Zillow review: Website

Have used Zillow in the past to advertise my rental property. Have always had a problem editing any information. You edit and save leave site, return to site and edits do not appear, same old info you tried

to get rid of is still there. zillow has kept the same wrong phone number on my rental listing for years, even though I have tried and tried and tried to edit it. Makes me look like a scammer to any potential tenant that uses that number to try to reach me. zillowites say it is not viewable by the public, but that is untrue, when I go on site to the public view-there smacking me in the face is the wrong number. Sending emails for assistance is like talking to the wall. I have had no luck whatsoever from the non-helpful customer service.

July 2022 reactivated my rental address ad to re-rent the property. Again, tried to correct old information-pictures, outdated information about the property etc. Again, go to area on site where editing is supposed to be available, edit to new info, save, continue to next item to edit, same procedure. Exit site, go back into site to check the edits and sure enough-all the old pictures are still there along with the old information I tried to edit. Emailing customer service is a waste of time, either send you links to “help” (not helpful) or never answer the question or solve the problem.

August 2022

Sent email to [protected]@zillow.zendesk.com telling them the account would be deactivated and I wished for them to remove all info about my property as I would not be doing business with them going forward and did not want my property shown on their site from this day on. They ignored the email, no reply. Thought I had removed all the info I could. Showed all info and pix removed prior to me saving and exiting the site. Because I do not trust zillow, I went back onto the site and sure enough every single pic and every single description wrong ones and all are still showing on their site. Arrrrrrrrrgh I deactivated the account as you are supposed to do to keep it out of the actively available properties and now because it is deactivated, I cannot access the account at all.

What does it take to have zillow remove every single tidbit about my property. I do not want any information about my property on their site, not the address no pictures, no price, no description, no value, not owners name, no nothing. No exceptions! Remove everything I ever posted about my property and especially the picture I provided of the front of the house. zillow does not have my permission to use it beyond today when I tried to delete it. I am complaining here and have also drafted a letter the AGs of both Washington state to corporate headquarters and KY were the property is located. It is exceedingly unethical for zillow to use my information when I have done everything I can to stop it and have sent written notices to cease. I will also complain on every complaint site I can find so the public will know about zillow’s unscrupulous practice of not allowing a previous customer to delete the entire account from the zillow.com site. I will complain to the CPS in DC as well. Enough is enough and I want the public to know to use any site other than zillow to advertise property for rent or sale.
