Cancel it by saying it was a fruadulant charge. Tell your credit card company you have no idea how they got your card regardless. Since these guys are crooks it takes acting like one to get your money back. . . So be it

I signed up for the "free Trial" and towards the end, there was a question and answer prompt so I started asking questions about the products, and the on line operater at Acai8 was trying intently to get me to sign up for a membership. I began to notice her persistance and wrote back to cancel everything, that i did not want any membership, or even the product. A few days later, I noticed that I was being charged $4.95 from my debit card and in two days, 2 bottles of Vital Acai came from LaJolia, Ca. In the envelope with the product was a disclosure that I had 15 days from their ship date to cancel and a number to call 24/7 to cancel at anytime. They were going to charge me $39.00+ per bottle and continue to ship each month with identical charges until I cancelled. So, I called the number [protected]. A lady answered and said she'd been getting calls and didn't know what this was about. So I redialed and got some elevator music, no one answered. This was Canada number, or so the Address said, Vital Acai, 895 S. Rockefeller Avenue, Suite 105, Ontario, Ca 91761. I held on the line thinking that this was also charging me because I don't have out of country phone services.

What I did: Call my bank, connect with the dispute services there, cancel my debit card, send back the unopened product to the address on the shipping label. Also before I order anything on-line, I will google the company and look for complaints like this before I fork over my credit card/debit card # to fraudulant companies who get you into these things without a way of cancelling. The end

So I signed up for a trial of the Acai Berry Max product thinking that I was being charged $6 or so $ for a trial. Well, come to find out, that not only was I not charged the $6, I was charged $79.95, and then another charge less than one month later for $85.00. I have not yet begun to refute these charges with Acai Berry, but I will say to anyone else considering this product to STAY AWAY. I have not received anything from these people other than one small bottle of pills, (that I never even used) to warrant $160 worth of my hard earned $. I wish I would have read the other laundry list of complaints before being lured into a false sense of security by the Oprah endorsement splashed all over the web site.

Updated...

I spoke again with the company, this time I demanded to speak with a supervisor.

She told me that I was not eligable for a refund, b/c though I had done EXACTLY as they told me to when sending the product back.

They are claiming that I didn't send it back in the alloted time.. *(WRONG AGAIN)

They promised *after a dispute that got beligerant* to refund my money with in 48 hours. It never happened.. So, I am (as I warned the company) launching a SCAM campaign for my radio show and my newsletters! Together these (plus my multiple blogs) reach hundreds of thousands of people!
I have spoken to my atty about this and he has informed me that it IS completely legal as long as I am not making false accusations against the company!

Join me! Spread the word anywhere you possibly can to warn people about this scam!
Here is my public blog http://kristyhinkle.blogspot.com/

There are links to this site and another site where I was able to find information... *Including the founder of the company being convicted of mail fraud!

DO NOT GIVE THESE COMPANIES A CREDIT CARD NUMBER! I did check fraud online before I ordered but this doesn't come up unless you say credit card scam in the search.
I ordered a free sample of Acai Berry and of TotalCleanse in late November. I was to be charged only shipping and a confirmation was to be sent via email. I recieved no confirmation and have yet to recieve a confirmation. I did recieve the trials about a month later. My credit card was charged shipping and 87.13 for Acai Berry before I ever recieved anything and then 78.84 for Total Cleanse and then 87.13 again. Everything but the shipping was unauthorized charges. The phone numbers DID work and I was given a confirmation number and told the charges would be removed from my card and I would recieve an email. When this DID not happen I called my credit card company and proceeded with a fraud investigation. I encourage you to do the same thing.

A number showed up on my online banking charge and I called it and got straight through without any problems. I also got a cancellation confirmation number as well. The number is [protected]. But I also called my bank and reported all charges as fraudulent due to Acai charging me the 69.95 2 days before the 14 days. I have a new card on the way.

I had order this product as a free trial.. I paid extra for it to get here.. Which was $9.95 and it took longer the 5 days to get here. I had order it on December 15th and didn't recieve this product till. January 17th. And I think that is unacceptable because I paid the extra money for it to be here sooner. Now on my reciept it say that it is going to charge me $88 for another bottle and then with another charge of $9.95 bring the total to be close to $97. All I wanted was the free trial to see how it would work. I am not going to be willing to pay that much more for something I don't want any more. So please take off this charges that I don't want..

This "company" offers sending an Acai Berry sample for delivery fee only, and after that they periodically send another samples of dried plants and charge delivery fee to one's credit card again and again. BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM AND CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO STOP ANY PAYMENT. REPORT TO YOUR STATE ATTORGEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, TOO.

I called and cancelled my order before the 14 day trial was over so that I could return the product. I was told that I had 10 days to send it back so that my account would not be charged. That was on Friday, and today (Tuesday) my card was charged $78.81. I called and they gave me the run around and asked if Iwanted to just keep the product for a discounted price. After about 3 times asking, I repeated that I just wanted to send it back and get my money refunded. The gentleman said that he was only authorized to refund me $60. I told him that he better go "get authorized" to give me $78.81 quickly. He came back after a few minutes and said that he would try to have a refund credited to my account in 10 - 14 days. I doubt I will ever see that, so i called and cancelled my debit card so that they could not further charge my card and I have submitted a dispute to my bank to make sure that I get my money back. At the end of the phone call I was give n a cancellation number. I was given a cancellation number when I called last week, so I was really surprised when I called back and was asked if I wanted to cancel and they gave me the same cancellation number that I got last week! It really is a huge scam!

