We had to call them back and they were pretty chill about it. They came back and gave us the Clicker and even programmed it for us. The garage door works great and we haven't had any problems since. Overall, we're pretty happy with Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation.

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation This place is a total scam

This place is a total scam. They cashed two deposit checks and never delivered the door. I was so mad, I couldn't believe it. I mean, how could they do that to me? It's just not right. I had to call them like a million times just to get them to answer the phone. And when they finally did, they were so rude and unhelpful. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation is a total rip-off! They charged me way too much and didn't even give me a breakdown of the costs. They didn't even give me a written estimate before they started working on my garage door. And to top it off, they charged me tax on the total amount instead of just the parts. And after they installed the motor, they still charged me a service charge on top of everything else. I tried calling them to complain, but they never even bothered to call me back. The secretary promised to reimburse me for the service charge, but that never happened either. Don't waste your time or money on these guys!

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation This company is a joke!

This company is a joke! I don't know how they stay open with such bad customer service. They came to my house because First American Home Warranty does business with them (another worthless company). When they arrived, the man wanted us to pay $500 to fix it properly to "avoid" any further breaks in the garage door. They said the warranty wouldn't cover this specific part, LOL! They tried to take $500 on top of what we already paid the insurance! They couldn't fix the garage door, so it's still broken even though it's been over a month. They rescheduled twice and never showed up! Every time they rescheduled, they were extremely rude and acted like it was our fault for their incompetence. In conclusion, I have no other option but to laugh and confirm that this company is a joke and probably run by clowns!

I gotta say, I know COVID-19 has been tough on shipping and stuff, but dang, Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation has been a real pain in my butt. I dropped 6 grand on a garage door and motor, and they ordered the wrong one. No window and the trim color was off. I ordered it back in July, and it's November now and I still don't have the right door. I've sent three emails and haven't heard back from them. I've had to chase down the sales guys and the scheduler a bunch of times, and they still haven't fixed it. I think they're just hoping I'll go away so they don't have to deal with it. I'm a pretty easy-going person, but this is just unprofessional. I asked them to at least fix the trim, but no dice. I'm a small business owner myself, and if I treated my clients like this, I'd be out of business. And I haven't even heard from the owner of Ace's! What a bummer. Maybe they'll fix it eventually, but I'm not holding my breath. Be careful if you work with Ace's Garage, y'all. I'd give them zero stars if I could, but the installer was a nice guy, so I'll give 'em one star.

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation is a real mess to work with. They lose your order, demand payment they already got, then damage your home before installing. Plus they were hitting on my 15 and 16-year-old daughters and asking if they were on Instagram like child predators. They are inexperienced and do not understand installing or framing. They are destroyers of homes. After I had to get a Real Contractor out to fix the damage they did, they came out with a new crew that I requested so the same ones did not screw up again. What did they do? The same thing. I told them what happened before so they did not damage the door frame and flooring again. The second I turned around, they damaged the frame and this time broke the window above the garage. How does that even happen? They are avoiding paying for the damages but I have a lawsuit. It seems like this guy has a lot of lawsuits because Mo was bragging about how he doesn't care and said "get in line" If you want to work with someone who does not appreciate your property, your time, and sends untrained workers to the job sites then this is your company. They never showed up and will not return my calls or send the $6000 deposit back for a job they canceled. Avoid this company. Look at ComplaintsBoard.com (ComplaintsBoard.com) and see the real reviews. Something I should have done instead of trust the fake reviews on various sites.

I requested a receipt and lifetime warranty at the time of installation, but was told that the receipt would be emailed to me the next day. However, I have yet to receive either the receipt or the warranty despite repeated requests via phone and email. I placed the order for the custom door on January 26th and paid a deposit of $***. The invoice number is ***. It's frustrating that the company is not fulfilling their obligation to provide me with the necessary documentation.

I had a contract with Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation for a Torsion System Rebuild with Roller Upgrade. On May 4th, they sent a technician who didn't have the right tools and had to borrow mine. The owner, ***, said that the technician went beyond our contract and adjusted the roller tracks. I saw the Ace's worker using my hammer to move the track mounting brackets. The job was done poorly and the door wasn't centered in its frame. The tracks were also out of plumb and the rollers kept coming out of their track.

I had their guy replace my garage door panels. They said there's a 15 year warranty on them. They finished the job in January. I asked for the warranty, but they said they'd send it later. I had to call and call to get it, and it wasn't on the invoice. I've called a lot, but they haven't given me the warranty in over 4 months. They say they'll do it, but then nothing happens. Last time I said I'd report them to the ComplaintsBoard.com, they said they'd do it again. That was 2 weeks ago.

