Needed a good, knowledgeable plumber and luckily we got ***. Hes a top notch professional and very helpful and friendly too. Before him, we had another nameless person try to assist us but he didnt return. In addition, he didnt provide exact details on what he sold us. Unfortunately, the item was not appropriate for what we needed. Instead we found it at a supply warehouse & had it installed by ***. It was perfect. Thanks to Christina, ***, & Addarios for making us happy w/their service, consideration and price!

Buyers beware!The estimate to replace a kitchen faucet was over $540. I was charged $119 fee for the few minutes it took to provide an estimate. There was never a mention of this fee and it caught me and my family completely off guard. *** to say we thought both fee and estimate exorbitant. He offered a price of $400 but that did not include the $119. My estimate for prior work was in the neighborhood of $200 - $250 on the very high side and we supplied the new faucet. The plumber appeared professional, polite, and came equipped. We felt lucky to have gotten away with just $119.

I was very pleased with the people who answered my call and set up the appointment. We were interested in adding to our mini split set up. Prompt return call, very pleasant people to work with. Plumber spent two hours diagnosing, testing, and trying to resolve my heating issue for only $149. Unfortunately it was more complicated than expected and couldn't be fixed that visit, but plumber gave me two options and price quotes for both, with no pressure to make a decision right then. Quotes were expensive, but that's the reality of replacement and repairs these days; it's part of being a homeowner. Observing alongside him as he tried to fix the issue I was confident he did everything he could, and I agreed with his conclusions.

I strongly advise against using *** for any service. Our AC broke in early July and after calling them to our apartment to check on what may have caused the issue, they twice gave the wrong advice, overcharged us without fixing the issue over the course of several months. Their staff were extremely unprofessional in person and at times, confrontational. They never checked what the error codes meant and did not correctly diagnose the root issue. They quoted us thousands of dollars for an incorrect solution and after many attempts to try to reach them to have our money refunded, we have not heard anything back from them.

The company went into their bank account without permission and charged them double a few weeks later. When my parents called them about the issue they were promised a refund but then charged a third time with false notes indicating "repairs" in the statement. My parents were then left no other choice but to report them to their credit card's fraud department. The money has been returned thanks to the credit card company but my parents were forced to cancel their card and get a new one because the company was illegally going into their accounts without permission.
Besides all this, when talking to two of their technicians, I could tell they had no idea what they were talking about. The boiler work was even outsourced to another company because their technicians are completely clueless. I work with contractors on a regular basis and work in HVAC myself. This company is one of the scummiest companies I have ever witnessed. Not to mention they canceled at least 8 appointments on us at the last second which used up all of my father's time off from work for nothing. Their ratings on certain review platforms are 5 stars but these platforms are notoriously unreliable for ratings, if you check Yelp they only have a 1 and a half star rating.

