Air Deccan review: Problems with cancellation of air tickets! 136

This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I had booked a flight from Hyderabad to Kolkata online for 04th March 2007 in the name of Mr. Satyen Parida (PNR 1626926) in Air Deccan. Unfortunately, I wanted to get it canceled on 01st March 2007. However, I kept trying on the net to cancel the ticket online but to no avail as there is no option for cancellation. Further, I tried on the customer care line of Air Deccan as mentioned on their website at least 20 to 25 times. It appeared that all the lines were too busy (don't know in what). Therefore, I had to hire a cab from Gurgaon to New Delhi airport for Rs. 400/- and went to the airport to get my ticket canceled. The uncooperative staff of the said airlines were magnanimous enough to write on my ticket that it has been canceled, although they refused to register my customer complaint. However, the refund to my credit card account is still pending (after nearly a week after it has been canceled). I wonder whether the company is up to committing some fraud or is it just a callous attitude towards the customers.

Beware!

I booked Air Deccan flight from Bangalore to Chennai, unfortunately the amount got transferred twice from my account to Air deccan. As per the Air deccan policy it should be refunded within 14 days. I registered complain about the incident and i got the complaint number also. But still my money is not refunded. If i call to customer care either no one is there to answer nor they are giving the improper answer. The delay of the air deccan is quite normal. Don't trust them!

Ya Sobhan, I completely agree with you. As like you I wanted to cancel two PNR no.s worth Rs 4400. I logged on to the site - no option for cancellation. No interaction with customer care executive on call centre no. for last 5 days.

Then I went to air port office.at hyderabad... there the AIR DECCAn lady gave me the excuse of " SERVER DOWN FOR LAST 8 DAYS, WE CANT DO ANYTHING".

After requesting for 1/2 an hour she took the request & confirmed that PNR is cancelled & has given me the confirmation no also.

But till date if I put the PNR no. & confirmation no. , the ticket status is live.. it is still not cancelled...

If you go to there Airport counter at Hyderabad it is worse than a PRIVATE TOURIST TRAVEL BUS OFFICE.. the kind of excuses they give...

GOD KNOWS HOW THIS AIRLINES IS STILL RUNNING!

Long customer care que response time on phone (infact i didn't get my que cleared at all...after waiting for more than 15 min i had to hung!)

Cunningham road office too isnt responsive to any of the numbers provided in web site. Either they are engaged or phone keeps ringing. Website has outdated info. None of the service here have served the purpose. Customer care has to be taken care!

I have booked one air ticket of Deccan airways from mumbai to bangalore through on-line .

I just wanted to confirm about the ticket , whether this ticket is valid or not but there is no option in Deccan airways to confirm about this.

When ever i call to customer care no body picks up the call , always same message " plx be on-line we will response you soon " but never respond.

Very poor service!

Take this story! I have a Air Deccan Ticket with a valid PNR Number from Bangalore to Delhi (Dated: 16-May-2007). I have the complete ticket with all needed details and Air Deccan Email confirming the ticket details. I want to cancel it. The website doesn't accept PNR Number for cancellation! Amazing. I went to Bangalore Airport. Air Deccan can't find the ticket in their records. And they say, they can't cancel and refund it. They gave some numbers of corporate office. As expected, no body picks up the phone there. This majestic guy at Bangalore airport was "honest" enough in saying that if instead of canceling the ticket, I had come to Bangalore airport on 16-May, they wouldn't have let me board the flight. This is a horrendous experience. I feel shameful to interact with Air Deccan and terrible to be an Indian where there is no law. This company should be sued. I am not now amazed with the allegation of CNN IBN on Air Deccan - the announcement that the dumb Air Deccan guys have tried to respond to on their website. None of their email addresses work. All are exceeding mail-box quota. No phones respond. No call center phone numbers work and on airports, they don't how to handle answers. It just can't be worse.

