Montgomery County Dhr caseworkers concerning babies/ children are lazy and unprofessional. This guy George Lavelle Cottrell who is a murderer rapist and drug addict was giving full custody right off the back in a hurry to a one year old baby girl cause workers felt sorry for the lies he told and no longer wanted the baby in their care now this one year...

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov Social worker

For some reason I give birth with criminal charges is what I am supposed to do. Dhr gave me no rights to speak when leaving the hospital and now never did much but a safety plan. I guess I didn't have any parental rights for two months. But I have my aunt to help me for two months, and that was a obviously wrong moral for her. I was humiliated and embarrassed like my first class in school at the hospital. Now I'm 10 months postpartum and pregnant again. Same thing that's scary is I can't decide a different hospital now there is no option and no brain for me no thought when I come back. I think my social worker told me she was having lunch on the phone once in two months. ? What is wrong with these people if I file a lawsuit it will be the hospital next going in for my next birth. I have no choice but to do anything I can.

September 4, 2018 was the day my son was born and my name is destiny Parker, I have not a good faith in any work here. I have had a case open for two months prior to whom it may concern. And returning to this state of mind and birth of normal pregnant women. Going to only one choice of my hospital and pediatric is a mother's concern. I gave birth and avoided confronting anyone about medical negligence on my behalf. Later my time darkened in this hospital and a social worker did works before letting me know I'm not going home with my baby. Yes that's mysterious my baby's discharge summary and more didn't rise to anything. I have more time with my baby on the safety plan still because I have my aunt living nearby. I spoke this young young lady my age and she just told me about two months into the case she is having lunch don't call me on the phone and next that the case was for me to talk about, it ended in two months. That's okay I said alright and never had to continue this crazy feeling I don't sometimes do everything right. I just became a mother and it was so not evidence base and I never want this hospital baptist east to visit my newborn again. I have my same question if this will be resolved with a lawyer. Please reach out for more information regarding much more. Thanks

My case worker told confidential information about my visitation schedule amount of time I receive with my son in order to intimidate and embarrass me in front of my child's Dr. Wendy Yousef, at my child's DR appointment said to her and the nurse that they have custody and that I get an hour a week visitation at the DHR building. Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov Covington County DHR

At the start of the year I submitted a complaint regarding my daughter's father and the treatment of the children he keeps. She cane home one day upset because he had spanked a small child for crying while her foot was stuck in the car, and had supposedly smack another child for just asking a question(under age 6). She had repeatedly said she did not want to go with him. She had even been seeing a counselor for 2 years, but the court ruled he had rights for visits so I had to send her. When I made the complaint the counselor even submitted his notes to DHR. I told them the 2 bed 1 bath 1980s trailer is housing 7 people. I gave them pictures of the location and trash was clearly visible everywhere. But they would investigate, nor will they return my calls. I feel completely let down and concerned for the welfare of my child.

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov Child services/endangerment/negligence

I contacted Madison County DHR regarding many concerns involving my infant son. They investigated and viewed my videos. My son had allergic reactions to a few foods so his pediatrician typed a letter stating what to avoid which I presented to DHR worker along with a video where another person was admitting to giving him one of the allergy foods. Instead of waiting for the allergy test which I informed them would be in April of 2019 they cleared the person who had been negligently giving my baby something that could harm him while Not caring. After my baby was taken from me and given to this person he has stayed Extremely sick and I've had to rush him to the ER already. The allergy test results revealed that my son is 100% allergic to exactly what that person gave him and continued to give him after several reminders and the pediatrician paperwork. I had my baby for almost 14 months in my care without daycare or anything due to me being a stay at home mother. I have made his babyfood from scratch since age 6 months due to allergic reactions to certain foods including a lactose allergy. My baby was Not sick and he was Very happy. I fed him all organic dairy free and now idk what he's being given but he's Not been well at all. My son was taken from me based on lies in April 2019 right before his allergy test that Friday. I'm trying to bring him home and fully intend of making sure this NEVER happens to anyone else's child again. A DHR attorney represents the opposing party in which DHR cleared btw. The DHR worker had called me right before the final hearing in court to tell me they would ask the opposing party to get more toys. If the person in which my son has been placed with doesn't lose All of his rights after many things come to light including giving him allergy foods in which he was aware of then I Fully intend on pursuing this matter further. I want my baby back home with his rightful parents where he belongs and out of negligent hands Forever.

