All American Power & Gas is a criminal organization
All American Power & Gas is a PREDATORY company. They overcharged my account without ANY notification that they were "raising my rates." Over the phone they lied and said they needed to keep up with increased costs across the board in the US. They stole a lot of money from me and all their customers. Total scam. Report them wherever you can. They need to close up shop for good. They are the perfect example of GREEDFLATION. Liars and crooks.
Recommendation: Report them to BBB
The representative was a tremendous help with our small business accounts at American Power & Gas
The representative was a tremendous help in working through all the small business accounts we have aligned with American Power & Gas. Having worked in the customer service industry for over 40 years (and now retired), I believe that if I were still active, this individual would be someone I'd want on my team. The representative was thorough with explanations and patient with my questions. My name was not originally on the account, and the representative offered multiple options for resolving that issue, which then allowed me to research my questions. They also helped me understand my options for potential cost savings. Great job to the representative! I look forward to talking with them again in the future!
listened intently to my issues. She gave me an outline of the steps we could take to resolve it. She also gave me tips to avoid issues in the future.
I had a service issue and agent *** was very helpful and professional. Thanks for excellent customer service!
was patient and helped me understand why our gas bill was so high. She explained variable rates & then I understood.
Thank you to *** #*** for helping me with my bill issue. *** was quick and easy to work with.
If the business on the receiving end of your call says to you they are NOT interested in your services, please respect their decision
If the business on the receiving end of your call says to you they are NOT interested in your services, please respect their decision. Don't order me to get my Peco bill. NO means NO. You are quite possibly some of the rudest people I have ever talked to on the phone, calling non-stop, and talking over me. Again, we are not interested... stop calling! WE HAVE NEVER HAD YOUR SERVICE. WE DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICE. Stop trying to call and "scam" others who will fall for your shady switch & bait tactics. Everyone in our place of business has been aware to never give any kind of Peco bill information. Peco does not solicit and will never call you on the phone. Anything official is sent via snail mail.

APG customer service, Rep John, has been working with me on a reward issue
From APG: Their customer service, Rep John, has been working with me to reinstate a reward from APG which I was not able to find. The company has sent it two times to my email address and it has not arrived. John asked me today to provide a second email address so that they can resend it again. That would be three times that APG has tried to correct the situation. John was polite, calm, helpful and knowledgeable while helping me. He called me back this morning to follow-up as promised. I highly recommend APG as a company and John as a great asset to APG. Thank you, John. Everyone that I have dealt with at APG have all been very helpful and knowledgeable.
Was very friendly, courteous, and professional during our conversation. She was very helpful in explaining my account issues with me. She locked me into an agreeable rate. I am very pleased with AP&G LLC. I am hoping to renew with them at a affordable rate down the line.Thank you *** for your personable customer service skills. It was a pleasure speaking with you
very refreshing to talk to someone who was very helpful and informative thanks so much for the help made every thing so unstressful
was very helpful with becoming a new customer. Very friendly and polite.
Jennifer B. was very helpful and I will contact her if I ever need anything from APG.
Kimberly B*** is the best customer service rep I have ever had the pleasure to work with!
Kimberly B is the best customer service rep I have ever had the pleasure to work with! Having a background in customer service myself, I am consistently disappointed and frustrated with the lack of knowledge and incompetence of representatives in various businesses. Kimberly went above and beyond to help resolve my issue which was a complicated one. She was constantly available to me by email, quick to communicate with me, and consistently worked toward resolution for me. She even went back to her superiors to plead my case when they told her they couldn't help me. She saved me a lot of headache and expense by resolving my case efficiently. My thanks to her and a company that is for their customers.

He presented a clear overview of how & why the *** has come about, then offered suggestions on how to research which supplier could be the best fit for my situation. Thanks !

I own a business that is ran out of my house
I own a business that is ran out of my house. I received a call from AP&G stating that they could lower my current electric bill and offer a 25% rebate at the end of the year. Sounded great. I signed up and the next month noticed a slight decrease in my electric bill (July ). Since then the bill steadily increased each month. By January 2022 my electric bill had tripled from what it was with my previous electric company. I called and canceled immediately. Do not trust that this company will help you in anyway lower your bill. They will just hike up the price and keep taking your money. Once canceled and went back to my original electric company, my bill was back to normal and a 1/3 of the price I was paying with AP&G.
I have received 3-4 phone calls from AP & G, saying that they want to save me money, and all I have to do is notify my electric company that I
I have received 3-4 phone calls from AP & G, saying that they want to save me money, and all I have to do is notify my electric company that I want AP & G to be my electric supplier. The first few times they called, I spoke to a woman named Jessica who seemed very nice. The last time they called, her supervisor interrupted the call and got very rude and aggressive with me, insisting that I was not the one handling the bills because I would definitely want to save money if that were the case. I hung up because he was raising his voice. Then I saw on Complaintsboard.com that apparently, AP & G does this a lot. I'm SO glad I didn't sign up for whatever it was they were trying to sell me. Looks like your bill might double or triple if you do.