The representative came over for the estimate and despite unknowns with supply chain, confidently gave us an 8-week timeline between signing and install. The team came through with that promise and after some setbacks with scheduling, and some re-scheduling on my end, we had a new shower and tub surround roughly 8 weeks from signing. During the install an issue came up with venting that the town inspector wouldn't pass. The plumber on site that day came up with a solution that was viable so even though I was angry about the extra expense, they set up the additional work and had their team here the next week to install the vent and patch the wall. The whole time, everyone from Addarios was respectful, professional, and understanding. I even got to meet the heir - the third generation of the family business! And bravo to the customer service representative for handling all my questions and worries; he's a true professional. We are happy with our finished product and the commitment of this team. Today, March 29, 2022, I had Addarios Services install a Bosch air conditioning and heat pump combination. Initially, I was slightly nervous after reading all the negative reviews on the ComplaintsBoard.com website. I reached out to the office and left a message, asking for a callback at their convenience. I would like to extend high praises to the entire team, starting with my initial sales representative and including the sales and service manager, as well as the two installers who did the heavy lifting. The electricians and the pair responsible for duct cleaning were also commendable. Each team member was exceedingly polite, professional, and tidy, leaving my home spotless. We encountered a minor issue early on, but it was nothing out of the ordinary, and they all performed wonderfully. The Bosch system, which is indeed associated with the well-known appliance brand, is highly regarded despite not being as famous as its competitors. The crew efficiently removed all parts of the old air conditioning unit and installed the new system seamlessly. The entire project, from duct cleaning to removal and installation, was executed professionally. I extend my gratitude to Addarios for a job well done. I felt compelled to post this on the ComplaintsBoard.com website due to the initial bad reviews that had concerned me. This company deserves recognition for its excellence in sales, workmanship, and professionalism. I contacted Addario for their $129 Furnace Repair Consultation which is described as: "We will come to your home; Present you with personalized solutions on what to do next; Evaluate the situation; Deliver you cost-effective offers" etc. It also says "Upfront pricing." They were able to get a tech over earlier, so I ran home from work and met him at my house. He took a look, then grabbed his sensor and waved it over the furnace for about 10 min, then said it's not leaking now. Then told me it would be an extra $100 for the gas detection; I said I wasn't aware of that, and he said I should have been told on the phone that the $129 is just to get him to the door. Well, I wasn't told, and he didn't say that this was going to cost any additional money before he did it. I signed the paperwork and he left, but I became increasingly frustrated. This is a dishonest practice where they don't tell you what they'll charge upfront, and you just get a surprise on your invoice for whatever they feel like at the end. I complained to them, and they said they would get back to me within a week. No luck after a week and a half, so I contacted my credit card company. No luck with them, so I am leaving this review to warn others. I'd be fine with having to pay an additional fee, but not if they don't disclose it upfront. It's dishonest, and if they're willing to do this on a small consultation, what are they willing to do on a large job? I have a faulty gas boiler that did not ignite. I found Addario's Services online and called them. They claimed expertise in gas boiler issues. I paid $149 for a consultation. The technician arrived, but then wanted $350 more for diagnosis, and had to consult the manufacturer for help. It seemed he lacked knowledge on a common boiler model. I felt Addario's Services was exploiting me financially and wasn't being transparent.

Another company fixed it by replacing a fuse and connecting wires properly, costing $400. I've tried to get a refund from the first company, but after 4 days, no response. This company charges without solving issues or taking responsibility for errors. I don't recommend them for their poor service and lack of professionalism.

STAY ***! We had a new fridge delivered recently and we all know how the delivery crew will not reconnect the water line... I could try to connect and am not interested in Noah's ***. My wife contacted *** this morning, 3/22, and explained in detail what we needed including a convenient shut-off valve in case of an issue and they told her we can do it today for $119.00. We though that was great and told them let's do it. The tech arrived, evaluated the situation and informed us it would be $350.00. ***, what? If you want the shut-off, that's $458.00. We were told it was going to be $119.00 and we thought that was fair thinking a pro could do this in 15-20 minutes, tops. "Oh, the $119 is just for the service call." We told the phone rep exactly what we needed and were quoted $119.00 THEY JUST WANTED THE $119 *** JUST SHOWING UP! We explained again to the tech who did not care. "***, they must have miscommunicated." Ya' think?! At this point, we already were out $119, I should have thrown-him-out, and decided to get it done with the shut-off. He needed to go to a supply house for a part and would be back in 30 minutes. The whole job took less than 90 minutes including the supply house run. All of them were extremely polite, professional and clean and respected my home , not a speck of dust was left behind ! We had a slight hiccup early on but nothing Ext ordinary and they all did a wonderful job. By the way the Bosch system, yes the same as the appliance company is very well respected even though not as well known as the regular competitors. The crew removed all the old a/c unit parts and installed the new ones without a hitch and the whole project from duct cleaning to removal and installation was done professioally so Thank you Addarios for a job well done !. TLDR: Not worth the money; go elsewhere.I'll start by saying it was my mistake for not being over-bearing on the contract details and lacking information regarding the job; don't make my mistake. Our rep(***) made verbal promises that weren't written down accordingly, and then became unresponsive and unwilling to work with us when I started to bring these issues up. Technicians were mostly decent guys; they did the work but had an air of "this *** happens all the time" about them when it comes to issues and complaints. The guys that came in and installed the furnace just left the old exhaust fan behind the new unit and left bits and pieces all over(screws, plastic bits, metal shavings, etc). There were several items that we had discussed but were either not included in the final contract, or were described differently in writing. One star is solely for the quality of the work done and the time taken. Again, my mistake for not thoroughly reviewing the contract details and being uninformed going into it, but lesson learned.Final thoughts and suggestions to folks out there looking to work with this company(specifically for ***):-Don't go with ***; there are plenty of better options. Choose someone else that's been in the business longer, and has a better reputation.-If for whatever reason, you have to go with ***, make sure you have absolutely everything discussed included in the invoice. If it's not written down, don't sign the contract.-When reviewing multiple quotes, expect these guys to be either the most expensive option, or amongst the top. Do not equate that price tag with quality; these guys do nothing above average. This is the kind of company that lives by the phrase "overpromise and underdeliver".If someone from *** is actually reading this and made it this far, please don't reach out. The most satisfying part of the job was it being over with and not having to deal with your company anymore. Let me save you the time and money by saying I don't care about your bs family club plan. Addario's Services is a contractor that I hired to lower my heat and electric bill. Unfortunately, they have not followed through with the contract in a timely manner. Instead of lowering my bill, it has tripled due to the lack of professional service promised. We signed a contract on October 6, and there are still issues with the $15,000 installation of a new furnace, new condenser, heat pump, and thermostat. It's been a frustrating experience dealing with them.

