My sister had an account in this bank from our brother who had since passed.
She was in a memory care facility and had guardianship over her estate. The estate was sold last year. Now the bank made out a check to the estate of my sister. The new bank here will not take the check since it is made out to estate of. Tried to explain that the estate has been sold. But, they will not redo the check with just her name. So here I have a check that the bank here will not deposit to her new account. Sent several messages to the bank but now I get no kind of response from the person Brendan Kerr that I have contact with. What can I do to get this corrected.
Desired outcome: I want the check I have canceled, and a new one replaced.