My experience is almost same like Rakesh, even worse. From Deccan’s website I have got ticket of Hyderabad to Kolkata of 4th May 07 with all the valid documents like printed copy of ticket and email. But when I want to reschedule it amazing thing is happening. Their website is saying that there is no valid entry for my PNR. Their call centers are nothing but cheating or kidding. No operator is receiving the call. Just one recorded voice is being played for even more than 30 minutes. I have tried by sending mails to their refund or feedback Ids which are given in their website. But I am receiving failure notification saying the addresses are running over quota. I am afraid that the Email addresses are also like their call centers; just for kidding, nobody checks really. Finally I have tried in their Hyderabad Airport counter. From their counter –girls I have heard a peculiar and unbelievable news i.e there is no valid existence of my ticket in their Database as they have changed their Database on 27th Feb and I have purchased on 19th Feb. Tickets purchased before 27th are in an uncertainty zone. They may find it or may not and unfortunately in my case it’s lost. I was not agree to realize her explanation as myself is a web developer and long time working in E-Commerce / online booking / credit system etc. Without any accident data can’t be lost from such a big system and if lost then also there must be back up. This is I can say purely cheating and intentional and also may be considered as Cyber crime because we purchased the ticket from Internet and the transaction also made from Internet. Now I am very much agree with CNN ‘s report and appealing everybody to be active to stop one of the biggest legal scam in our country.

I have cancelled two tickets for month of May25 ,2007. According to staff the money will refund back to the credit card within 3 to 5 working days... I had done that booking though one of my friend's credit card who is leaving india very soon and he is going to close his credit card now... BUT the problem is the money has not reverted back to his account till now even though i have done the cancellation on 17th March. My friend is closing the card 2 or 3 rd April. So i am afraid that i will loose the money.

Air deccan is the world's worst airlines. I have booked a return ticket for delhi to kolkata and back on 12 nov 2006. PNR number is DA07667754. Departure was on 2nd april 2007, arrival was on 5th april 2007. Now , when today on 1st april , i checked with air deccan, it says that I have no flight reservations and that if i have booked now i have to reschedule and pay the rescheduling fees and fare difference as well. The flight numbers that I have been assigned also dont exist. I have been screwed by air deccan like anything. I have been trying air deccan customer care for past 5 days and have been kept on hold for more than 3 hours and noone picks the phone. I wonder if anybody is really employed over there. The airport staff is so impolite and indecent that they deserve to be slapped on their faces. Air deccan took my money and now they are telling me that i have no reservations and that i have to pay for a new flight. I have all the details , printouts and emails from Air deccan with me. I have my credit card records which show that Air deccan took the money. Air deccan, you cant take ppl for a ride like this. First you over book flights and cheat people. CNN-IBN exposed this . and now u take ppl's money and just bluntly refuse that they dont have any reservation when i have got all the proofs. I am gonna take you to the courts and make sure you dont get away this time. Its time for a lawsuit and i am filing it right now. Cheaters...

I agree with all the comments above. Its high time that we do something about this. Here you go with my experience.

I had booked a flight for my family on 3rd of April from Bangalore to kolkata and return on 23rd May. After hearing from CNN-IBN on what Air Deccan does by intentionally slowing down passenger queues for checking in, I choose to cancel the tickets and by a ticket in Kingfisher airlines for my family. My PNR number in Deccan was DA07966746.

Now Air Deccan is just denying the refund. They are making stories that the refund will be processed after 40 working days. This is after this Gopinath character comes to air to say that all problems were due to his new reservation system which is now perfectly fine. My questions are as follows:

1. Who pays the price of the money due to thee abnormal refund delays? Is Air Deccan paying the interest - answer is no.

2. What is Gopinath doing with customers money? Is he planning to run his company with interests?

I would also agree to lot of people that their customer service is completely screwed up and they are not responsible for anything it seems. CNN-IBN has exposed a major malicious company. Their cheating is preached from the top (read gopinath) to the bottom (read the customer care execs also). I think until there is a big gang of armed people going to their Bangalore office to beat up all the officers there, nothing is going to happen.