We started to have second thoughts now that we knew we had another big expense coming. We asked for a refund and Addario's agreed, but they asked to keep $500 as a good will deposit in case we decided to move forward with them later. When we did decide to complete the project later on, a friend recommended we get an estimate from a company he knew. They offered us a better deal and we went with them. When we asked Addario's for a refund of our $500, they refused, despite never scheduling the *** work or completing any of the *** work at our house. We think they should refund our money.

We called Addario's Services on 6/25 when our AC stopped working. It was a hot day and we were in a rush. They were the only ones who answered our call. We set up an appointment for 6/28. The technician was here for less than 30 minutes. He said the circuit board was broken and needed to be replaced. They needed to order the part, so we had to pay half up front. They only took cash, so we wrote a check for $707.70. We waited a week for the part to come in. On 7/6, a different technician came to our house to replace the part. He didn't seem to know anything about our first assessment. He looked at the system and found out it was actually a contactor piece that was broken. He replaced it and got our system going in about an hour and a half. He said we didn't owe any more money. We contacted them to ask about the costs. They gave us a receipt with no explanation of costs. They said the costs were the same, but we found out that the part they replaced was much cheaper than the one they said was broken. We looked online and found out that other people had the same problem with Addario's Services. We want a refund and to be charged for the correct services. We tried to contact them, but they haven't responded.

We got a quote and they asked for a deposit right away to start the job. After we paid the deposit and scheduled the project to start a few days later, no one showed up. The deposit check was cashed right away. We never accepted the quote or signed anything electronically, but Addario's keeps saying we did and that their refund period is only 3 business days, which the salesperson didn't tell us. After the no-show, I contacted the salesperson and he finally said he needed to send a technician to look at our electric panel. The technician came and the salesperson said we needed to pay an extra $5,000 to upgrade the electric panel for the project to be done. When we asked to cancel the job because it was too expensive, he said it was too late past the cancellation policy. Addario's is breaking the Consumer Protection Law by not clearly posting their refund/return policy and not giving us the information we needed. The salesperson said the parts were already ordered, but wouldn't give us a receipt. We asked to speak to his manager, but he kept redirecting us back to himself. We just want our deposit back from Addario's Service. We've been trying to get it back for months now.

