Customer service and false advertisement and refund
Agoda has TGE worst customer reps. They are rude and are liars. I've had a couple incidents dealing with Agoda. 1) I was humiliated by the hotel manager he kept trying to come to my hotel room before check out especially while I was getting dressed I called Agoda and the only help they provided is that I need to leave before police comes. It wasn't even check out! And then The hotel manager through all my stuff outside agoda was refusing to refund 2) they have been falsifying their discounts and have charged me twice and they don't even give you the best price guarantee if u find it cheaper else where everything is an issue with Agoda! THEY OWE ME MONEY AND THE FACT THAT IVE HAD MY PRIVACY INVADED MORE THAN ONCE I SHOULD FILE A LAWSUIT I EVEN CONTACTED BBB ABD TGEY REFUSED TO EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE COMPLAINT! I WANT MY MONEY FROM AGODA THEY ARE THE ONES IM BOOKING THROUGH!

WITH DEEP GRIEF & EXTREME PAIN I WRITE that I feel cheated by AGODA. In spite of making full advance payment through AGODA platform, Hotel denied the booking acceptance. When literally pleading and begging on AGODA customer care Number - 80003305203 (ALL CALL RECORDINGS CAN BE TRACED AND LISTENED) for long hours and days, finally the issue remained unresolved and AGODA refused to confirm the booking to the hotel. AGODA persistently sent me confirmation mail, booking confirmation, Receipt Voucher but even then the hotel denied the same. Then I was forced to beg to AGODA to sent the confirmation mail to HOTEL directly that the booking amount has been paid in full in advance. AGODA simply refused to confirm the same to HOTEL. Now I have been held captive in the HOTEL and not allowed to checkout unless I pay the amount as worked out by HOTEL. IT was a nightmare for me as till date I never encountered with such a horrific experience. I had scheduled plan ahead of me which I had to change. WHO will bear the consequences of same.? ME and ONLY ME... Correct?
THE AGODA CALL CENTRE, after literally arguing and denying to sent the confirmation to hotel directly, finally disconnected my call after a long 2 hours 10 minutes last call duration. THE CALL WAS DISCONNECTED DELIBERATELY WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPTANCE.
IS THIS A JOKE GOING AROUND. I plea to both the hotel and the AGODA to tell me the exact consumer forum, or police department, where I can go and brief my ORDEAL in detail so that no other guest bears such unfortunate and intolerable torture which I had to face alone.
I simply fail to understand as to why such kind of mental trauma and harassment has to be witnessed by me even when I has paid the full amount in advance to AGODA. If at all some kind of communication gap is prevailing at any stage then WHY it cannot be resolved between the HOTEL and AGODA directly? Even if it is not possible then even after my mediation both the hotel and AGODA are standing stiff on their ground, "Hotel refusing to consider the confirmation mail send by AGODA to me"... "AGODA refusing to sent the same confirmation to Hotel"... due to which such a deadlock emerged. AND THE ONLY ONE WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS is ME (giving my money along with time).

I paid an amount of Php 920.00 for my hotel (Reddoorz) Hotel in Tacloban using agoda, unfortunately said accomodation which I paid via 7/11 was cancelled to my dismay. Hence my request for refund. Otherwise, this matter will reach to Central Bank of the Philippines of Department of Finance via Formal Complaint.

Terrible Noise Pollution
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to you in regards to my terrible experience with Travelodge at Birmingham Central.
I booked my stay via Agoda on 3rd September at 10:09 PM, in order to plan ahead for my birthday, however, I had an awful experience at the hotel. It was so atrocious that I ended up having to book another hotel at 2:00 AM on October 16th and therefore, having to lose out on an entire nights stay.
I only managed to get 3 hours worth of sleep during that night as the constant thudding noises from outside combined with the noisy people who were staying opposite us. They were constantly shouting in the corridor and entering/ leaving their hotel room, which was the main reasons for my lack of sleep. In addition, the hot water was dangerously hot, which did cause slight injury to my left hand. Moving forward, I would suggest a hot water sticker on the mirror to give people advanced notice.
Due to the combination of this poor experience, it majorly inconvenienced the mood of my (what was meant to be) a restful weekend stay for my birthday but it was the complete opposite. I had such a traumatic experience, that I will no longer be visiting any of the branches moving forward and will certainly not be recommending any friends and family in a hurry. Moreover, I would like to request a full refund for the major inconvenience, which will compensate for my extremely negative experience.
I do have a combination of voice and video recordings of the noise disturbance and I am happy to send these to you if necessary.
I have contacted a representative from Travelodge, who have suggested that I contact you for a full refund as I purchased the stay via Agoda.