Exceptional service was provided to me on both occasions
Exceptional service was provided to me on both occasions. I had issues with my energy bill increasing, and each time my concerns were swiftly addressed with solutions and immediate credit checks. This individual's dedication is why I've remained a loyal customer for nearly a year. Proactive in seeking better deals, they work to reduce my expenses. Their rates are competitive, outmatching other suppliers. The customer service is commendable, and I've consistently connected with support promptly. This representative is a significant contributor to American Power and Gas's success. Despite some negative reviews, my experience compels me to recommend contacting their responsive team for resolution.
Do not go with this company
Do not go with this company. I have shopped several gas companies for my business over the nearly ten years of being in business and this company is the only one that has had outrageous supply costs after falling off the fixed term rate. I take full responsibility for not staying on top of my term length which I suggest you do if you go with this company (nor did any representative call concerning a new contract). But my rate went up 100+% in cost. This really should be a crime while it has hurt my small business having my bill go from $300-350 to $800-900 something like this would cripple or devastate someone on a fixed income or struggling to make ends meet. I cannot nor will I support a company that does not have good business practices.
I enrolled on around August 20th 2022 because APG's introductory rate was slightly lower than my current provider
I enrolled on around August 20th 2022 because APG's introductory rate was slightly lower than my current provider. It was a variable rate but assumption was that this wasn't going to change drastically. This was not the case. It immediately raised the rates much more then O&R would of charged me, and i looked on O&R's website to shop around for rates and found this shocking report, i paid $14,364.95 extra over 4 months being with APG, i request a full refund from APG how disgracefully to fool customers like this. September bill i paid $940.20 more (O&R - $19,946.82 APG - $20,887.02) October Bill i paid $1,559.55 more (O&R - $16,388.19 APG - $17,947.74) November Bill i paid $5,714.59 more (O&R - $14,103.99 APG - $19,818.58) December Bill i paid $6,150.61 more (O&R - $14,054.95 APG - $20,205.56)
Our owner requests our company be placed on the DO NOT CALL LIST
Our owner would like our company to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST, please! We opted to leave a review instead of filing a complaint because we are not an actual customer and have no desire to be. A Sonia M. makes most of the aggressive calls into our office and after she is told we are not interested she will continue to talk over and is very unprofessional. She goes as far as calling back after being told not interested and hanging up to in my opinion try to intimidate her way through to our owner. Who will never accept her call so please we are begging for both our companies' sake just stop calling because you are not going to get any business from us and you are wasting your time you could be harassing someone else. THANK YOU! The phone number she provided for herself is withheld.
YES, I'D LIKE TO COMPLIMENT MS
YES, I'D LIKE TO COMPLIMENT MS. JESSIE *** FOR TAKING OWNERSHIP OF THE PROBLEM I LAYED OUT FOR HER CONCERNING THE VERY LARGE MONTHLY ELECTRIC BILLS I HAVE RECEIVED THESE LAST THREE MONTHS. I AGREED TO A VARIABLE RATE CONTRACT WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A FIRST MONTH RATE OF 5.5 CENTS PER KILOWATT WITH A MAX OF 11,0 CENTS. THE BILLS I RECEIVED WERE 14.98 CENST PER KILOWATT. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS PLAN ACTUALLY DIDN'T HAVE A CAP. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD FROM MY AGENT IN THE RETENSION DEPARTMENT TOLD ME. HE IS NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY ( I GUESS I KNOW WHY). SO ALTHOUGH MS. WAS ABLE TO ASSIST ME WITH A $280.00 CREDIT I'M STILL HANGING OUT THERE FOR ALMOST DOUBLE THE MONTHLY COST OF MY PREVIOUS SUPPLIER. I'M VERY UPSET OVER THIS AND I HAD HOPED APG WOULD STANDUP IN THIS SITUATION SINCE I RELIED ON THEIR AGENT TO BE TRUTHFUL. I WOULD HAVE RATHERED WRITE A MUCH MORE POSITIVE REVIEW AND PERHAPS I'LL BE GIVEN A REASON TO DO SO. WHO KNOWS.

