Rebate denial
I purchased contacts in Oct 2020, revived a rebate tear sheet and my original receipt from my eye doctor. I completed the online portion of the rebate, mailed in my information, and was denied. I emailed customer service and was told to resubmit, so I did and was then told my purchase date written on my receipt was incorrect.
Great contacts, but horrible customer service. I wish they didn't offer the rebate opportunity if they won't fulfill it.
Desired outcome: A rebate for my purchase.

I have used acuvue oasys brand contacts in the past and noticeably had issues but I did not know how to prove it was from this brand. I had to have a surgery to remove the abrasion on my eye. A horrible painful HIDEOUS abrasion. Luckily, then I was in the air force with strong insurance and could afford it. Now, years later, I try them again and sure enough, in less than two weeks time the same type of abrasion is showing up. It is painful and scary. I want a full refund for the year supply I was just scammed into and to take J&J to court. This is unacceptable in the least.
Contact rebate
I purchased contacts in mid February for my two daughters and wife. Spent over $1, 600 for daily contacts after insurance . The contacts came with a rebate for $225 each user so I was pretty excited to get some of my
money back. Rebate ran until June 30th.
After coming home I put the paperwork with all my other important paperwork I was going to complete soon like my taxes. Then COVID hit and like many other families my world spun out of control. Job changed, kids at home changed, life changed. Paperwork got put on hold. Even the government pushed back taxes.
Memorial Day weekend is when I finally got all my paperwork that had been piling up completed including this rebate and my taxes.
I received a rejection email from Acuvue because I had not submitted within 60 days. And when I asked nicely to reconsider as we, like most Americans, were impacted by COVID-19. I was told that they extended the 60 days to 90 and I missed it by 10 days. And they weren't going back on that. But I could read their very long list of terms and conditions that is written in really small print. I didn't realize that COVID only last 30 days.
Buyer beware—I've never liked rebates and honestly thought that they did away with them a long time ago. Don't get trapped into the marketing lights of a rebate with this company. They have enough small print that you'll never get a dime of it. Which is why this company will NEVER get another penny from me. Shame on Acuve for not stepping up and not honoring a rebate when they got their money. Shows the true heart of this company which is nothing but greed!
total scam. I followed the instruction to the letter and sent in what they asked for in order to get the reward for the purchase. Three weeks later I received an email stating they needed a photo of the boxes that the contacts came in otherwise they were not processing my reward. I called company and said it does not ask for a photo of the box, and that the instructions ask for the receipt. Receipt was sent in. I will not be buying from them again. If they do not want to honor the rewards then they should not offer it.

For 3 years in a row I've submitted rewards after purchasing a years worth of contacts. Each year the submission is denied and when I call they approve it with no changes leading me to believe it's an automatic denial process. Once it gets approved it's a nightmare to obtain the card. This year the address was incorrect and could not be rectified, I made numerous calls and sent emails to Hello World and got either no response or no assistance. I'm done using Acuve contacts for myself and my children.
acuvue oasys
When I went to my old doctor for these contacts after having a break from acuvue I was upset the doctors kept pushing me to get these contacts. I was happy with the ones I was using. Very since using oasys im in hell with my eyes. Multiple styes, I have this horrible itchy feeling about once a package like there is dirt in my eyes. At times it is unbearable. When I complained they refunded the cost but made no offer for the $200 for the appointment and for settling with all this pain they caused me. I would like to take part in a class action against them.
acuvue oasis for astigmatism
I purchased a 6 month supply of the 2 week contacts back in April. When I opened up a new left contact lens from the box it was ripped then I opened another one and it was also ripped. I am usually extremely satisfied by these contacts but was extremely upset to discover not one but two ripped contacts in the same box. Has this ever happened before? I have been wearing these contacts for many years and never had this problem.

This is regarding the Acuvue Rewards Program. I bought a year supply of contacts and my doctor gave me a $50 cash back rewards flyer. The flyer directed me to this site to then create a login, and pretty much give them ALL of my info. Name, Address, phone #, email. Im sure they got my IP address as well. When I was done, I decided to reach out and ask if I can get a check please (since the $50 will be going towards my eye doctor bill). they directed me to 3 different phone numbers, most left me on hold, promised a call back, and never called me back. I sent a few messages out and they said they could would not honor a check only a prepaid visa card. I do not want this. This left me puzzled. as I begged for them to please issue me a check, they would not honor this request for a loyal customer for many years. I am now letting the public know, DONT bother going through there rewards process! it's a sham! I'm not in the process of filing a claim with the BBB as there are 2 issues here. 1) false advertising (no check). 2) they have almost everything they need to capture my identity, and they will be profiting off of it. (selling my information). If I receive a single advertisement from them in the mail, I will probably think about legal council as now it's harassment.
unfilled rewards/reimbursement

I have been a wearer of your Acuvue contact lenses for years and this the first time I'm actually angry and disappointed concerning your client service. Back in April of 2018, I submitted the voucher through the website for rewards/reimbursement for the year supply of contacts I purchased. Fastward until about a week or so ago, I realized when opening a new pair of contacts, I would need a new eye appointment soon for more. It reminded me of rewards/reimbursement I had not received (clearly, I had completely forgot about it). Stil having the paperwork, I contacted your customer service and was told they could not locate my entry. I was then told to resubmit with my information. I did, and received an email confirming so. To my disappointment, I was told that because I didn't submit the entry within 60 days of original purchase could no longer receive the rewards/reimbursement. Surprised, I contacted Clint service again and was told, no. I then went back-and-forth (being told thanks for my understanding, I can resubmit when I buy new contacts this year) ), because I didn't submit within the time frame, I was no longer eligible. I was told this several times, I responded with an email:
clearly, this is an automated email... I did submit my voucher within the time limits. When I realized I had never received the reward, I was told to ‘resubmit'. It's absolutely ridiculous that acuvue would not honor a legitimate claim, that was initially submitted within the time limit.I'm expecting a phone call, from a manager, to discuss if you still aren't willing to honor the rewards.