I told them that we needed our dryer vent cleaned. They said they'd come out and give me a quote (No cost No obligation) and then schedule the service for another time. I asked if someone could come out and do the cleaning the same day. She said she had someone in my area on Thursday and he would come but there was now $119.00 charge to come out give us a quote and then do the work. I said ok. We scheduled the service for 10:00-12:00 on Thursday 1/28. The Tech arrived at our house and told my husband and I that he was not doing any work and just giving us a quote. He looked at the dryer vent from the attic as well at the outside of our home and then went to his truck to make some phone calls to write out the quote. He then handed us a quote to REPLACE the dryer vent system in the attic for $1700.00. To which my husband said, 'No thank you.' Our home is 5 years old and the dryer vent does not need to be replaced, we just wanted it to be cleaned out. My husband gave him a check for $119.00 but I was unaware of this until after the tech left our home. I then called the company and spoke to a representative, he sent an email to the Service Manager and copied me. The Service Manager never replied to the email so I called the following Monday and spoke with the representative again. He put me through to the Service Manager's cell phone. After explaining the situation to him, he assured me that he would make this situation right and was on his way back to the office where he would review the notes and call me back that day. He also said that he did not understand why our vent was not cleaned? I never heard from the Service Manager so I called again the following day and spoke with the representative. The representative spoke to the Service Manager who was leaving for the day and the Service Manager told the representative to send him a 'reminder email' to call me in the morning. I never heard from the Service Manager so I called again. I got the representative again, who called the Service Manager's cell again. The representative came back and told me that there is an order in which they get back to people and I am still a priority and on a list and the Service Manager will get back to me. I told the representative and the Service Manager that all I want is to be refunded the $119.00 that they took from us and did not need the Service Manager to call me back. They claim that only the Service Manager can make the decision of a refund. I asked to speak with the owner, the representative told me that he would pass that along. I also sent Mr. Addario a message outlining the situation on his social media account. He has not read it to date. At this point, they are putting me off and do not care to resolve my issue. They did not do the work that they said they could do. They charged us $119.00 for nothing other than an inadequate service tech arriving at my home and making an absurd attempt to make more money off of cleaning a dryer vent to replace a system that is 5 years old.

He said the capacitor might be bad, which is a common problem. He changed the capacitor without telling us the price, and later quoted $540. We found the same capacitor online for $105, but the technician only gave us a 15% discount and asked for $462. He threatened to take the capacitor away if we didn't pay him, which was unprofessional. We paid him in full, even though it wasn't agreed before the repair. Addarios Services took advantage of our situation and gave us a total runaround.
The A/C worked fine until 06/14, and then it lost its cooling. We called Addarios Services again, but they didn't show up for the appointment they gave us for 06/18. When we called them, they said we needed to replace the compressor and flush the existing refrigerant and fill new 8 lbs of refrigerant. They sent us a quote of $4000 and wanted 50% of the estimate to be prepaid. We asked why we needed to flush and refill the refrigerant, but they didn't respond to our emails or phone calls. We were left without A/C with heat waves continuing, and our technician refused to come unless we paid more. This was a classic example of leaving the customer stranded and extorting exorbitant money.
We called another service company, ***, who had repaired our condensation pump in the past. The technician came on 06/28 and told us that the refrigerant was low and needed approximately 2 lbs. He filled 2 lbs of refrigerant, and the A/C was running with cooling. He put a dye in the system to diagnose the leak and charged us $1136 for diagnostic, refrigerant filling, and putting a dye in the system. The technician came back on 07/28 to find out the leak, but he couldn't find it. He mentioned that there was no active leak in the system and that all that was required was to add 2 lbs of refrigerant that leaked due to faulty repair by Addarios Services.
The refrigerant leaked when Addarios Services technician was replacing the capacitor, but he didn't inform us of the problem. The *** technician diagnosed the problem correctly and mentioned that there was no active refrigerant leak. Therefore, the only time a refrigerant can leak is during A/C repair, which was done by Addarios. A/C systems need to be repaired carefully; otherwise, refrigerants can leak, and that's what happened in our case when technicians from Addarios Services made a mistake in repairing the A/C system and didn't own up to it. This is why we are seeking reimbursement.
In total, we paid $300 + $462 + $1136 ($1898) for the A/C repair, due to mishandling by the Addarios Services technician. Also, it took us a month to get our A/C back up and running, which was a common issue and usually a quick fix. The only part that needed to be replaced was the capacitor ($105). Instead, we had to get 2 lbs of refrigerant filled, put a dye in the A/C system, and pay the diagnostic fee to *** to diagnose the leak ($1136) on top of ($862) to Addarios Services. If we had trusted *** diagnosis without taking a second opinion, we would have paid $4000 and unnecessarily replaced a working compressor. We felt ripped off and victimized by Addarios Services and would never have figured out that the diagnostic was incorrect.

Toilet seat that was installed last year started to crack. I called the customer service team and in less than a week had an appointment to have a replacement installed. Unfortunately, the new one ordered was almond, instead of white. The service team promptly left to find the correct color. They returned about an hour later, but the seat they purchased didn't fit. One technician left to get another seat while the other touched up some caulking on the sink area, which I requested. The technician returned again in an hour and installed a perfect wooden seat, which was way better than the original plastic one. Although a bit of a Goldilocks story, the gentlemen were unfailingly helpful and determined to succeed.
