Young Living Essential Oils Rewards Program: A Customer's Review
When I first got into Young Living Essential Oils, I was really excited about all the cool stuff they had going on. They had some really sweet perks to get you hooked into their rewards program, and I was all about it. But over the past couple of years, things have really gone downhill.
For one thing, they used to send out all kinds of cool stuff in their rewards program. But now, all you get is a newsletter. And you can't even opt out of it! What's up with that? I mean, I'm all for being environmentally friendly, but if I don't want a newsletter cluttering up my inbox, I should be able to say no, right?
And then there's the whole delivery date thing. They tell you that you can switch your delivery dates to get your order early, but what they don't tell you is that you can NEVER switch it back. Apparently, they're just too busy to deal with that kind of thing. And that's not even the worst part.
You earn points for buying stuff, which is cool. But you can't use those points on a lot of the oils, and you can't use them with your ER Rewards. So basically, they're just a way to get you to spend more money. And don't even get me started on the shipping. You have to pay for it, even though that's not very environmentally friendly. It's like they're just trying to make more money off of us.
I talked to customer service about all this, and they told me that they're getting tons of complaints. They don't even agree with the changes that are being made! So why are they doing it? It's just not worth the hassle anymore.
Honestly, I would recommend using Doterra instead. They're way more customer-friendly, and they actually care about their customers. So if you're looking for essential oils, go with them instead.
Disappointing Experience with Young Living Essential Oils: Feather the Owl Diffuser and Customer Service
I recently got a Feather the Owl diffuser from Young Living Essential Oils as a present for my son. He was over the moon with it and used it every day for about two weeks. However, after that, the sounds stopped working. I was really disappointed and decided to contact customer service to see if they could help me troubleshoot or replace it.
I spoke to a customer service representative named Jade S. and unfortunately, the experience was not great. She told me that since it was a gift, there was nothing I could do about exchanging it. I was really hoping she could help me figure out why it stopped working, but she just kept repeating that I may need a new diffuser or new parts, but I couldn't do any of that, even though it has a one-year warranty.
I was really frustrated with the whole experience and felt like I had wasted my time and money on a product that only worked for two weeks. I would not recommend this product to anyone who wants to avoid disappointment. The customer service rep, Jade S., was completely incompetent and didn't seem to care about helping me out.
Overall, my experience with Young Living Essential Oils has been horrible. I would advise anyone thinking of buying from them to think twice. The product may work for a short time, but if it breaks, don't expect any help from customer service. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your essential oil needs.
Review: Young Living Essential Oils - Are They Worth the Hype?
I gotta say, I was pretty bummed out when I found out that Young Living Essential Oils had phtalates and PEG ingredients in their lavender shampoo and conditioner. But, they told me that they're changing the formula now, so that's good news. They said they're being careful not to go over the acceptable levels for these ingredients, but I don't know if I trust that. I mean, they have a lot of products and I don't think they have enough money to test all of them. It's kinda sketchy, you know?
Anyway, I think there are other brands out there that are more professional and maybe even more effective than Young Living. And they might be cheaper too! I'm not talking about the stuff you find at the grocery store, though. You gotta do your research and find the good stuff.
Don't get me wrong, some of Young Living's products are really good. But some of them are way too expensive because of the pyramid scheme they have going on. I mean, they gotta pay all those people down the pyramid somehow, right?
So, my advice is to not just stick with Young Living. There are other options out there that might be better for you. Don't be fooled by the hype!
Review: Young Living Essential Oils - Quality Products, Misleading Marketing Tactics
Young Living Essential Oils are of great quality, but they use some marketing tactics that are not entirely truthful. They claim to be "From Seed to Seal," which is a way to make people believe that they are the only company that produces oils from start to finish. However, this is not true, as other companies also use this method.
Another thing that Young Living does is label their oils with terms like "Therapeutic Grade." These terms are not authorized by any regulating agency, so they are not necessarily accurate. It seems like they use these terms to justify their high prices, which can be a bit outrageous.
However, there are other companies that sell essential oils that are just as good as Young Living's, but at a much lower price. I personally shop for my oils from a company that has been around much longer than Young Living. This company allows their products to be purchased directly from them, which eliminates the extra markup prices of retail. They also avoid the Multi-Level Marking cost add-ons by distributing without going through that MLM system.
Overall, Young Living Essential Oils are of great quality, but their marketing tactics can be a bit misleading. It's important to do your research and find a company that you trust and that offers high-quality oils at a fair price.
Disappointed with Young Living Essential Oils: MLM Scheme with Shipping Issues
I was a faithful member of Young Living Essential Oils for over a year. I was hooked into their monthly mandatory $50 order, but eventually, I realized that I didn't need to spend that much money on oils every month. However, I still kept ordering their ninjax drink, which I really liked. But for the last two months, I've been having shipping issues with them. They charged me $20 for expedited shipping, but my drinks arrived two weeks later. And for April, I didn't even receive my order. I checked the UPS tracking, but it never picked it up. Every time I called YL, they gave me the runaround and didn't know what happened. I spent three days on the phone trying to get my money back, but it was a waste of time. I finally had to dispute with my bank and block any charges from YL!
