No integrity, no accountability
No integrity, no accountability. They sold me a car without a title. I had to wait for over 2 months. Meanwhile, the car I was driving broke down. Their solution was to "temporarily" sell me an auction car with structural damage. They assured me that I wouldn't have to worry about depreciation and that I would still pay the original price I agreed upon for the car I was waiting for. However, after 2+ months, they changed their mind and increased the monthly payment for the car I wanted by $120. I had requested everything in writing, but they told me not to be concerned about it. I decided to go somewhere else and bought another car. Now I'm stuck with two cars and don't know what to do.
I got a car from Koch Rt 2 Toyota in Lancaster MA
I got a car from Koch Rt 2 Toyota in Lancaster MA. I told the dealer that I wanted a SE, but I ended up settling for a LE. The reason for this is because finance had me sign the loan online, which I've never done at a dealer before. After that, he went into his office and changed the loan agreement by adding around $400 for extended maintenance costs. He said it came with just buying the car. Now my loan payment is higher than it should be. I could have bought a SE, which is a higher-end Camry, with a lower loan payment. So, I don't recommend Koch Rt 2 Toyota to anyone in Lancaster because they play sales games and take your money. It's a really bad dealership and I'm disgusted with them.
I would give this company zero stars if I could
I would give this company zero stars if I could. I bought a car from them in November, and I haven't had nothing but problems with this car since I bought it. I tried to contact them to see if they could help out with fixing it because, as I just bought the car, I shouldn't have to put a bunch of money into it. I paid 11000 Plus for this car, not a cheap car that you expect to have to put a little work into. When I bought this car, I did not think that within a month, I would be having issues, major issues that were there when I bought the car. I have struts that are completely rotted. I've already had to replace both struts and mounts in the back. The exhaust pan thing had to be welded because the strap was broken. All four of my tires have leaks, and I've had to replace the valves. Eventually, I'm going to have to get new tires because these ones aren't going to last very long. I've already put the money into this vehicle, and I don't think it's fair that they sell a vehicle to someone and then when the vehicle has a bunch of issues, they literally ignored my calls. They ignored my email right after I bought the car. Both headlights went out, things like that. I understand happen, but it just adds to the list of things that have gone wrong with the vehicle since I've gotten it. Now my front end is making sounds, and I had someone look at it, and I'm going to have to do the struts in the front end also. So they told me a vehicle with rotted struts. They didn't go through the vehicle and make sure it was good to go. They sold me a vehicle without making sure everything was good on it, and it's very frustrating for someone who doesn't have a lot of money to waste on things like that. I really just put these reviews out there so other people will save their money and go somewhere else so they don't end up how I ended up.

I put a deposit on a car that was coming, but when I saw it, I didn't like it
I put a deposit on a car that was coming, but when I saw it, I didn't like it. I canceled the deal, and they said they would give me back my deposit, but they haven't done it yet. I called them four times about this, and the last time was on 10/22/22. They told me they would take care of it on Monday 10/24/22, but they haven't refunded my card yet. I placed the deposit on 9/12/22, canceled the deal two weeks later, and I still haven't received the refund.
I've been callin' since March 16th to get a payment fixed
I've been callin' since March 16th to get a payment fixed...and it still ain't done. I've called Toyota over 20 times. My property tax for Mass. gets added to my car payment every year. They messed it up on March 11th, and I called to get it fixed but they still ain't fixed it right. They only fixed $8.10 outta the $258.10 that was paid. Toyota is sayin' I got an outstanding balance of $250, but I don't...all payments since 2018 have been accounted for. This is so dang frustratin' that someone at Toyota in the money department can't figure out how to properly apply this payment. The account for my car is ***. I wanna trade in my car but I can't 'til this payment is sorted out.
I called the Koch Route 2 Toyota dealership 2 weeks before I moved to NH on 4/27/2022
I called the Koch Route 2 Toyota dealership 2 weeks before I moved to NH on 4/27/2022. I talked to Richard K, who convinced me to "put down a $500 Deposit (fully refundable for any reason) to secure the 4 Runner". He said the car's price would be settled through negotiation when I arrived in the state. When I got there, I called the dealership on 5/14/2022 and spoke with Paulo A. We couldn't agree on the price, and Paulo said it's fine to cancel the transaction and that he would refund the deposit by Wednesday. After that, I went to another dealership and bought the car. Tuesday morning, Shahid Q called me and said they changed their mind and won't give me the money back like they promised.

On February 25, we took our 2011 Toyota Camry to Koch Rt 2 Toyota for some service
On February 25, we took our 2011 Toyota Camry to Koch Rt 2 Toyota for some service. We asked for an oil change and tire rotation. We also told them about a whining noise we were hearing. Prime Toyota said the noise was from the alternator and water pump, so they replaced them. But guess what? The car still made the same whining noise! And to make matters worse, they didn't even do the tire rotation that we paid for. We talked to a guy named Jim, who works there, and he said we should bring the car back so they can try to figure out the noise and rotate the tires. So, we dropped off the car on Monday night, March 8, and they were supposed to check the noise on the morning of March 9. But guess what again? They couldn't find or recreate the noise! So basically, we got scammed into replacing the water pump and alternator, even though those parts weren't the problem at all.