Hi

Remember that once your trial is over your new shipment will be on its way usually with a three months supply that you are liable for. Some companies will not accept stock back and the ones that do, the product has to be unopened and the shipping expense will be yours.

When you sign up to some of these trials you are also signing up to another one or two memberships that you will also have to cancel separately.

As you can see yet another scam.

When you do go to try cancel you will come against problems of the phone not being answered, being put on hold and left there to wait until you get pi**ed off and you hang up and other technical problems that stop you getting through, convenient hey?

Tell us of your experiences so we can share these with others and compile a list of these unscrupulous companies.

Applied for the free trial sample per the website. No where on the website did it say that I would automatically be enrolled for monthly refills and automatic withdrawals from my checking account. I contacted them right away when I saw that it came through, but nothing has been done to refund my money. I have not received another order since my initial call, so the full refund should be granted. I have tried call them several times but the phone call remains on hold. When I try to leave a message, the mailbox is full.

I put a stop payment on them and reported them to anyone and everone I could! I found another # which is long distance and was on hold forr 33 mins before I gave up now I'm out the charge for the long distance and replacement fee for a new debit card and have nothing to show for it SCAM SCAM!

I signed up for the free 14 day trial and when I rec the product the very next day my card was charged $ 87.13. I called and have called this company every day since. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they tell me he/she is on another line, I'll hold after 45 min I hang up. Every time I speak to someone they say they are sending to the refund dept. I have froze my account so no-one else can pull this on me again, They all do it. Most will refund the $$. The very day they charged me Their company was focused on a local news program in my area. Sucks to be me. How sad that companys have to rip off the public for their own profit. Who reads these? and what will be done? Well I went to the bank, they are reissuing me a card w/a different # I will not be using, ( I can and will go to a health food store or Wal- Mart for that matter)The bank is going to try and reverse the charge back to the company however it may take them 30 days to collect, So I say to the bank "I may never get my money back from them so 30 days is not bad"! Someone reading this should know what we (There are a lot of us) can do sooo Help us out.

If I can help you after reading below, email me at jeffalex1@yahoo.com

On 1/20/09, I discovered multiple charges of $78.84(Bodycleansingonline), $89.31(Purelife), $84.79 (Purebodycleanse)and
$29.95(Fit-Fac) along with the associated shipping charges of $3.95 (myvipfit.com), $8.51(Pricelimbo) for a total of approximately $499.00 on my wifes online banking statement dating back to 12/2/08. After finding numerous similar complaints online, I went directly to my Credit Union on 1/21/09.I reported them as fraudulent charges, cancelled the debit card and completed a fraudulent use of ATM/Debit/Charge card form.The form lists all fraudulent charge amounts and dates. Today, 1/22/09, all charges have been refunded to her account by our credit union.Don't waste your time trying to recoup your money from the company(s).They are not going to give anything back. Go directly to your financial institution. I was told that my debit card was backed (protected) by VISA the same as a credit card.The credit union and VISA will go after their money and I believe they will get it.

Please do not purchase this trial period, you will own the WHOLE NINE YARDS at 79.95 every single month. Then you cant reach them. They tell you thier computers are down and they will call you back. You will be billed month after month. Beleive me its a big scam! You have to dispute it with your credit card company. I just got off the phone with mine and they said they have been getting swamped with calls since November since this Acai Berry thing was on Oprah with Dr Oz. Go on the site www.info@verifyourorder.com and read all the complaints if you dont beleive me.

Yes complete fraud. I ordered back in December and never got the product I called in early January and they told me they had to do a background check but I had passed so they would be sending me the product! Finally today i was fed up with this so I called to cancel my order. They told me it had barely shipped yesterday because of the HIGH DEMAND of the product. I told them I dont care cancel my order now. They gave me a confirmation number. So far no charges have been made to my card. But im going to be checking frequently.

By the way Kristabelle I live in Ontario California. Its not Canada everyone always thinks that. So dont worry you werent calling another country.

I ordered the "FREE TRIAL" and then realized that I had 14 days from the day I ordered it to return it or 87.13 would be charged to my account. Well I receved the product on the 8th day after I ordered so I called as soon as I received it to cancel and get the return info I needed and told them to cancel my account. I was told it was cancelled and that as long as they received it by the 21st I would not be charged. So I paid for 3 day shipping with confirmation so I would know they receved it and on the 10th they received the product back and on the 16th charged my account 87.13. I called to find out why and to get my money back and all they will tell me is that they have sent a request to the refund department and I will get an email in 48 hrs. Well its been much longer and still have no answers. I went to my bank to find out what I can do and I had to cancel my bank card because they have so many names they can use to still get into my account that was the only way to insure my account was safe. My bank said they have dealt with these ppl alot. So beware and if you have ordered the "FREE TRIAL" cancel your credit card now even before you get your trial you are not safe even if you call them and return product. And only they can talk to refund department.

