They subcontract out their work. The installers did a lot of damage. ACS doesn't care about the damage. They said the damage is acceptable to them.

They are the ***. BEWARE. they are liars and ***. needed new flooring installed and the workers left TWICE without any explanation. Supervisor says that our product was damaged (it's not!) . Had to hire another contractor to do the job they couldn't. "

Worst customer service I ever had to deal with. I had to have 3 different installation days. The first one was October 1st which they call me and gave me as when it could be done. Took off day from work did all of the processes they wanted us to do take bed apart and remove all personal belongings in way so vinyl floor could be put in both bedrooms. Okay that was agreed to now everything in my big bathroom and all over the house. Oct. 1 comes no phone call no installer so I have to call ACS. Need to get phone number of local off in Hudson NH but they have no phone number listed and they have no website. Finally get number call them to see where installer is girl who answers says she will check on comes back says installer called in sick we have nobody for you. I asked why no phone call to me and she laughs and says not sure. I ask her what next she says take another day off we will come then. I say give me your manager. A guy name Jay comes on and I tell him no more days off can you do it on that Saturday I say sure. After all the going back and forth he says he needs to talk to manager for my area he handles Pittsburg, PA i am in Derry NH I ask to talk to the right manager who is Michael he says no go on Saturday but it can be done the next Saturday 10/10. We say ok please make sure this doesn't happen again. I am a liitle leary about Saturday so I call them on Thursday to make sure I am on schedule. The girl who answer the phone says I am ok to go for Saturday the 10th installer on schedule. I also on 10/9 get an e-mail confirming that my installer will be arriving on 10/10 between 8-12. Yeah finally floors since I have since i purchases them on 8/12. On 10/10 I get a phone call around 9:00 it's ACS in Hudson and the girl which I think was same girl i taked to on Thursday says how did my floors come out installer says he did job yesterday. Little confused I do not have new floors and it was scheduled for today 10/10. She of course laughs and says she will check on it. After 20 minutes no answer I call back and ask for manager. Now I get Morgan operations manager he says he will check on this and get back to us. It is a Saturday and a holiday weekend he probably is getting nobody. He finally calls back says of course he has no one for today but may have one for Sunday not sure we say no because we have thing planned Sunday we had to give up on Saturday. He says he can have someone here Monday. We say ok can you e-mail that as a confirmation with the installers name and number since it is Columbus day and ACS in Hudson probably will not be working. Come Monday installer calls arrives at time schedule does his job well please with floor but he is a subcontractor so he does not have same work ethic as ACS. If ACS would have had better customer service and did not act like I was wrong and had to accommodate them insread of other way around I may have not been so angry but they did not. I did finally go to *** since that is where I bought the flooring since ACS is there installer. They are working on some form of compensation for this fiasco. I just want people to be aware of ACS Hudson and their terrible customer service.

Our experience mirrors other complaints below. Extremely poor quality work backed up by extremely poor customer service. We are now on approximately our 6th visit to the home, and the job still isn't done correctly. They have twice scheduled visits and not shown up. They have lied over the phone as to why they didn't show up (they got the sequence wrong and then backed themselves into a corner in which they would have had to "predict" that the van would break down next morning). They have damaged flooring next to the carpet and then left the home quickly without telling us.

is absolutely the worst to deal with! I purchased carpeting from *** 2 Months ago. Had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for an installation date which they cancelled the day before. They are ***, *** and ***. I can't express the frustration using this company will cause you. They will lie to you and don't care about the customer. How *** uses their services is beyond me and really needs to reevaluate the subcontracting they provide. Go to a local Flooring business where you will be treated as a valued customer. If I could give this company *** ZERO STARS, I would!"

This company was Called to come out to install a carpet in my *** back in December. They came out to do the template after being 2 hours past the window. They Scheduled a week later for the carpet to be installed. Since that point they have cancelled on my mother 6 times. My elderly mother has left work 6 times for this company to cancel. They have been rude and zero solution. They promised *** depot gift cards, those have not been received. They have taken treated my mother so poorly its not right. Taking advantage of my poor elderly mother.

This is an absolutely terrible service this company provides. *** sent them to install my new carpet. First, one of the installers would not put on masks inside my home until I really insisted. Secondly, they rip out the old carpet and as they were removing it they started taking pictures. I asked why taking pictures of old carpets, their response "because we can't take the old carpet away because it has stains". I told them if you can't take the old carpet away don't remove the existing carpet because I don't to deal with garbage of carpet in front of my home. I told the installer that I would be calling their company not to continue the install, their customer service said they can't take away the old carpet pretty much stating the same as the installer. I said okay, if you can't take away the old one, just put my carpet back and I will get someone else. The installer already cut the old carpets in the piece before I finish on the phone, the installer now put the ripped carpet back leaving my living room and family room in a serious mess.

Issues included unrolled binding on stairs, a gap at the loft's edge, a seamed bedroom carpet due to incorrect measurement, and chipped grouting near the bathroom. Despite numerous calls to American Carpet and many missed installation dates, the service was poor. After contacting corporate customer service without a response, I was left unsurprised by the lack of follow-up.

Ordered vinyl flooring through a local supplier and installation was sub-contracted to American Carpet South (ACS). Installation was performed on 2/10 and after completion, we found several defects. We notified ACS, and the installer returned on 3/1 but failed to correct the issues. Inspectors confirmed the floor needed redoing. On 3/19, ACS offered two options: accept the flawed installation with ACS covering the charges, or redo the floor. We chose the latter, but ACS has since repeatedly postponed the new installation due to scheduling issues. Despite numerous calls to ACS, the problem remains unresolved. Nine weeks post-installation, we're considering accepting the floor as is, with compensation for labor to move appliances and for meals bought during this ordeal. My wife and I, both turning 80 this year, had to hire help for moving appliances. This experience has dissuaded us from recommending ACS. We hope the supplier can help resolve this.