I emailed and left a voicemail for Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation a few times in the last few months asking for a refund because of a recent charge. I haven't heard anything back yet. Someone named *** told me to contact the office for a refund. The charge doesn't make sense because the previous technicians gave me a new sensor and wire to go with it. *** said it wasn't written on the receipt, but that's not my fault. I want a refund of $125 because the issue *** fixed was already fixed by the previous technicians. It would be nice if someone could get back to me. I think it's bad customer service, especially during COVID when everything is harder.

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation I got a new garage door and opener installed on August 25th

I got a new garage door and opener installed on August 25th. But it wasn't working properly on August 26th. It would work sometimes, but it made a loud screeching noise. I called them on the 26th and they said a technician would come on the 27th between 8 and 12. But nobody showed up and nobody called me. I sent an email on the 29th because their customer service is really bad and I had been trying to figure out what was wrong with the system. Someone called me from the main office and said they were contacting the person here and they would get back to me. The system will work a couple of times and then it would screech and not open unless I do it manually. I live in a HOA so I can't leave my car in my driveway and I am disabled and can't get out of my car to either hold the garage door button or lift the door to open or close it. I shouldn't have to do this since this is a brand new system.

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation was sent to my house by my Home Warranty company on 9/20 to fix my garage door. The tech said the motor needed to be replaced and promised to come back in a week to finish the job. But he didn't show up the next week, and the receptionist changed my appointment to 10/8 without telling me. When I called, the receptionist was rude and said they could change my appointment without asking me. I insisted on confirming the appointment to make sure I was home. They rescheduled me for 10/11/XXXX Xam-1pm, but the technician never came. They said they called him, but he didn't answer, so they moved my appointment to 10/13/XXXX Xam-1pm. I asked to talk to a manager, but they said I'd get a call from*** (the owner) on 10/12. I never got a call. When I called on Wednesday to check on the technician, they said my appointment was actually from 5-7pm! I just want my door fixed!

They said they'd give us a custom insulated garage door with a mail slot on the left, but they gave us a non-insulated door with a mail slot on the right. They took advantage of us because it was after hours and we were desperate. The door they ordered was worth only $500 and was installed poorly with bolts falling off. They used scrap wood to frame the door and overcharged us. They finally agreed to a lower amount, but it was still too high. When we complained, they came to our house unannounced, yelled, and scared our kids. We got a better door from another company, but they won't take their door back and threaten us with small claims court.

My garage door spring broke on June 16, and my home warranty company sent ACE'S Garage door to fix it. They charged me an extra $199 to balance the door, which I found out later was included in the spring install by other companies. When I called to complain, *** promised to refund me $100, but I had to keep calling her every week for months to get it. The owner, , was rude when I spoke to him, but eventually agreed to refund me as well. However, it took two weeks and multiple calls to get my money back. I checked YELP and saw that this company has a history of overcharging customers.

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation I had Ace's come out on 6/1/22 to fix my garage door opener, job #XXXXXXXX

I had Ace's come out on 6/1/22 to fix my garage door opener, job #XXXXXXXX. They replaced 2 springs and balanced the door, but then we found out the motor wasn't working either. We didn't want to replace the whole unit with Ace's because they didn't have our lift ***. The repair guy was angry and rude because he didn't have his tools or the parts he needed. After Ace's left, we realized it took two people to open the door manually and it was practically impossible because it was so heavy. We called *** garage door for another opinion and they found that the wrong size springs were installed and the motor wasn't broken, Ace's just didn't reprogram it. We asked for a refund, but Ace's was rude and only offered to fix their mistake. We signed a contract after the work was done and weren't informed of their policy until 24 hours later. Ace's came back on 7/1/22 while *** was here and said they would refund us in a few working days. They took the springs with them, but we didn't receive the refund by ***. We called and were told to call back on *** and now they're saying it might take 10 more days. *** found numerous mistakes made by Ace's and they admitted their mistakes and fired our repair tech.

I'm really mad at Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation. They took my money and didn't even do the work. They said they could come on Jan 7, but then they didn't show up. I called and they said they couldn't come until Jan 12, but I had already turned away another company. I told them not to cash my check, but they did anyway. I called and left messages, but they didn't call me back. Finally, they said they would refund my money, but they still haven't. Every time I call, they just hang up on me. I asked for their mailing address so I could send a certified letter, but they won't give it to me. This is really frustrating and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Ace didn't give me back my $280. They fixed my garage door spring on May 5, but after 9 days, my garage door got stuck midway. I called the technician who serviced my garage, but he didn't respond to my call or text message. I called the office, but there was no answer. So, I called another company who fixed my garage door for $195. I called the office again and asked for a refund of $280, but they told me to email my request. After I sent the email, the technician called me and yelled at me for giving a bad review. I explained that I only requested a refund through email. Later, I received an email response denying my refund request because I called another company to fix my garage door. I explained that I didn't receive a copy of their warranty or a receipt for services rendered. I did what the technician told me to do, but the office never called me back. I expected better customer service from a company with a "Diamond" rating. I still haven't received a response to my rebuttal from Ace.
