On 11/1/2022 I bought 5 pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses through an Instagram ad. It was advertised as 75% off. I own 2 pairs of Maui Jim’s that I bought from my eye doctor previously so I had something to compare it with. When the glasses arrived in a haphazard package and smashed boxes, I knew it was a sham. First, it was not the glasses I ordered and second, they were not Maui Jim’s. It is so cheaply made and I am disgusted not just with myself for falling for this sham, but with a company that does this to people.
Desired outcome: I want my money back. But if they can be put out of business that would save a lot of people from the grief I’ve experienced.