I received an email response saying I could call client service if I had any other concerns. Working with clients everyday, I can't believe how I was just dismissed. I realize that there needs to have time limits for such things, however I am not in the wrong. This needs to be honored.

I have used acuvue for 20 years. Today I grabbed the two contacts I was going to for the day and when I ripped it off from the rest of the row one of my contacts was stuck between two and ripped. Please see photo. The contact was never sitting in the dip created. It was outside under the foil packaging.

acuvue oasys contacts
My daughter just started wearing these accuvue Oasys, one tore/fragmented in her eye . They where new, she is a germ a phobic, there is something going on in the manufacturing process, and she also reported a mucously slime/film in the affected eye. It appears there is a breach in the integrity of the lens, and J&J needs to be forthcoming and address this on there on accord before litigation initiated. She ended up in urgent care, and is on ABT therapy, cannot drive, and has to follow up with opthalmologist.

24Aug2018. New lens out of packaging, was misshaped (not a bowl like shape) I put a lens in my left eye, and it didn't feel quite right, I wore the lens approximately 7 hours, the lens was mis-aligned, was dry and 'scratchy'. After removing the lens, my L eye hurt, and was painful especially when I blinked. I had a yellow sticky discharge on the evening of 24Aug2018, which disappeared within one day. The eye pain lasted to 28Aug2018 (without further discharge).
I'm wondering if that lens had a small tear. I still have the lens, if you would like for me to send it back.

I have been battling eye problems since last March. I went to my primary doctor and an eye doctor, along with contacting Johnso and Johnson and Alcon...the makers of Clearcare Plus.. I’ve inserted eye antibiotics, antihistamines, steroid eye drops, wetting drops, and oral antihistamine, to help, along with going weeks without my contacts for weeks. This is September and I’m still have problems wearing my contacts. Johnson and Johnson informed me that accuvue oasis and clear care plus interact and have caused patient’s eye irritation. I feel they, Johnson and Johnson, along with Alcon, should have contacted the patients/consumer, or at least put warnings on the boxes if each product. I’ve gone through hell with my eyes itching, red, and painful, with vision changes.
Rebates revoked!!!!
Last year I submitted my rebate and had to do it several times because the website kept dying on me. I didn't realize until months later that I never received my rebate. I thought it had just been messed up because of the website kept going down. This year I go to the eye doctor and was told about another rebate so this time I call and find out I had been sent an EMAIL back for the rebate and I had let it expire so I wasn't eligible anymore. That is a bunch of BS. I have been wearing Acuvue Oasys for 20 years. The last time I did the rebate they sent me a Visa prepaid card in the mail with no issues. Now your telling me I have to wait for an email to then submit again for it to be sent? Not cool. There was no kinda of resolution and I even spoke to the supervisor who didn't do anything but keep trying to blow smoke. I have been a loyal customer for year and spent tons of money on your product. The fact that you won't honor a $35.00 rebate is a joke. That really tells me how much I am valued as a customer and in the future will just by the least amount and get glasses. Thanks for the Superior Customer Service. NOT!
Never received rebate
I submitted paperwork for an Acuvue rebate in April 2014 and was told it would take 8-10 weeks to receive. It is now late August and I have only been told repeatedly by customer service reps that there are "delays." I am informed that the company is having some financial problems and that is causing the delays. Although I have been a loyal Acuvue user for the last 10 years, I will not be purchasing future products from them due to their misleading advertising.

Trail pair in one week
I ordered a pair of trail contacts for my new priscription as now i have Astigmatism in my eye. So my doctor recommended me to have astimatism contacts..So i placed an order for a trail pair at first to try on and then i would order the supply of contacts for a year.. So apparently Astigmatisum contacts should take about a 2 weeks to come...but now ita been 4 weeks and i still havent got my pair of trail contacts...they keep telling me tht i will get it by next week...but ita been 4 WEEKS now..and my eyes are in extreme pain..as i have no contacts to wear and they are straining too much too...i keep getting headaches due to tht too...now ths is the kind of customer service they provide to their customers...i mean if i were to order 1yr supply i would get it right away..in one weeks becuz tht bussiness for them...but since i am ordering only trail pair contacts they dont care...becus its no bussiness to them...i am extremely frustrated frm them...now due to this infinite time of deley in reciveing my contacts..NOW IN THIS INGINITE DELAY..SINCE MY EYES R STRAINING TOO MUCH...IF MY PRISCRIPTION WERE TO WENT UP..WHO THE HELL IS TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS..JOHN AND JOHNSON...SHOULD I SUE THEM FOR THIS TORTURE...i want to tell every single friend of mine and strangers on what kind of service i am getting...and i would tell them not to ever buy contacts frm them ever...now if johnson and johnson or acuve oasis has the oppertunity to read this...contact me asap...[protected]@hotmail.com and if they dont...i willl jst consider that Johnson and Johnson and Acuve Oasis DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL...AND DO NOT HAVE ANY SENSE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE...