I made the booking on Nov 3 and at that time it was free cancellation but after getting a confirmation email it was turned into non-fundable.

Incomplete booking confirmation details
Last October 30, 2021, I booked an overnight stay (Oct. 31 -Nov.1 ) at a 2-bedroom condo for 2 adults 2 children at Sea wind condominium Davao City. After paying thru credit card, I immediately received a booking confirmation thru email & the booking ID was [protected]. Upon arriving to the address, the guard didn't let us in since the complete details of the condo unit & even the contact # of the condo unit owner were not specified in the booking confirmation thus, we have no way to reach the owner. We even complained a million times to the agoda chat support yet we weren't attended at all. We strongly felt it was a scam. I was even charged more than the price posted.

On Nov 2, 2:14pm IST i booked for a hotel Novotel Kakkanad from Agoda. I got the message that the money was debited from my credit card for the amount of Rs.3359. The page then instantly went to a technical error page which is attached below. However, when I checked my email, I didn't receive any confirmation mail from them. The most preferred outcome will be the confirmation from Agoda regarding my booking. However, a refund of the said amount will also be sufficient.

Scam and the hotel charge me without my attending as promised before

Referring to the matter above, I want to complain about the supplier (hotel: TANJUNG POINT RESIDENCE in Penang), and also Agoda since they still cannot settle this issue.
Before, they promised me that my bookings are valid until the end of this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak, since under MCO order (Movement Control Order) so civilians cannot cross district or state borders.
Then, when I asked to change or amend the date, they refused to accept and claimed that my status was changed to no show. Why simply make my decision and absorb my payment. How can i go there, while at that moment we were in the situation of not being able to go anywhere except buying groceries. What solution will be taken about this matter? They didn't practice as they promised before.
Hotel Stay in London
On the 25th September I had a stay booked in London through Agoda (Booking reference [protected]). We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and found that neither of the booking numbers we had, matched those that the booked hotel had. We were asked to sit while they checked their system.
The hotel staff then called the phone number given as the contact detail and got through to someone with the same name as me who did not know about the booking. We were then accused of fraud and told we would not be able to gain access to the room. As two young women, in an unfamiliar city at around 11pm, this was very scary.
We contacted Agoda who said that they booked through another party so would need to contact them to get the correct booking number. The agent was very kind but this process involved her calling another company that didn't answer. She then emailed them and we were told that they had an hour to respond before Agoda would find us new accommodation. They replied within the hour but this meant in total, it took us almost 2.5 hours to check in and we were exhausted and emotionally drained.
This was not up to any standard of booking I would expect, I was not given the service promised (easy check-in/correct booking info) and was a serious data confidentiality issue as another customer of the same name had all their information in the hotel booking system. I would like a full refund of the cost of the hotel and I believe an internal investigation should be done to stop the GDPR issues seen here.

Hotel Booking
I am returning customer of agoda. I did hotel booking for 18 Dec 2021 along with my flight from Turkish airlines under ticket number [protected] from ISB to IST and from IST to JFK under same ticket number. Hotel I paid agoda for never received booking from agoda

booked and paid for Royal Highland Hotel with Agoda and received confirmation of booking from AGODA
On arrival at hotel was told they were full up and had no arrangement with Agoda. I am 81 years old and very shocked.the hotel let me use the gents toilet to unpack and get changed for the meeting I came to Inverness for.
They tried in vane for over an hour to make contact with Agoda.
I left my case with them and left for my meeting.
later when I had cooled down a bit I managed to book a local hotel for the night.I have traveled a lot in my life but never been so badly treated.
Since getting home I have tried in vain to contact Agoda but seems mission impossible.
They owe me £71.48 and I am at a loss as to how I will recover this money.

Payment issue
I am trying to book 7 nights in Dubai (two rooms) in the month of November on the agoda application. I am trying to make the payment since last two days and I also tried credit card and different debit cards but none of them shows me successful payment. I am literally pissed off of this procedure. Kindly give me the solution as soon as possible because the prices of the rooms are surging at a very exponential rate. I had already received a rate of Rs.68, 422/- with breakfast. And now I am getting the surged charges about 88, 000/-. This is just very unfair on your part. Kindly give me valid payment link on the old rate of Rs.68, 422/- so that I can confirm my booking.
