no show on pick up date
I moved into a new home and previous owner left garbage can. After reading such poor reviews, we decided we would use a different company and called American to come pick up their waste bin. They offered a date two weeks out... which seemed crazy... but oh well. That day they never showed up to pick up the can! We called and asked what happened... they simply offered another date two weeks out again. I don't want this thing in my backyard anymore?! Poor customer service offering unacceptable solution.
Stealing from employees
This company and its owner stole money from last paycheck in Oct '08 and even after getting cited by the state dept. of labor still refuses to pay me. The owner forces employees to work long hours with carrying workers compensation to cover injuries. he also doesn't keep his trucks in a safe operating manner.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