I also fully agree with the complaint, I am not able to cancel a ticket through web site. Earlier they used to accept the PNR number but the recent change made our life more difficult, no way I can cancel or reschedule. Does anyone have any idea how to cancel the ticket without going to the airport counter since the staffs working at the hyderabad airport counter does not know how to behave with people, they can only provides excuses.

I would like to expose the fraud that is being committed by Air Deccan in cancellation of tickets.

I booked a ticket on the Mumbai-Coimbatore-Mumbai sector on March 6,2007 through their website. On March 7,2007, I wanted to cancel the ticket and thus got into their website. But the website would not allow me to cancel the ticket.I called up Air Deccan three times, but after waiting for half an hour each time, no representative came on the line. I sent a mail to them canceling the ticket, but the mail bounced. I went twice to the Mumbai airport to cancel the tickets, but was told that the system was down and it would take a week to bring it up again. Thus in spite of my best efforts, he ticket could not be cancelled. In the meanwhile, the flight dates had come and gone. I finally managed to get their Bangalore phone number and was informed that I had actually traveled on the Mumbai- Coimbatore sector when I was still in Mumbai!

The entire episode has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I am a frequent air traveler and for the first time choose to Book ticket from Air Deccan. That is what has been my biggest mistake

Let me give you the details in the chronological order.

1. I had booked an Air Deccan ticket on 13th Feb for 4th May, 2007 from
Bangalore to Hyderabad from the website. The transition did not go through successfully. I called your customer care and they confirmed that the transaction was not successful. But on 17th I notice that the amount has been credited from my account.

2. I call the customer care and he promises that the amount will be returned to my account as no ticket is generated and suggests me to book a fresh ticket. On his advice I book a fresh ticket.

3. After that my nightmare starts and my numerous calls to the customer service. One of your agent gives me you corporate office number and asks me to Speak with Mr.Vinie . The number is 080- [protected]. Mr Vinie asks me to call your customer support back ( which is a one hour wait every time I try to call) and quote a complaint number 36340 and I will get full 100% ( he specified the amount of Rs 1184) to me.

4. I call the customer care and they say they cannot do anything till I give them the Transaction ID number.

5. Now again I call back your customer care with the Transaction ID,which is a one more hour of wastage of time. Your representative promises me that within a week 85% of the amount will be refunded and the remaining 15% would take 40 days. Now they say that the earlier ticket was generated and would need to be canceled. However they still maintained that I would get 100 % refund.

6. But I was not surprised to see that nothing has been done. When I call back after a week I am told that because your systems have been changed now the entire amount will be refunded in one go after 40 Days.

7. What has surprised my now is that I received a refund of Rs 51.35 on 28th Mar. I shall be getting 100% as I cannot travel twice on the same plane and I am not fat to occupy two seats

Can anyone help me how to get this money or how to approach Consumer court to get this resolved.

This is unfair as I have two tickets booked for the same person on the same flight that too becasue Air Deccan Customer Support agent suggested me for it.

I have booked tickets online in air deccan, in which the gender of one of the passengers has been mistakenly put wrong. Its been months that i have been trying to contact air deccan customer care office, but only happen to listen to music of one of the favorite english songs. If my copassenger faces any problem while entering into the airport, its not me who has to be held responsible for this. 24 hour customer care numbers are not replying. Hope someone pays a heed to this and help us.

