good day

I have an acive loan with African bank and this month on the 27.10.2009.three amounts came off my bank account and were as there was only suppose to be one amount of R704.so please please please refund me back my money asap.I have other bills to settle so I want my money now!You will ned to refund me the other R704 and the R649 deductions back because you are only suppose to deduct one amount of R704 only!

Useless service, Taking money fraudulantly!
THE INCIDENT
Fri 26 Mar

African bank has taken money off my account in the same month three times, I have been fighting with them for a whole week now and am struggling to get my own money back.
I have sent a million faxes and each time I phone I spend over half an hour on the phone and either get cut off, or rude responses, receptionist staff lying, putting me through to incorrect extension where I get cut off all the time. This is unacceptable service.
Money is being taken from my account illegally, money should only be taken on the date of debit as per the debit order that was signed by myself.

Nobody calls a person back lies lies lies the whole day. When I ask to speak to someone on a higher level than a supervisor I get pushed through to the call centre and cut off. I spend the whole day on the phone. What is going to be done about the atroscious service of AFRICAN BANK>

African Bank

I've applied for a credit card about 3 months ago and never herad from them only when i phone their head office i discovered the that the application was succesfull, so i needed to take bank statements as well as my payslip to them to proceed i've been waiting 2 weeks for them to create my company on their system after i've been told that it would only take 2 days (wellington & Mbekweni branch)

I made a loan at african bank in jan 09 and my loan period was for 9 months the last moth a paid a smaler amout deu to last in stallment, but for some stange reason i am still paying that last installment for the last 4 months i went in twice to solve this problem at yet it is still happening. they told me that the problem was fixed that that loan was closed and all the amounts over charged was moved to my new loan but yet it still continues.

I went to african bank to ask for settlement on my wife account, they called their legal department to get it. When l appoint attoney to remove the judgement given to my wife, they(african bank) gave me the recission of judgement, later l got a message that l am still owing legal fees which l fully feel is a rip off because when l asked them the settlement they suppose to include them then. I spoke to the lady called Patricia and she accepted that was a human error. Now they must sort out it themself, l still not happy about intrest charged from those accounts but because african bank got powers on us l had to. NOT THIS TIME. They must pay their attoneys not me. This time l am ready to fight them even if l have to use my last cent. I WILL NOT PAY THAT MONEY.

I have settled mu account in MAY I went to the branch in Jabulani mall branch two weeks ago and they told me i have to pay interest i can't understand what interest i have to pay because i have settled that loan and the call centre keep on calling and demanding the proof that i have settled the account but funny enough in the branch it shows that i have settled the amount and i have found the reference number 6494099 please the only debt i have with you is a credit card not a loan please make the follow up and come and contact me.Please give my feed back TODAY

Good day. I applied for a loan at African bank with their Eloff street branch in Joburg on 14 November 2012. The pre-approval was done and I signed all the documents. But up to now, 6 days down the line the loan is still on hold. This is not good service at all. I went to the branch and nobody seems to know why the loan is on hold. I made numerous calls to head office on their number [protected], they simply put me on hold for 20 minutes without helping me. I don't know what to do. I 'm getting sick of an expectation that was raised but never fulfilled. Who can help me at African bank head office? My name is Muchineripi Chitita. I a loan which is in arrears with African bank, and I spoke to them regarding payment arrangements but to my disgust my sister is receiving SMS and messages about details of my loans from the balance owing to overdue amount, so my concern is who else has details of personal details if they have a nerve to discuss things with my sister without confirming I am related to her so the privacy claws doesn't apply with African bank? Or are they that ignorant or negligent? And the so called company VVM that they handed me over is using some dodgy email and its hard to get hold of...meaning people have easy access to my I'd number, names and surnames from African bank reckless behaviour.owing African bank doesn't meaning exposing my private confidential information to justanyone.
I am looking for a number for their CEO & head of collections to lay a formal complain about this and considering taking legal steps cause my personal private details are just displayed for everyone to access and see.
My sister will taking legal action as well as she's been harassed on her phone for something that doesn't concern her.

I have a credit card with the bank and funds were transferred from my credit card to my account without my authority. When I visited the branch, I was referred to the nearest SAPS to open a fraud case.

What is the banks fraud and forensic department of the bank responsible for?

Payment agreement I made on 26/05/23 was R1000 a month on 27/05/23 first debit order was R2000 second debit order taken was another R1000 on the same day R3000 was removed from my account and I never agreed to do so I am highly upset that money is being taken from my account without my permission

i opened account 3 weeks back ii have been going up and down my account is not active i have been on the phone since this morning no one is helping the only guy that helped wat Laurence at transactions

i am still waiting for call back its to much now i spoke to 10 different agents still no assiatncve i am very disappointed
