Nightmare
My name is Kymberly Ruff and I placed an order on your website today November 8th, 2022 at approximately 1pm PST. Immediately after the order I received a confirmation email for my order, but the delivery address listed on my order was incorrect. The address that I entered for delivery is 921 185th Street Court E Spanaway, WA 98387. I called immediately after placing my order to change the address to the above address because the one listed on my receipt was 2916 Forest Rim Ct S Puyallup, WA 98374, and I don't know anybody at this address. The agent I spoke with changed it to the correct address and repeated it back to me three times. Three hours later I received a text that said my order was delivered. This order is for my Grandmother's 80th birthday, which is why I paid extra to have them delivered today. I called my Grandma but she had not received the flowers. At that time, I reached out to your customer service team via text. I explained what happened and the agent was rude, aggressive, and called me a liar. She said that I had never called in and spoke with somebody to correct the address and that she couldn't send out replacement flowers until tomorrow. I told her that I do not accept that because the address discrepancy was not my fault, and I literally called 30 seconds after the order was placed. I paid extra to have these flowers delivered today for my Grandmas 80th Birthday and due to a glitch in your system the order was delivered to the wrong address. I asked her to please send out a replacement for today, which is when she became aggressive and called me a liar. I then called your customer service line and explained to the agent everything that had happened and requested a manager. She kept telling me she wouldn't help me because another agent had already spoke with me. She clearly did not want to help me. I then explained how the agent treated me via text and told her that I wanted to speak with a supervisor. She would put me on hold for a few minutes then tell me it would be an hour, then two hours, then she said her supervisor would call me back. I told her that I would prefer to wait on hold for a supervisor, and she kept increasing the amount of time the hold would be to talk to a supervisor desperately trying to get off the phone with me, despite my clear requests. She then told me a supervisor would call me back, and I refused another three times and insisted I wait on hold. I even said please do not hang up on me! She came back and then told me a supervisor would call me back and then she hung up on me! I have never been treated so absolutely terrible by any company in my entire life. I was just trying to send my Grandma flowers for her 80th birthday and nobody would help me. I then called your customer service number again (1-800-FLOWERS) and asked for a supervisor and refused to give my information because of how I was treated thus far. I was connected to a supervisor who was the first person in 5 hours that would even attempt to help me! Keep in mind, this is for an almost one-hundred-dollar order for flowers! She attempted to change the delivery date back to today, and even reached out to the florist for me. She showed a little bit of compassion and actually tried to help me. I would be happy to provide the text conversation with the second agent I spoke with that called me a liar. It's absolutely awful. I would also encourage you to listen to any calls recorded from my cell phone number [protected]. I just wanted my Grandma to get her flowers today, on her birthday, and that didn't happen. If I owned 1-800-FLOWERS I wouldn't want these employees representing my company in any way. There's probably nothing that can be done about my Grandma getting her flowers tonight, but in the least I would like a phone call back from somebody at corporate tomorrow, November 9th, 2022. I would like an apology from the agent that called me a liar and the one that hung up on me. Nobody should be able to treat somebody that way. It was extremely disrespectful. I also would like a refund after spending hours on the phone/texting trying to get somebody to even help me. I had to withhold my information for somebody to help me. If that's not discrimination I don't know what is.

Order #: W01005833080578
Desired outcome: I would like my Grandmas flowers to be delivered today November 8th, 2022.
I just want a full refund and an apology for what happened.
I ordered a flower arrangement for a funeral to be delivered on 10/28/2022. I received a confirmation email stating that the flowers were delivered. I arrived at the funeral and the flowers weren't there. I called the mortuary for delivery confirmation, and I was told the flowers were never delivered. I called 1-800flowers.com to speak to customer service and was first told that the flowers were delivered. I called the mortuary office back and was told that they did not get a flower delivery that day for the deceased. They told me that flowers are signed for and/or pictures are taken to confirm delivery. I called 1-800Flowers back and was then told there was a problem with the florist and the flowers weren't delivered. The customer service representative offered to call the family and apologize, and then she offered me a partial refund for not providing the service I paid for. After I got upset, she offered a full refund and told me I'd get an email about the refund in 24 hours. 11/05/2022, Seven days later I had to call to make sure the refund was processed and request an email again. I am so disappointed and mortified that a company as big as 1-800Flowers would intentionally send a deceitful email confirming delivery of something that never happened during my time of bereavement and then try to charge me for a service they never provided.