People ,

Air Deccan Sucks, I had a more bad experience was supposed to fly from Delhi to Pune on 1st March 2007, my plan was postponed two days before I was supposed to fly. For the next 24 hours I tried on internet could not get the ticket cancelled. I finally went to the Delhi Airport at 10 in the night on 28th Feb. When I went to the Air Deccancounter I was shocked to see the attitude of people standing at the counter they were so damn rude i can not explain. When I said I want to speak to your manager this guy said that the manager is at the back side of the airport he is not ready to walk up and come here he is busy. I said OK and left. After 15 minutes I came back with the clerk of Airport manager and was allowed entry inside the airport. I went up to this Air Deccan office inside and spoke to this manager and asked him what was he doing that he was so busy that he cannot come outside this guy said I am doing some work on my computer, and when i saw the screen it was only the desktop background I could see. The mangers name was Arnab his employee id is: 4536 , when I was talking to him he seemed least interested to me , so I said I would get the press in he said please do so. I was shocked. Then I said I am a corporate customer and I gave him my contact details and whom I was he stood up and spoke to me and realized I gotta have some power that I have come inside the airport to meet him without a valid ticket. From that day 28th Feb 2007 till today 18th April all he has promised me is that in next 10 days the amount will come, as per him the server is down and the technology team is working on it. I am myself a Tech guy but I fail to understand what kind of technology they are using which takes two months to start. ### off Air Deccan u can never change and ur customer service would always be as pathetic as it is today. And to add I have recorder conversations I have had with this guy Arnab his number is [protected] so I am not just bluffing this is all true and air deccan people change or u along with ur aircrafts would be thrown out of the country and then u would be made to sleep in them as well. U people say u r not scared of press trust me the day they cover u, ha ha what would happen to u only God knows.

I agree with all of these comments. Air deccan might be the cheapest flight playing in India. But they should not think that their customers are also cheap. 6 months back I had a bad experience with Airdeccan. I had booked a ticket from Calicut to Bangalore. Just before 30 minutes of take off of time they announced that the plane landed at Calicut is a 40 seater one instead of 60 seater. So nearly 12 passengers cannot board into the plane. No one was taking the responsibility to solve the issue even we contacted higher authority of airdeccan. Their apologized that by mistake they sent 40 seater flight from Bangalore and are ready to give back the ticket fare.

Later I came to know that lot of peoples had this kind experince.

Better, please don't believe airdeccan

Dear AirDeccan Customer Care,

Hi, can you please look in this matter and tell me when i will getting the money back for cancelled tickets.

1. Your customer care desk is pathetic and i called them but they are behaving as boss.
After waiting over a phone for half an hour the lady is cutting the phone without listening and giving an explanation.
2. I am totally tired of this non sense refunding system. I dont understand where is the problem and why you guys have not informed me .
3. Becoz of this last month i had to bear 1000 Rs and this month also i have to pay 500 Rs extra as interest fee charges on my credit card...
4. This is last mail i am writing to you people.
5. For your kind information after that i am not going to write any mail to you.
6. I am going to inform media that you people are purposely cheating people under IPC 420 , and misusing the some one's money.
7. I am not going to travel through air deccan in future and same i will suggest to my friends
And if you are not going to give refund mention clearly so that i can pay to credit people and i will recover from you people later.

Please investigate the matter and come up with good solution dont say we have moved from this system to that system.

Otherwise i will move to consumer court.

I have not received refund till now the first ticket I cancelled somewhere around 19th march and
Last ticket I cancelled on 4th april .

Whenever I called air deccan customer care those people are cutting the phone why they are doing like this.

I too fuly agree with all of you. Even i had a same experience, i had cancelled 2 tickets from jaipur to bangalore (Ref no. 43146 and 43147) on 7th Mar, the total amount to be refunded was 4236 which i was told will be reverted back in 14 days, when i called after 14 days they told me that due to software upgradation it might take 30 days, afer waiting for 30 days i called again and then again they told me it gonna take 40 working days now even thats over, now when i called them they told ur case is resolved on 9th April and within ten working days you will receive the refund, and now on the eleventh day when i'm trying to call them nobody is picking the phone even after holding the line for 56 mins my call was not responded, i've lodged a complain on the website http://www.core.nic.in/ and waiting for their response to come but even three days have passed and no response has come from there side also, i'm feeling very helpless now, i don't know what should i do. Now i'm planning to write to times now about this on their mail id citizenreporter@timesnow.tv, and i even request you to do the same, as i hope this may help us.

