I bought a 2019 Hyundai Tucson from 6th Avenue Honda on Jan 18, 2021. I paid $3000 for an extra warranty. I've tried to contact them many times about the warranty but no one has responded. I left many messages but no one called back. I think the warranty is a scam and I want my money back but I can't talk to anyone at the dealership. Even when I choose the operator, it goes to voicemail. Sarah

I bought a used car from 6th Avenue Honda on June 29. They also sold me a Multishield Service Contract and a Millenium Automotive Protection, which I could cancel within 60 days for a full refund. On August 1st, I went to the dealership with the required documents to cancel the contracts. The person at the front desk, named ***, said I didn't need those documents and made me fill out a form. I had to push for the Business Manager to sign it. *** said it would take 3-4 weeks to process and gave me her number. When I called back, she said someone would call me back but they never did. So, I sent the documents by recorded delivery, which Honda received on 8/28. But, I never got official notification that my request was accepted.

I bought a Honda Insight from 6th Avenue Honda on November 5. I got the extended warranty too. I did everything over the phone since I live in CA. I signed the contract and paid the downpayment on Nov 9th. They confirmed they got it on the 10th. But then I changed my mind and wanted to cancel the extended warranty. They said they would send me a cancellation doc by email, but I never got it. On Nov 15th, I got the number for finance and called them. I talked to Marcellus, the finance director. He asked for my email and sent me the doc to sign. I got it that same day from ***, the Customer Experience Manager. I signed it and he said I would get a refund in 6-8 weeks. I asked about it on Jan 27th, but *** said it wasn't on the cancellation sheet, so he sent it to corporate. I got a refund check for $2,119.69, but I was expecting $140.31 more. I asked *** about it, but he never replied. I think it's because he turned in the cancellation 11 weeks later. But the sales person *** was great.

I bought a car from 6th Avenue Honda and the guy who did the money stuff was a real jerk. He said he'd do one thing and then did something else without telling us. We caught it when we were signing the papers. Then, like a month later, they said we had to come back in and sign again because they didn't have the right papers or something. We said we'd only sign if they didn't change anything and didn't run our credit again. The boss guy said it was all good and we signed. But then we saw that they did run our credit again. And then we didn't get any papers about the loan or anything for like another month. Then they called and said we had to sign again because the finance people messed up and added stuff we didn't want. We said no and they ran our credit again without asking. We said we wouldn't unlock our credit and they said we should just sign again because we really like the car.