On the 23rd of June, my 2019 model 86 Toyota broke down on RT 2 East at the *** mile marker
On the 23rd of June, my 2019 model 86 Toyota broke down on RT 2 East at the *** mile marker. I called AAA to tow me to Kosh Toyota in Lancater. I called them to let them know what happened, but all they did was give me a hard time. I have a warranty of *** on the motor and trans, and I've been paying on the loan through *** in ***. They said they need to tear down the motor to find out what went wrong, but it's been sitting untouched in the parking lot for 3 weeks. I'm paying insurance on this car and I might lose my job if I don't get it back soon. What kind of business does that when I have a warranty? The people over there, especially the service director, are not professional. This is my 4th Toyota I've bought from a Toyota dealership. They're taking their sweet time with my car. I had no choice but to report this. Please help me with this issue.
I had bad service before, but this is on another level
I had bad service before, but this is on another level. When I bought my car from Koch Rt 2 Toyota, they said they would replace the fuel door before delivering the vehicle. But when it finally arrived, almost two days late (I had to remind my salesman about the delivery), the fuel door wasn't fixed. They also forgot to include the owner's manual that I had asked for. I've been getting the runaround for over a month now. I've talked to a few sales managers who just brush me off. I've been trying to call the general manager, but I keep hitting a dead end with his voicemail. I've even been trying to reach the customer relations manager, who initially reached out to help, but now they've been ignoring me for days. I feel like I've been ripped off, and now that the sale is done, no one wants to follow up and keep their promises. They were supposed to take care of this before delivering the truck, but over a month later, I'm still trying to get it sorted out.
Bate and Switch I went to Koch Rt 2 Toyota in Lancaster MA to buy a Rav4
Bate and Switch I went to Koch Rt 2 Toyota in Lancaster MA to buy a Rav4. The sales person went over the trims and options, and we came upon the trim XLE with heated mirrors and heated seats, lift gate, and sun/moon roof. I test drove it and decided to purchase that car. I had a trade-in which was valued on KBB at $16,000 to $19,000. When they looked at it, they said it was only worth $14,000. And when they ran the numbers, it came close to where I wanted to be. So, even though I got screwed on my trade-in, I still decided to go ahead with the car because it was within my budget. The sales manager, now seeing that I was an easy prey, had the sales person come to me and say that they had to switch the car for one without the sun/moon roof. Since I never used it in my old car, I said okay. Then I took the new car home, and after a few days, I realized that this car was missing all of the options we went over during the sale. So, I contacted the sales manager and got no reply. I tried again, and again, no reply. Not until they had the registration did I hear from them, 8 days after the sale. They made sure I could not return the car before they contacted me. I know that I have lost my money, but the main reasons I went there are: 1-Toyota care, free oil changes (now I cannot trust them, so I will have to pay for the oil changes myself at another service center). 2-Heated mirrors (winter is rough in MA). 3-Located close to me, 5 minutes away, so I can have my car serviced whenever it needed it (not now cause I will take it somewhere else). Now none of that matters. This is the most DISHONEST dealership I have ever been to.
I went to the Toyota dealership on 10/2 cuz my car started makin noise on 9/29/2022
I went to the Toyota dealership on 10/2 cuz my car started makin noise on 9/29/2022. When I told the guy there bout the problem, he said he gotta charge me for checkin it out, but if it's a powertrain issue, I don't gotta pay cuz it's under warranty. The car's got a 60,000 mile powertrain warranty that's gonna expire in 14 days or less than 2000 miles. Turns out, the problem with the car is a powertrain issue with the Transfer box. But now the dealership won't give me back the 159.00 I paid for the checkup, even tho it shoulda been covered. They say they ain't gonna cover it cuz they think someone pulled the plug, even tho nobody's ever serviced that part of the car before. The last service was on 9/06/2022 at some other place, and they think maybe they pulled the wrong plug durin an oil change. The mechanic and managers say the transfer box was completely dry, even tho the car's been driven about 1000 miles since the last oil change. The car don't have any warnin lights or nothin to show the tank was empty. Even tho the dealer says there's no other way the tank got drained, there's cases where these parts can leak or run dry without any proof. Since there's no warnin and no evidence of tamperin, they should cover this issue. They wouldn't let me see the inspection process and didn't give me a report to prove their denial. I think they just wanna deny my claim cuz they saw the sticker from the other place and know my warranty's almost up.
On 4/22, I collaborated with a man from Koch Rt 2 Toyota, who later left the company
On 4/22, I collaborated with a man from Koch Rt 2 Toyota, aiming to lease a Siena. Due to low stock, I placed a deposit for a custom Sienna. By 5/5, Koch Rt 2 processed my payment. They estimated the build time to match my 6-month lease extension. I periodically inquired about progress. Eventually, I learned he had left the company. After being transferred among salespeople, one assured me of consistent updates and staying with the company. On 11/19, I got an email saying my van arrived. I responded on 11/20, noting my poor cell reception and seeking next steps. I had no missed calls from Toyota. Perhaps they called from an unknown number without leaving a voicemail. After 24 hours without a reply, I realized my response went to a general inbox, so I resent it directly on 11/21. On 11/25, when I requested him, he was unavailable, and another staff member had no record of the van's arrival, suggesting it might've been reassigned. I requested a callback that day but didn't receive one. Since then, I've called or emailed daily with no response. My deposit remains unreturned, and I lack a clear explanation for the events post-11/19 email.