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov dhr case workers and reporting child abuse and neglect

On march 23, 2018 my babygirl was born i've been raped by the father so I decided to give her to safe haven which was my personal rights. One month later april 2018 I was willing to forgive and was ready to take care of my own daughter myself so I reached out to a supervisor over foster care danielle cherry at 3030 mobile hwy concerning my baby about what could I do from there she never returned any of my messages or phone calls I found out that the father george l cottrell who's a rapist, a drug addict, and a murderer has custody of her the reason why I couldn't get a answer from anyone out of dhr now im being judged, harassed, and mistreated especially on social media. George is close with case workers who's truly against me so that leave me out of my baby's life who needs her biological mother around it's just not fair and to know for a fact my baby is around this angry selfish dangerous man I can't sleep at night. He's on and selling drugs around her (weed), (pills) he has a loaded gun at the house where she's staying my baby recently had a rash on her private part she's around too many randon strangers he whoops her for no reason she's not eating proper food she plays with cigars while he's gambling his ac isn't working inside his home like how could the case workers not know any of this and is okay with this behavior. I'm pissed and something professional needs to be done asap...

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov Ozark dhr and brandy murrah

To whom it may concern,

In August 2018 a parents of two children were arrested with charges of chemical 's endangerment of a child after the DA was presented with allegation of positive drug screening from DHR. I believe this test was falisfied to cover DHR's mistake.

I am an ex-worker for DHR. I worked cases in investigations and understand the protocol for removing children. Two children were removed from their home after DHR worker Danner and McErvin received test done by Brandy of the mother and her boyfriend for drugs. Both test was positive. The children were removed on that very day without being tested for evidence that they were exposed. The children were placed in my home on a 45 day safety plan. Two weeks later Danner and Brandy came to my home to drug test the children, (the children could have been exposed by anyone by now). I observed Brandy as she went to her car for a sucker (?) for the child to quiet her down. Brandy then without washing her hands or placing gloves on them cut the tip of the little girls pony tail at the top of her head. She then cut the back of the boys hair with the same scissors, and placed the hairs in a small plastic bag. Only one test returned positive, the child that had the sucker.

I told Danner as well as the supervisor that I felt the test wasn't accurate. Ms. McErvin, the investigator at the time, stated we should get another test done if we felt that way. The mother called to ask for another test, but she received no return call.

After 45 days of no completed services from DHR, no income and lost of housing the children were returned to now a broken home. The supervisor told the mother that if she complained, which she had a right to, they would re-open her case and place it in on-going service. I don't think a case can be re-opened without an allegation of some type of abuse. The mother told me she was afraid to do anything and just wanted to get her children back. She now lives with an indicated report by DHR and were charged with a felony behind what I now feel was a cover up and falsified reports. So on behalf of this family, and in light of the findings behind Brandy Murrah I felt this family's case deserves to be explored for possible dishonest behaviors.

Family name: Chasity S. Lightner

cc: DA

Is there an update to the outcome of this? I'm curious to know if anyone employed by DHR was aware that Murrah was doing this?
This isn't an isolated incident. This type of thing is happening in many Alabama counties by DHR.