Hi this is regarding the bad service rendered to all the customers on refunds and customer service for the tickets purchased for air deccan flights. There is no response from these executives once you ask for any service after the payment is made. They keep telling us various excuses for blaming their inter departments for not providing the service. I was later broadcasted through various media that air deccan is cheating customers through over booking, which was denied by airdeccan, i really hope that this is not true, they have claimed, they are upgrading their software system to be made more sophisticated for more superior access and service for customers. Today, after 40 days have been completed and trust me I have been mis guided / informed and I have been tested for my patience by the airdeccan executives. The call centre is very though to get through, after 1:15 minutes they refuse to solve the query and blame it on other departments for not meeting the service. Their board numbers aren't working, they email ids mentioned in the website are bouncing back and permission denied status. I have no clue as what is going on with these executives, then when I reached the airport to, their glass window is broken and their staff refuse to answer and direct us to customer care. Its going on the loop within the company. I think we need to stop this and come to an solution. CAN WE ASK FOR JUSTICE NOW ATLEAST.

This is regarding the bad service rendered to all the customers on refunds and customer service for the tickets purchased for airdeccan flights. There is no response from these executives once you ask for any service after the payment is made. They keep telling us various excuses for blaming their inter departments for not providing the service. I was later broadcasted through various media that airdeccan is cheating customers through over booking, which was denied by airdeccan, i really hope that this is not true, they have claimed not so, they are upgrading their software system to be made more sophisticated for more superior access and service for customers. Today, after 40 days have been completed when the ticket was booked and trust me I have been misguided and I have been tested for my patience by the airdeccan executives. The call centre is very though to get through, after 1:15 minutes they refuse to solve the query and blame it on other departments for not meeting the service. The company corporate numbers aren’t working, email ids mentioned in the website are bouncing back and permission denied status. I have no clue as what is going on with these executives, then when I reached the airport to, their glass window is broken and their staff’s refuses to answer and hide from the problems and direct us to customer care. It’s going on the loop within the company. I think we need to stop this and come to a solution and hide from us and buy time from us. If they cant themselves, how can they manage airlines? Can we ask someone to be made answerable to all this and help us out or at least made answerable.

I had booked a round-trip ticket from Che-Blr-Che. On the day of departure I get a phone call that the flight is cancelled. So I had to pay a hefty sum on some other airlines and reached Blr. Later kept calling up to the Customer Care to reschedule / cancel the return flight but NO RESPONSE.

Now my money is also stuck there and no one seems to answer my queries. Very bad service!

I tried booking 10 tickets for Jammu-Srinagar on the 14th April for travel on 11th May 2007
The browser got hanged for more than an hour after taking in the credit cards details. But the ticket was not generated nor was any reference number generated. Another attempt was made after an hour for travel on 10th May 2007 for the same set of passengers and the same sector and the result was same. I received an email the next day informing that both the tickets were confirmed. Because there was no confirmation received till next day, I was compelled to cancel the program. I made frantic attempts to reach on all the listed contacts of Air Deccan but none of the calls were going through.

I approached Air Deccan's Cunningham office and met the authorities who suspect or speculate that my problem is not genuine enough to claim a full refund on both the tickets. They say that I could get refund on only one ticket. This, to me is ridiculous. If the problem is related to Air Deccan's ticketing server which does not respond for hours together and does not issue either a PNR or any other reference online indicating booking confirmation, it is entirely Air Deccan's responsibility to accept the passenger's woes and allow him full refund. Moreover Air Deccan's refund FAQs also talk the same.

In the process of offering lowest cost tickets and under the pretext of being a low fril airlines, Air Deccan is totally getting ignorant of the customer's woes and sufferings.

Sincerely,
Vilas Desai

A copy of email to Air Deccan:

I am a regular customer of your respected flight service of Deccan Airways since February 2006, in this 1 year 2 months period I traveled almost more than 25 times by Air Deccan along with my family and so far the hospitality and services from Air Deccan was very good and that was one of the two reasons I choose your service, the other reason is obviously low cost fair.