Late or lost deliveries with false promises of refunds / discounts
I have had multiple RECORDED incidents, 10/20/20, 05/02/22, and today 10/31/22. All late deliveries or straight up undelivered. I have had a few prior to 2020 but handled those over the phone and no record. Luckily I started using their chat service and keeping the chat log. So the events are all the same. Place an order, the order either arrives days late or doesn’t arrive at all. I get in touch with customer service. They promise 50% off the order and a $20 savings towards a future order. It never happens. Today just sent me over the edge. I explained the issue of a late delivery (3 days past due) and so they basically say we have to reorder and redeliver…. well I get the song and dance of the discount and the $20 savings pass and I immediately respond that I have always been promised but never received these refunds and savings. They look back and say we have no record of past issues…well, I have the chat logs so I pull the dates and the conversation goes to the effect that we can process another $20 savings but nothing else. Ok, look, any promises you make don’t mean anything. Well, I am asked to look at my order history for the dates that I had the issues. So I go into my account and I have 3 orders. Total. From 8/2/22 to present. I have been a customer making orders for over a decade. Suddenly I am making a formal complaint and my order history disappears. And the company that has access to MY account is asking me to provide the data of my orders. That’s shady already. Well, as said, luckily, I have the chat logs. So I am able to provide dates and order numbers which they confirm and relay that there is nothing showing any issues on any of the orders. Even though I have the chat log proof.., pretty much told me I was out of luck. Too bad so sad.
Desired outcome: Promised 50% refunds from the first 2 orders, the $60 in total savings promised on the three orders, and a sincere apology from their management, public acknowledgment of their known and consistent defrauding of their customers.
a dish garden not delivered on the date to be delivered
I ordered a dish garden on sept 13 , to be delivered sept 16 for a memorial service. The service was held sat sept. 17 at zip code 07840.
Order number W01005827281052. I never received any notice when ordered or after of a delivery problem. I called sept 16 to check on delivery and was told this will be delivered monday sept 19. This order is being delivered by fed ex. tracking # [protected]. If I knew of this delivery by fed ex and not one or your own vans I would not have placed order.
So now not only is the delivery too late the plant is sitting in a fed ex truck. What condition will this plant be in?
order was placed by J. Karecki and J. Klein.
It really is too late to resolve problem just to make sure it is delivered monday! Also there should be notification when ordering of delivery status.
Thank you, JoAnn Karecki
flowers ordered and not delivered- and I was not told
I placed an online order for an employee's retirement- order placed day before at 5:30 PM for delivery next day (her last day of work). I am waiting for notification that they had been delivered the following day- I call customer service at 5:30 that day to be told "they are out for delivery and will be delivered by 8;00 PM"- a bit late in the day but OK. I follow up the next day to confirm receipt (since I had not received text) at 12:00 Noon (this is the day after they were supposed to have been delivered)- I am told again that they are "out for delivery". I call back at 8:00 THAT NIGHT- and am finally told that no florist in the city was willing to accept the delivery order !
So I ordered online, and order accepted, and credit card charged. I call to follow up twice and were lied to each time by their out of country 'customer service' who's standard answer appears to be ' they are on the truck to be delivered".
I call back a third time- only to finally be advised that 1 800 flowers cannot get them delivered- but of course this is the day after they were supposed to have been there, I need to order again from an ACTUAL FLORIST.
Save yourself the trouble and embarrassment I have had- and just locate and order from a local florist- so your order may actually arive.
Desired outcome: That 1 800 Flowers goes out of business. I will share my bad experience with as many sites as I can list it- and hopefully save other people the same issues.
late delivery & wrong card with flowers
Order # [protected] August 11,2022
Flowers for my daughter's birthday delivered to her work so late in the day & the card attached was for a death in someone's family. I was in utter shock when she informed me of the card that was attached. I am the Dad that makes the day extra special & now I feel as if I failed. Such a joyous day for my daughter turns into a sour moment. Receiving the flowers so late in the day & that card attached definitely put her in a bad spot for the remainder of the evening. Called & emailed the Winter Park location with no response. I am involved with many businesses in Winter Park & I am holding back from informing anyone of the situation until I feel I can get some closure.
Desired outcome: total reimbursement
Called three times to resolve an issue.
August of 2022.
The order was incomplete before finished. Never received a receipt. Called within the 15 minute grace period to cancel. Operator told me she was not authorized to cancel order and told me to call after 8am. Second call, after 8 am, told it was a weekend and no one could help until Monday. Called a provided 866 number on Monday. After several moments of negotiating, I was told my order was canceled, however, a receipt was not ready but would be emailed to me later in the day. The employee would not or could not provide a tracking/event number for the supposed refund. Disputting charges with cc company.
