There were delays because of weather and time of year. Otherwise the roof was done in one day and the eavestrough done later in a half day. No mess left behind and the roof looks great. One could not ask for more

We just had 4 windows installed by 1st Choice Home Solutions and found them to be a very efficient, organized, and friendly business. The windows look fabulous and we are very pleased with the service. Highly recommend!

Needed a skylight replaced due to hail damage. The installers were here and gone in no time. Complete and for a competitive price. Only reason they did not receive 5 stars is because the installers did not let me know when they were leaving. Communication is key for me.

This company was not the lowest bid but we trusted their expertise. Appreciated the excellent communication from the "team" - from sales, to crew and office staff. Always pleasant and positive. Clean up was excellent and we were only left with compliments from our neighbours.

EXCEPTIONAL JOB. The gentlemen that did our steel roof were fast, experienced, and hard workers. The sales person made sure we were satisfied with job after, and as a result we are getting our house sided in spring.I would &have recommended them to other people. Happy 25 years anniversary.

This is my 2nd time using 1st Choice. Excellent company, they really stand behind their work and they're always following up to ensure satisfaction. Good value. A great team effort for all from start to finish. The work included removal of old chimney, new front door, siding, trim and gutter work. Each team I met took the time to ensure I understood what they were doing and how long the the work would take. There were delays but COVID was the cause of those delays. Thanks again.

First Choice installed a steel roof on my home. It was done in a timely manner, for a reasonable price. They always kept me abreast of what was going on, ie. which days the crew was coming out to work and which days they could not come out because of weather conditions. Overall, I was happy with their work and would recommend them to others.

Glen was very polite and not rushed in showing all shingle selection, gave us good, better,best prices. After we chose the colour he returned to inspect attic for damage and proper air flow,and final roof inspection after crew was finished(crew was #1 at work ethics,clean great, answered any questions,cleanup was outstanding) Office staff also very polite. Everyone was on time even waste bin driver great clean up also. We will strongly advise you to trust this company . WAYNE B.

Very pleased with their service. From start to finish everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. I had some water damage and needed my roof done as soon as possible - they sent people out to tarp my roof immediately! I was kept informed regarding a start date and when the delivery of the shingles and bin was to be. Very organized! Crew that was sent out were friendly, worked well together and made sure the site was cleaned up each day. I'm very pleased with my new roof - it looks great! I would highly recommend them.

Their Name speaks for itself. From day 1 the the Sales Rep at 1st Choice Home Solutions was polite and professional. He helped us with the Selection Samples and insulation and Capping requirements for House Siding and Entrance Door. The Installers did a Fantastic job and cleaned up every night. Mr. Glen Chard, the President also helped in choosing the right Patio Door that we needed to be lowered because of a Tripping Hazard. Even their Account kept in contact with us if we required anything. I have received Great remarks from many of our Neighbors for the new look.

After serious research regarding this company, we hired them to install new siding, soffit, facia, eaves troughs and gutter guards on our home. The installation team and his assistant completed an outstanding job. The team leader was professional and informative on all our questions. Our 70 year old house looks brand new and fantastic! We have received many compliments on the job performed. Our sales professional, Les, itemized each item and service cost so we had a clear and concise understanding of our project. Les was in constant contact with his installers. We have full confidence in this company and their full team, and we have recommended them to friends and family.

Quoted price was very good, but materials weren't what I expected. Crew was incredible but spent alot of extra time improvising to make things work. Was expecting F edging and got edging with wrong angles that needed alot of extra time installing to make it work. Roof cap also had to be improvised to make ventilation work and keep it leakage free. Quality of work was incredible by the crew in extreme heat. I advised them that I would do alot of cleanup to save them time, which was minimal. Alot of time and customer satisfaction could have been been improved by the sales representative giving me options about what I wanted, and what is available. This didn't happen. The crew that did the work, appeared frustrated by the materials they had to work with, but did a great job.👍

We hired 1st Choice Home Solutions in the summer of 2020. We paid our deposit in early July, but work did not start until the end of August. There was an issue with getting a bin in our back lane, which caused a delay in the work until the next day. When they did start, they only worked on the back portion of our house and did not provide a tarp, only the ice and water shield. Due to rain and workers being occupied with another project, there were two days where no work was done. On the Friday before Labor Day, they had one roofer who only stripped half of the shingles and put on a flimsy tarp. Unfortunately, on Labor Day, we woke up to rain dripping down the walls and coming out of the baseboards on the entire west side of our house.

We tried contacting 1st Choice several times, but received no response. Eventually, we had to bring in a restoration company who managed to get in touch with the company. They sent a roofer to temporarily fix the problem, but they did not have any tarps and used our ice and water shield instead. However, the rain continued to come in. The Tuesday after Labor Day, two individuals named [Name] and [Name] came over to assess the situation, but they left without taking any action. To this day, not a single person from 1st Choice has asked us how we are doing or done anything to address the situation. As a result, we had to move out of our home for two months and stay in a hotel while the repairs were being completed.

We also encountered issues with communication and incorrect information relayed to the workers. Additionally, we were charged extra for materials that were initially missed. Although we worked with them to reduce our bill, we are extremely dissatisfied with their service and workers. We have decided to never use them again for any future projects, including utilizing their warranty, as we anticipate they will likely claim that this situation is not covered. It is crucial for them to treat people with more respect and empathy when they find themselves in such circumstances and reach out to offer support. We feel that their primary concern was solely getting paid and moving on.