But, during my last scheduled travel(unfortunately I couldn't travel on that flight), the response I got from the Flight Supervisor was very disappointing and unexpected.

I was scheduled for flight DN-675 dated 15th April, 2007 from Chennai(MAA) to Kolkata(CCU) at 05:55 am.(Ticket Number-2261148) I reached the airport at 02:15 am. As it was too early for the flight,we waited for the check in counter to open. My co-passengers were:
1. DHAR S. R. - Age 61 - My Mother.
2. DHAR SANJOY - Age 27 - My brother.
3. DHAR MITU - Age 20 - My wife.
4. DHAR S. L. - Age 67 - My Father.

As my parents were aged and ill, it was difficult for them to move fast, we were having 18 Kilo's of luggage all together which we thought of taking as cabin baggage as we were 5 passengers and allowed upto 50 kilo's. We reached the Check in counter at 5: 15 am. i.e. 45 minutes prior to the departure and that was enough time to get the boarding pass and get into the flight. As my co-passengers were slow for any movement, I alone went to the Check-in counter to get the boarding pass for all the 5 passengers along with the luggage.

The Flight Supervisor named Saik as well as the person in the check in counter told me to get the luggage for the Xray and put it to the luggage counter, as there were many other flights the queue was very big and it was not possible for doing the Xray there within that time, moreover, we were considering them as cabin baggage, so there was no necessity to go to that counter. Still the flight supervisor as well as the person from check in counter told me to go and get it X-rayed and then they will give the boarding pass. The moment I finished the X-Ray and came to the counter along with my other co-passengers it was 5: 50 am. i.e. 5 minutes to departure, the person in the check in counter told us that they cannot provide the boarding pass because it is only 5 minutes left for the flight to depart, we can talk to the flight supervisor and if he permits they will issue a boarding pass.

I requested the supervisor for allowing us to board the flight, he was saying I was suppose to report before 30 minutes, now it is late, my old father also requested him a lot, he begged him for helping an old person, but the supervisor didn't listen and continuously telling that it is not possible and we should learn a lesson from it, my wife requested him to help us as she has to visit her ill mother in Kolkata, infront of hundred's of people near the check in counter we requested the Flight Supervisor but he was saying it is not possible, among the other passengers one senior person who was waiting for air Deccan flight for some other destination was also requesting the supervisor, but none could make him to consider us to board the flight.

At last the flight supervisor said the flight has departed and go for a fresh ticket!.

The points I would like to note:
1. I lost 10,000/- Rs. Paid for the ticket.
2. I waited till evening 4:25 pm in the airport to get another flight to Kolkata paying 13,000/- to Indio.
3. Due to improper sleep and food from the airport shops, I got food poison after reaching Kolkata and went to Apollo Hospital and treatment went for 3 days to get well.
4. Being a Information Associate in EDS an MNC one amongst the top 3 Software companies of the world, I Lost my prestige infront of thousands of people in the Chennai airport.
5. My 67 years old father suffered from illness due to marathon waiting in the airport for getting the flight and so was my mother who is 61.
6. My wife suffered for more than 12 hours in tension waiting for a flight to reach Kolkata to meet her ill mother.
7. I lost an hour in writing this mail not knowing whether it will reach the appropriate person who can take necessary action on this.

Hope, Air Deccan has a respect towards it's passengers and their comforts. I thank you for providing all the facilities in the past, it was good to be with air Deccan as a passenger.

Kind Regards,
Rajeeb DhÄ?r

I had cancelled one air ticket bearing PNR no. – DA07928683 of AIR DECCAN on 16.03.07 in Kolkata but the amount is not yet credited to my bank account. I booked the ticket on 24.11.06 through their online booking system and paid the fare from my ICICI saving account.

I had tried a lot to reach them but failed each time. As per their refunding system, somebody has to contact their customer care centre for refund over telephone. I tried and spent lot of money to get the refund and to register a complaint too.