I was taken in by a bunch of thieves! 14 day trial-what a scam. My trial was shipped on Dec. 10/08.I recieved it on Dec. 23/08 with a note saying that I had to reply to cancel my next shippment within 14 days of my initial order. How was I to know I wanted to cancel the next shipment before the first shipment arrived. Anyway, within 5 minutes of recieving my trial shipment, I called [protected]. I explained that I did not want another shipment & was told it was ok there would be no more charges to my account. WHAT A CROCK OF BULL****! When I recieved my credit card statement I was charged $ 111.75 for the second shipment. I called the 877 # right away & was told I should have called within the 14 days. There was nothing on the site I ordered from saying you only had 14 days from the time you order to cancel or i never would have ordered in the first place. It took 13 days for me too recieve the trial shipment! SCAM any way you look at it . The girl I spoke with hung up on me . In the note you recieve with your first shipment it says---- WE ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL AND HASSLE FREE GUARANTEED! I THINK it is about time some Govt. Dept. look into all these SCAMS!

I have had 3 charges on my debit account, and 1 more this month for a total of 4, I did not sign up for any of this, the only thing I signed up for was a free trial with $4.95 shipping. When I received the product in the mail I had read the bottle and materials and realized I could not take the acai berry because of medical reasons and medication reasons, right then and there I called the company to cancel any further possible charges. The person that answered said that I was all set and there would be no further charges to my account. I have not been able to contact this company since. My question is this: How do I get my money back for false charges to my account and stop them from taking any more monies from my account?

Total Scam! Received a sample per advertising as associated with Oprah. The on-line form said I had two weeks to cancel. It took over a week to receive the "Natural Acai " product. Real Solutions Labs charged my account $69.95 a couple of days after I received the product. I requested a return & refund because my doctor said not to take it. They refused to take it back or offer a refund. Also they gave a different corporate home address when I tried a second time to get a return/refund. Scam Artists. They should be prosecuted and put out of business.

I ordered Acai Berry Cleanse - I ordered a free sample for $3.95 shipping. Then the company charged my checking account twice automatically for 87.13 within 15 days of that order. When I called the company they said its in their terms and conditions I would be charged but I got nothing in the mail & they will not reimburse me. I'm calling my bank to report as fraud and get a new checking account - I told Acai Berry to stop charging me but I"m nervious I will keep getting charged - I've paid 174.26 already so I'm reporting this as fraudulent.

I wish there was a way to get my money back especially since I got NOTHING in the mail but I doubt I'll ever see this money again .

These are almost all identical websites with interchangable # of kids, # weight loss;
They all tried the trendy diets (South Beach, Atkins, etc);
They all saw Dr. Oz on either Oprah or Rachel Ray;
They all state "I'm just a ----" on their site;
They all lost 42, 45 or 47 lbs.
Several have identical photos;
Several have the exact same layout.

There were two others that have since been yanked: Sarah Presley's and Anna Matthews' Weight Loss Stories. They must have been replaced with Karla's and Helen's because those are fairly new.

From all I've read on here of the absolute ripoffs, these people must be stopped.

I reported this to my credit card company and was told that they receive several calls a day with complaints from this company. They cancelled my card and r-issued another and said they will cancel the charges and asked that I fill out a complaint form so they could send to their Fraud department.

I have been decieved by this company I ordered ACai Berry Cleanse from some lab company for a Colon Cleanser:

I ordered free pills for $3.95 and got my product on 13th day
and the notice was stuffed in the bottom of the envelope and
I did not find it until day 15...called immediately to cancel
then saw they charged me for 87.13.
I called back and spoke w/ someone who would not refund me
and would also not let me speak to a supervisor.

The same thing with the Colon Cleanser...ordered free pills for $4.95.
Called to cancel before I even had tried it !
They then charged my account...I called back and they
said I cancelled a day late. I explained I just got the product.
I was charged by Pharmacologyy tablets on my bank
statment for $ 89.31.

Today I found two charges from a place called Fit Factory.com
who charged me $29.95 and $1.17.
I never ordered ANYTHING from this company.

i have a limited amount of money in my account and I feel
robbed.

I called this company on 1/7/09 and was told that they would cancel any future orders and would refund my credit card within 4-5 days. I returned the product on 1/7/09 and had delivery confirmation from USPS that it was delivered to them on 1/9/09.

On 1/16/09 my credit card was charged $78.81 again which is $83.80 minus the shipping charges of $4.99.

When I had called the first time the person I spoke to wanted to know if the cost of the product was too high and was willing to negotiate for a lesser charge. I refused the offer and told him to just take me off their mailing list and I would be returning the product that day (1/7/09).

When I called the second time on 1/29/09 I told the person (Sirrus) I spoke to that my credit card had been charged again and I had not received any product this time. Sirrus told me to call them when I received the product and I would be given a cancellation # and my account would be refunded.