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov Child support case

I was put on child support in 2004 and my case was dropped cause my baby momma didn't not show for court which at the time I was staying with my daughter taking care of her at the time the case worker dropped the case and told me she couldn't bring back up the cars I got married in 2009 and my baby momma sued me again on the same case. I ask for donations and be denied twice by court since it's a new case I should be able to get one then I got hurt last year and got be hind I checked the recording of wages and I went from 800 to 7000 in 2 years. Fayette county Alabama DHR is not handling my case professionaly I ask to speak with caseworker and get no reponse. I got ssi information about my condition and also my daughter haven't been living in Al in 4 months now he momma have be going around telling people in town that my daughter is not mine. And also my daughter don't claim me nor don't come around for holidays nor except my calls I have people telling me she not mine. I haven't seen or spoke to my child sincey last court date. She stays in Mississippi now which is against my parental rights this is the second time it has happened. the Fayette county dhr investigate my life but not Nitisha Walkers. I might be behind due to a disability but not no 7000. I just need a DNA test and my correct monies owed to my child if she's mind. I feel that I am being stereotyped cause of my race and criminal record that is not right also I have parental rights violated. I have paper work from social security with my work history and wages. Also about my disability appeals.

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov False domestic violence allegations

I had an open case with lawrence county dhr and it was supposed to be closing around the end of this month and was supposed to be getting my son back but since there was a well fare call to dhr by my mother on my behalf, my case was extended without notice and my 5-month-old son's caseworker was switched and now I have a court date set for april 17th. I honestly just want my son back and i'm not being given a fair chance to do so. Lawrence county dhr just doesn't want me to get him back so when my mother called, they wrote it down and didn't even call or come by to let me know what was going on which isn't fair at all! It's not right that because my mother wanted to check on me that now i'm having false domestic violence claims against me. Plus, my son wasn't even present! This needs to be handled as soon as possible!

The father of my child who has no established paternity kidnapped my child. Law enforcement stated it was a civil issue until I had located their address. That changed when I finally located the home and the conditions. Upon being invited in the house by the homeowner an 80 year old man who apparently has dementia, I found piles of trash five feet high...

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov cullman county dhr

My wife and I have been fighing for or daughter for over a year. We both grew up in Cullman county dhr. Morgan county dhr worker came to the hospital where my daughter was in the NICU we lived in Morgan county at the time. They removed from the hospital by police escort due to a juvinel record that I had completed everything dhr asked back it 2009 .it was now 2017. Under a safety plan the required step was a risk assessment and that's it. After placing a year completing 2 drug assessments, 1 syic evl. No failed drug screens, risk assessment showing no risk, parenting classes completed, and marriage counseling.rather then having move visits, unsupervised visits...we still have supevised visit and they have taken time away. Lawyers, family, churches all say this is wrong.we have shown there is no risk for my daughter.

I know a mom named Angela thibault and she just got her kids back a few months ago and I've seen her son and daughter smoke weed bc I have physically seen them outside doing it and I heard that she is also doing prostitution she already has a dhr file too. her kids are decide kids and I dont want anything to happen to them. she lives in greenbrier woodvalley apts in apt 807 and I want this complaint to be anoymous. she leaves her kids all day and night and goes to buy weed for her kids to smoke. my mom worked for dhr for 10 or more years and I care about her and her kids well being but fear she is on hard drugs like cocaine and her kids are 11 15 years old and smoking weed. I would like to remain anonymous because I live next door and that would cause alot of problems and I just want for them to be ok and have her case worker check in and call.

Do us all a favor and shut up. You arent anonymous when you state you're a neighbor. Even in an apartment building it's easy to tell who the nosey snitches are. Weed is legal in most states now. I'd probably have to smoke weed just to tolerate a neighbor like you.
You "HEARD" she was doing prostitution? The only thing you need to hear is the school bus coming so you can take yourself back to school and get an education. Mind your own business.

Alabama Department Of Human Resources / Dhr.Alabama.gov Customer service /human resources

It is VERY difficult to get in touch with anyone via phone or website. I've called over a dozen times, left voice mails, and haven't heard anything back. I'm trying to correct an issue with my child support but can't get anyone. I need someone to respond. Website and voicemail is unreliable. Ive been trying to get this resolved now for over 3 months. I keep getting told by my county dhr office to contact the main (Montgomery) office. Ensuring children are taken care of should be a high priority. I'm trying to do my part. I have better luck getting in touch with the IRS. }:-€