Desired outcome: Waiting
we ordered flowers for furenal not deleivered
A passing of out of town family member , ordered arrangement on saturday7/29 am for sunday funeral 7/31 received phone call 1 hour before delivery saying cant have delivery until monday ! NOT ACCEPTABLE ! order went through with no red flags , then not even given any time to find someone else . I can not beleive that this is allowed to happen much less told oh we will give you a % off it will just be a day late! i WILL MAKE SURE ANYONE I KNOW WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
Extremely poor customer service and business practices
Poor customer service to resolve an issue of a missed delivery. An order/arrangement was supposed to be delivered on a Tuesday. It was late according to the tracking service and due to be delivered the next day. On the tracking service (fedex) it was ‘delivered’ but no delivery to be found. I called and another order was put in its place to make up for the first. When I called on the day of the delivery on the 2nd shipment, I was told that my order was put on hold (!). I asked for a refund due to the lack of confidence in 1-800-flowers business practices. They tried to offer me a 3rd arrangement (what?!) but I refused their offer to save myself the trouble with another missing or late shipment.
Today, MONDAY (6 days later) the DEAD flowers/arrangement was delivered. See pictures if the horrific dead flowers.
Desired outcome: Reset the business mission to make customers happy with good business practices and deliver promises made for the expensive cost us customers pay for.
Constant pushing of political views
Please stick with selling flowers and gifts and stop with the political statements and asking us to donate to your causes.
Or maybe start promoting things all of your customers can get behind.
Got the message that my complaint is too short to be published - that's a first :).
I just want to see pretty flowers and gifts without having to be bombarded with your political views that I have to watch/listen to every day elsewhere.
Be a respite from the political stuff - please.
Desired outcome: stop the political ads on the website and in emails
Extremaly Disapointed
Sent sympathy flowers, paid extra for same day delivery. Placed order at 06:58 am, got notification at 3:19 pm that the arrangement was delivered. I called the recipient and she never received them. Called 1800flowers, not sure what country I was calling, very poor reception could vaguely understand the person. She put me on hold to contact the florist, after about a minute I was told they have up to 8 pm to deliver the flowers and they will contact the florist and let me know. I asked why would 1800flowrrs send out a delivery notification and not being delivered? Very poor business operation.
At 8:15 pm I called again and once again not sure what country I was calling, I want to say Malaysia (not sure) and one again very hard to understand the person, she was very apologetic and once again going to contact the florist and in the meantime the flower recipient called me and stated the arrangement was delivered and she thought the driver was possibly drunk/high.
The first picture is what was sent and the second is what it was suppose to look like.
I would not recommend 1800flowers. Never again!
The sympathy arrangement my sister received is not what ordered
I place an order for the European plant arrangement on June the 2nd for delivery on June 3rd. The customer service and delivery was great but what my sister received was not what I ordered I paid 81.00 for the medium plant arrangement and it looks like the small arrangement. There seen to be at least 8 different plants and yellow flowers. The bow is over powering the basket That is not what I paid for.
charming rose garden - small product number: 101827sn
My aunt was so happy to receive her plant (a gift from me) It arrived on 05/18/2022 as expected. However this is what has happed to it in the space of under two weeks. Apparently along with the rose plant were some bugs that totally destroyed it. She kept calling me saying she didn’t know what was happening and that she noticed that leaves were falling off daily. Finally she noticed that “tiny little yellow bugs” were on the few remaining leaves. I am positive these insects were already on the plant when it was delivered to her. My question to you is, how is your company going to rectify the situation?
By the way I had issue with my Mother’s Day order to to mother also, but this is my biggest issues.
Anyway, I expect nothing less than a full financial refund or a replacement to my aunty. If this is not rectified to my satisfaction in a timely manner, I will report this situation to BBB but also share my story (with pictures) on social media.
Please make this right.

Desired outcome: I expect your company to make this right…- Full financial refund or - Replacement sent to my aunt,
You stole my money on mother's day
Disgraceful. I ordered flowers that were never delivered. To my Mom. On Mother's Day. You are completely disreputable and I am telling everyone I can about your shady business. Others are too, it is becoming known, but not fast enough. Why are you not in prison?
Billing
I placed an online order on 5/2 for Mother’s Day chocolates and cookies. The order had gone through without a chance for me to apply my coupon code 25% off (VUP25). I called 1800flowers soon after the order was placed and explained to the rep what had happened. They said they would credit my pay pal account. I have yet to see the discount after numerous phone calls to both 1800flowers and PayPal. Chocolates were also all melted when delivered. This has been a horrendous experience.
Desired outcome: Money back
Mothers day flowers
I was to receive flowers on the day before mother's day. They were never delivered as they said they did. They said someone signed for them - but don't have the signature. Then they say they delivered another arrangement on the 10th but no one was home, they claim, when they came here. here it is the 13 - no one has tried to redeliver them - no calls. I reached out to the 1-800# and they wanted to charge a redelivery fee. AS IF. I asked for a supervisor. Another guy got on the phone - and when I asked his name, he said Christoper. When I asked for his last name or badge number, his response was - I didn't bring my badge in and I don't know the number off the top of my head and there is no other supervisor to help you. The first guy I talked to said he tried to call the florist and they never answer...the supervisor told me he doesn't have a number to call them. No guarantee of flowers - no money back - no discount. Nothing.