I completely agree with the people's complaints about Air Deccan. I also have similar harrowing experience.

I had booked a ticket from Hyderabad to Delhi on Feb.26, 2007 on phone. My PNR No. is: DA09609220 and the flight No. is: DN-677. Maximum refund of 85% of fare can be obtained if cancellation is done before 72 hours of flight departure. I tried to cancel the booking on March 03, 2007, but the Airdeccan website was being updated and I could not get access to my PNR No. I tried to cancel it on phone. The customer care executive told me that she also could not access the PNR No. because their website was being updated and I should try to cancel on March , 07, since till then I can get 85% of refund. On March 06 and March 07, 2007, I tried repeatedly innumerable times to access my PNR No. for cancellation on the website as well as on phone. The phone lines were continuously busy and I was unable to speak to any customer care executive since morning till night for two days. When someone picked up the phone, he/she would keep on hold for 30 minutes at a stretch. Finally, one executive agreed to file a case for cancellation and gave a No. 24201 for the case. Since then, I have not been able to contact any customer care executive on phone because the lines are constantly busy and the website is also not fully functional yet. I am unable to understand what should I do. I tried to contact a representative at the airport but she replied that airline is suffering. I don't know whether I will get refund back or not?

It is evident that CNN-IBN are true in their allegations against the airline and AirDeccan is running a fraud and cheating people.

Dear friends I faced a serious problem with this airline recently so I decided that to share with you all so that you can beware that type of air lines. I booked four tickets of this airlines from goat to Ahmedabad on 19 Jan 2007 of 25th April 2007 worth Rs 5666/- (as that was in the scheme of that month) we planned all our journey according to that we purchased a majaroda resorts trip of 3 nights & four days from 22nd April to 25th April 26, 2007 and make necessary reservations for this tour first we have to go to

Mumbai there was our stay of three days than to Goa and than goa to ahmedabad directly by this flight

Now the main problem arise when I reached Mumbai on 19th with all my family we received a call (only information call) on 21st night that the flight you have booked from Goa to Ahmedabad is withdrawn and you can claim refund if you want (no options given) I feel shocked at the time of vacation when we reached Bombay they are telling just 3 days before journey that your flight is withdrawn from that sector and you have no option to collect the same amount which you have paid to them 4 months before, I call their call centre from Mumbai and asked for the details for my tickets status they told that tickets are confirmed but we are not operating that flight from last one month ie 20th march 2007 I again shocked they if they are not operating flight from last one month than why are they telling me just 3 days before journey when I asked for the option they told that they have no options they have flight from Goa to Mumbai and Mumbai to Ahmedabad but according to their business policy they can not transfer my tickets on any other sector

Friends I find myself very helpless and trapped that time I spent more than 15000/-to get back from Goa I have to waste my complete fourth day of my majaroda trip I have to come via Mumbai and to take hotel in Mumbai again a lot of harassment, tension, stress, wastage of time and money both and they people on phone are so rude they says that you are getting full refund than what is your problem I don’t understand that by paying my own money back which I have paid to them four months advance what they wants to prove in their efficiency and they wants to give my money back through my credit card whose payment is already made three months ago no wi have to spent six thousand to recover my money from credit card otherwise my money was blocked till than.

I decided to take this matter to consumer protection shell but friends I need your help regarding this matter that how can I proceed in this matter I have all proofs and documents to support my case so waiting for your comments regarding this miss happening with me, please take care and beware of these type of low cost airlines

I think that we the "travelers", "users" of this air line are fool "manager’s" "telecallers" of this airlines are idiot "owner" ceo of this air lines are beggers or robbers govt. or the authority who looks it are blind.

I have similar experience. Due to their server problem same ticket with four passengers was booked twice. I tried calling their customer care and its is the worst experience of waiting for an average 40 minutes to get through.

I was promised for an 100% refund and for that I would need to call their refunds. Which is impossible to get through. E mails have generated a response that I would get a reply in 40 working days, but After 70 days there is no response.

Worst service by an airlines.
