The biz lost 5 items of dry cleaning from Sept 24th 2022, includin' 2 brand new dresses and 3 work tops. Lotsa phone calls and emails have gone unanswered. No one is takin' responsibility for losin' items.

Dry cleaning lost my clothes. When I went to pick up my clothes, the receipt said 8 articles of clothing. The worker gave me 3 and didn't say anything about the other 5. I asked where the others were and he said they were in the back because there are missing items. I was never called to be advised of this. I asked for a phone number of the owner or manager and was told no. I asked where my missing clothes could be and was treated so poorly. I was dropping off clothes also and asked to have my clothes back that I just dropped off. I can't afford to have them lose more clothes without any explanation at all. I noticed on Yelp there are many reviews that also state that clothes are missing. This is poor customer service and I would like either my clothes back or to get reimbursed for the loss.

I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of response and accountability from Zips is unacceptable. I trusted them with my clothing and they failed to deliver on their promise of providing quality service. The fact that my shirt was returned in such a damaged state shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

I have been patient and understanding throughout this process, but my patience is wearing thin. I paid a significant amount of money for this shirt and I expect to be compensated for the damage caused by Zips. It's not just about the money, it's about the principle. Businesses should take responsibility for their mistakes and make things right for their customers.

I urge anyone considering using Zips dry cleaners to think twice. The lack of professionalism and customer service is evident in my experience. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and find a different dry cleaner that values their customers and takes pride in their work.

March 1, 2022 - I dropped off 5 valances to be dry cleaned at Zips Dry Cleaners. The valances are made of rayon and acetate, and the label clearly says to dry clean only. March 5, 2022 - I picked up my order and noticed that they looked different. Before opening the packaging, they seemed limp. The receipt was marked DRY CLEAN.March 10, 2022 - When my daughters and I opened the packaging to hang the valances, we realized that they had not been dry cleaned. Something else had been done to them, and they were ruined. I called Zips (Parmer Lane location) to inform them about the situation and also sent an email. However, I received no reply to either.March 14, 2022 - I took the ruined valances and one of my good ones to the store. When I entered, two employees seemed to know all about it and mentioned that the manager was aware too. They said they would take the ruined valances to their south location for their production manager to assess the damage. They assured me that I would hear from ***, the manager, within a few days. I left them my receipt, ruined valances, and good valance as evidence. I trusted them too much!March 22, 2022 - I hadn't heard anything from the manager, so my daughter called to discuss the situation. *** answered and promised to check on it and call her back in the morning.March 23, 2022 - *** didn't call, so my daughter called again and asked for the OWNERS name and number. *** said they don't give out that information. She told him that this has been going on for too long and we want the valances to be replaced. *** called later and said they would send me an email explaining the steps they are taking to resolve this issue. However, I never received an email or any communication from Zips. Now, I am seeking help from the ComplaintsBoard.com to resolve this situation. The valances, at today's price, cost $40 each.