I think you can easily find products that are just as good, if not better, elsewhere. They are cheaper, and shipping is usually free or much lower. No other company traps you into this pyramid scheme! They brainwash you into thinking you can make money, but you can't. The only way you can make money is by spending your own money each month and trying to trap others into buying this stuff monthly. Once people realize what's going on, they drop off, and you're stuck!
I'm really disappointed with Young Living Essential Oils. I thought they were a reputable company, but they're just another MLM scheme. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Save your money and find a better company that doesn't trap you into buying their products every month.
Disappointed with Young Living Diffuser: Overpriced and Poor Quality
I recently bought a Young Living diffuser and oil set for my wife as a Christmas gift. It cost me a whopping $170, but I thought it would be worth it to see her happy. She set it up right away and used it for about 8 days before it started leaking water all over her nightstand. I was pretty disappointed, but I took it back to the consultant I bought it from and hoped for the best.
It's been over 3 months now and I still haven't received a replacement diffuser. In the meantime, I've bought 3 different off-brand diffusers from other stores for a total of $85 and they all work perfectly fine. I'm starting to regret spending so much money on the Young Living one.
I've called the Young Living customer service number multiple times, but every time I get the same answer - "This needs to be handled with the person you purchased it from!" It's frustrating because I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. The customer service operators don't seem to have any helpful answers and I'm left feeling like my money was wasted.
I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of the Young Living diffuser. It feels cheaply made and overpriced. And now that it's broken, it's basically useless. The consultants are nice people and they do a great job when everything is going smoothly, but as soon as there's a problem, they become just as useless as the customer service operators.
I've been told that new parts for our Young Living diffuser will be in soon and I should have it back in no time. I'm hoping that's true, but I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime, I'll stick with my off-brand diffusers that work just fine.

to resolutions
To whom it may concern,
I saw Derek "my son" was off of my organization on my virtual office.
I am so disappointed in the last two customer service representatives I had the displeasure to speak with.I spoke with one, I did not get her name, using my sons member number #365478. It is my son's account and due to Covid he is unemployed and was trying to keep his account open and place an order. He was not aware of the $50 PV needed to keep his account open and active so he placed a smaller amount by ordering Tea Tree. I hope someone will listen to the agents tone and attitude toward not helping us.
I called back to ask for a supervisor and had the displeasure of speaking with Natasha, again she was very passive aggressive and smartelec and did not resolve the issue I wanted to help my son with. therefore he is not reordering and YL has lost a customer and I lost one too. How sad that customer service has stooped so low and caused even more unpleasantry during such financially hard times. Again I hope someone evaluates these two conversations and makes the appropriated repremends to this two "undeserving to work for YL that represent us" women.
Natasha would not elevate my urge to speak with someone above her and was mockingly using and reading responses with attitude and is a poor representative supervisor for what YL should be.
Thank you for your time and resolution of this concern for me and any others that may have to deal with these two women.
Respectfully,
Cheryl Luttrull
customer service
I placed an order over the ph on 10-10-18... Spoke with iris... B4 completing my order I distinctly asked her for total amount of $ that would be charged to my account. Amount of $80.57 was my total... Next day im checking my banking account online & find out I was double charged! Iv called yl two times regarding this matter.. Still waiting for reimbursement! Why would yl customer service not contact me as soon as they realized they had double charged me?!? The agent that placed order for me apparently left notes attached to my file regarding double charge... Why did she not call me back immediately?!? Come to find out yl did exact same thing to my daughter whom is also a yl member... My member #[protected]. Obviously I am not the 1st customer to experience this!
oils
I bought some oils from Young Living and at the beginning everything seemed to be fine, but later I felt that I have this strange feeling, like if my skin was burning, and that happened every time when I used their oils.
Later when I went to see my doctor I was told that I had an allergy and it was strictly forbidden for me to use these oils.
I contacted Young Living and explained the situation but they said that there was nothing they could do and also said that they don't do refunds. I was very disappointed and they really did not care about me and my problem. All that happened only because there was something wrong with their products! Terrible company!
no responses to emails
I have emailed the company regarding questions about products or wanted to purchase the products. There was someone replying me in the beginning. However lately, despite emailing a few times, there is no reply and no apologies for any late responses. I have waited for a couple of weeks and called in. The service officer mentioned that they do rotating shifts in email, however, I do not understand why there is no replying although emailing a few times and waiting for the reply. I cannot tolerate such bad customer service when we are purchasing the products.
I received an award letter stating that I won 2million dollars and i can choose from two options to get it. I googled it and I found a lot of people have the same complaint. I don't want anyone else to get swindled with this.