Desired outcome: I want the flowers that someone cared so much about me to get to me. And I want a discount or refund for the issues and problems.
Same problem. Delivery is not satisfactory. They did not deliver the flowers.
Very Disappointed
I received 2 dozen roses for Mother’s Day from my daughter. I heard the Fed Ex delivery being put on my porch and immediately went to get the delivery. The actual box was very warm even though it had a perishable sticker on it. Sure enough when the box was opened, even the bubble wrapped vase was very warm and needless to say the roses were in terrible shape even though we immediately trimmed the stems and put them in water. Immediately called Flowers.com, held for over 30 minutes, but then accepted their offer to keep me in line for a callback. No call back in 24 hrs so I did it again, still no callback. I even called in the middle of the night since they claim 24/7 service as well as left a text. Totally no response whatsoever. Finally I gave it a try again four days later since I was so totally sick about having to tell my daughter the condition of her present to me, and after holding another 30 minutes, someone picked up only to find out that my daughter, who has an heavy work schedule would have to call herself, even though they were able to locate the account. Flowers.com has become a scam in that the 3rd party recipients get to see their poor quality and in my case I could be honest with my daughter. I think of the others who can’t be honest with the person sending. Then when you appeal to customer service you beat yourself against a brick wall just getting through to a live person…and yes I tried their robotic virtual assistant who did assist by telling me the other “secret” place to find the senders card since it was missing in the senders envelope within the box! Not a good thing when you receive flowers, even wilted ones, without knowing who sent them! Flowers.com has over extended themselves with all the other outlets they have undertaken and is not the same as it started out. Never, ever will I or my daughter use them again. The saddest part is their selection of FedEx as their source of delivery, as the flowers should have never ridden around in a hot truck in FL for 2 days. Their customer service response, or lack thereof, only escalated the issue as if they could have been reached, this wouldn’t be so blown up to my total disgust and frustration. Wasted entirely too much time with this company.
Desired outcome: Sender should be compensated. Mother’s Day is over and no redelivery could ever erase all this frustration so I definitely don’t want to see a box with your name on it…ever!
Mothers day 2022 delivery
I ordered flowers for my mother on Mothers Day 2022 and paid an extra $14 plus for delivery for anytime before Mothers day. The flowers arrived the Monday after Mothers Day which I would have been fine with, but dont charge me the extra $14 plus to be delivered "before" Mothers Day. Delivery service for flowers is expensive already without them ripping you off extra.
Dozen of beautiful roses no vase at Walmart this mothers day was less than $10 and $69 thru 1-800 Flowers because my Mom lives 150 miles away, so sad...
Desired outcome: Refund my $14, Fed Ex did not deliver Sat or Sun as stated on tracking info
Flowers were not delivered for Mother's Day
I had ordered flowers for Mother's Day for my wife, and I received a text message that they had been delivered at my home on Friday May 6, but they were not delivered, and my wife and I were at home all day, and never seen anyone trying to deliver the flowers.
I called the Customer Service number at 1-800 Flowers to let them know that they floweriest that they are using is running a SCAM, because they are saying that the flowers were delivered, but in fact they were not!
The Customer Service girl checked on my order and the floweriest said that they tried to deliver, but was no answer, so they left with the flowers? The Customer Service person will deliver a replacement, but not until May10, which is days after Mother's Day. I ask why didn't they come back and deliver the flowers that I was supposed to get on Friday, but they said it doesn't work that way. Sounds strange to me. So they delivered my flowers to someone else then?
I have been a loyal customer for years, and not sure if I will continue, if this is how they do business these days. Very unhappy!
We had another delivery from 1-800 flowers from someone else on Saturday May 11, and they left that delivery on the door step with not problem. This does not make since to me why I did not get the flowers that I had sent to the same address, and they could not leave them as well?
Desired outcome: I feel that I should get a full refund of my money, plus the flowers that I ordered delivered to my home.
flowers
I did not receive my flowers for a co worker on March 18th. I called for a refund on March 20th was told it was being taken care. Called on May 8th to inform them I did not receive a refund. No one speaks English and I just want my money back. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE AMOUNT OF THE TRANSACTION WAS FOR $58.48. I
Desired outcome: I WANT MY MONEY BACK IMMEDIATELY IF NOT RECEIVED BY MONDAY MAY 9TH INTO MY ACCOUNT I WILL DUSPUTE THE TRANSACTION WITH MY BANK.
