So, we was told by the project manager Deborah H that a wine cooler was gonna be in our plans 'cause we was buying a house that already had that upgrade included. But now, Deborah H don't wanna give us the wine cooler and we got a big hole in our island. Our realtor tried to talk to her, but she got all mad and stuff. We just want ABD to give us the wine cooler like they said they would in Deborah H's email.

ABD Development built our new home 8 months ago, but they ain't been good at keeping their warranty. They even canceled the A/C warranty on two broken systems after I had an inspector check one out. They started some repairs but never finished them, and they didn't even start some repairs that were on the original checklist. We had big electrical problems, two busted A/C units, and lots of other stuff that they didn't fix. They're always giving us the runaround, and they don't communicate well. We had to get a lawyer to get anything done. And even before the house was done, they accused us of bullying them when we asked a simple question. They don't want to take responsibility and act like they're the victim.

ABD Development is not covering a repair that should be covered under my one-year builder warranty. Their sub, Airflow, is charging me $778 for a broken valve on my AC unit. I had my own AC inspector come out two days after closing to make sure everything was in working order. Due to COVID, I also had them install an air purifier in the duct work. This was done almost a year prior to the valve breaking and was nowhere near the broken valve. ABD's sub came out and did a full diagnostic showing everything was in working order. If my AC inspector broke the valve during their inspection, ABD's sub would have seen it during their inspection. It's like having a part on your water heater break, but because you hired your own plumbing inspector and had them put a water filter on your kitchen sink, the builder claims the warranty is voided.

I bought a house from ABD Development and we closed on January 28. Since then, we've had a lot of problems with the house and the builder hasn't done anything about it. They just take your money and don't care about the issues. One problem that really bothers me is the AC unit. It hasn't worked properly since we moved in and we had to change the coils in the unit just two months after moving in. We've had a problem with humidity and even after sending service men out, nothing was fixed. Before summer, the system started leaking water all over and they charged me for the service call even though I told them the cut off value should have turned off the unit. Before my warranty was up, a service man came on January 27 and told me I needed an air balancer for my cold bedroom. They said I had to pay for it even though I was still under warranty. In February, the compressor blew and I had to wait for the piece to be fixed. Someone came to look at the system and told me it was done wrong and that's why the coils and compressor went bad. I had to pay $1045 for the repairs and when I told the builder, they said someone else looked at it even though no one did while under warranty.

I bought my house from ABD Development on July 11, and I've had a lot of issues with it since then. Caroline T was my sales representative, and I paid $330,000 for lot #21, model #2010, using a house loan from JP Morgan bank. During construction, I noticed problems and contacted Debbie, who said the builders would fix any issues. However, a brown water stain on the ceiling was never addressed, despite my repeated attempts to get it fixed.

I've had several other issues with the house since then, including unlevel floors, two different closet doors in my master bedroom, scratched mirrors in the master bathroom, a scratched tub, cabinets that don't work properly, a broken sliding glass door, a squeaky bathroom door, and a difficult-to-open air filter compartment. I've contacted Ed, who is in charge of warranties, but he hasn't been very helpful.

To make matters worse, a light fixture fell on my head while I was taking a shower, and the handle in the shower fell off and hit my foot. I also paid $350 for a built-in seat in my master bathroom, but it's too small to be useful.

Overall, I'm very disappointed with my experience with ABD Development. The house has had numerous issues, and the company hasn't been very responsive or helpful in addressing them.