I had exactly the same experience as in the below review from John F M
I had exactly the same experience as in the below review from John F M. I was with American Power & Gas (APG) for about five months. My electric rates kept creeping up until they jumped about 50% and I started checking them. When I call APG, I was told my rate was variable and I should keep an eye on the rates and call if I had questions. I was given a refund and my rate was supposedly lowered, but over the course of my time with APG I still paid more than the utility. I did not want to play the "watch the rates" game, so I called to cancel my service. I was told APG would not honor the lower rate for my last billing cycle. Sure enough, the rate jumped right up to where it was when I complained, and I paid $500 more than the comparable month last year when I was with the utility. I think the promise of a lower rate was agreed to on tape, but I never want to talk to this company again, so I am just going to say good riddance, and consider the experience an expense mistake.
They send unsolicited mail and call to solicit business
They send unsolicited mail and call to solicit business. When they called me, they were very aggressive in getting me to sign up with their service. Near the end of the call, they asked if I wanted a confirmation number, implying that they had actually signed me up for an account without ever asking if I was interested in the service or whether I actually wanted to sign up for their service. When I pushed back, the rep became very aggressive in defending what he did and used gaslighting tactics to try to force me to go along with what he had done. He was condescending and predatory, acting as if he needed to go on the defense because I called him out for his malfeasance. These are high pressure and manipulative sales tactics. They are designed to catch someone off guard to acquire customers. They word their pitch as if they are representatives of the power company, which they are not, to get you to go along with what they are selling. This is classic manipulative and deceptive salesmanship, and borderline - if not actual - fraud.

I was naive in thinking this company would help me save money on my electric bill
I was naive in thinking this company would help me save money on my electric bill. I have had them as a supplier for 5 years and finally decided to call and find out if I could save on my bill. I talked to a customer service employee and found out that I was paying .12 1/2 cents per kilowatt compared to the cost directly from ComEd was .09 cents. I use about *** kilowatt hrs per month and will save about $25-30 dollars a month for my power directly from ComEd. I would encourage anyone who uses this company to check your bill and make sure your not paying them for doing anything. I only checked all this out because someone from their company came into my apartment building demanding to see my electrical bill on a Saturday and thought it was unprofessional to solicit when it was not allowed. In the end it was their own company that made me look at my relationship with them. I also have a feeling that many of the reviews here are not legitimate and are super short and not detailed. I find it had to believe that I am an anomaly. Just read the reviews of all the 5 stars and you will see a pattern of praise for a single employee that is likely themselves.
American power and Gas is to the point of harassing the small business iIwork for
American power and Gas is to the point of harassing the small business iIwork for. We received multiple calls from this company the past two weeks. Every time, asking them to stop calling and take us off their call list. Today, we received another. The rep. asked to speak with the person in charge of the bills for the office. I explained the owner makes those choices, and asked what company she was calling from. She wouldn't tell me and just kept saying "well I'm calling in regards to mail we sent the owner"...So i took the number, again asking "are you a current vendor of ours? Do we have a current account with you? I do the office billing I can assist you."...Still wouldn't tell me...so I had to google the phone number to find out it was AGAIN American Power and Gas. When I said to her "OH American power and Gas AGAIN, We have asked you to stop calling, and to put us on your do not call list" she seemed annoyed with me. I hung-up. These kinds of calls are annoying enough, but when we ask you to stop soliciting us and don't stop, now its harassment. I also feel like its extremely deceptive that they don't disclose the company they are calling from when asked, if its a company trying to solicit and doesn't have a current account with us.

Take this as warning to pay attention to details of your utility bill
Take this as warning to pay attention to details of your utility bill...which I found out today...the hard way...can cost you money if you fail to do so.
Several years ago I signed up with American Power and Gas LLC after they stated that they would be able to provide natural gas at less cost than my utility. At first, I recall they may have done that...and they sent small "rebate" check near end of year for 25-percent of one month billing, which amounts to about $25. However, today, due to unrelated issue...I find out American Power is charging me MORE THAN DOUBLE what JCPL would be charging. This information is on utility bill, though you have to read bill carefully to find out. I looked back as far as I could and I find out that even more than one year ago American was charging more than 50-percent greater...this adds up to several hundred dollars per year...which I find outrageous, even though I acknowledge I am also at fault for not paying attention. Yet, NJ Public Utilities Commission should allow utility to highlight this very large ripoff. Apparently, regulations do not allow utility to tell customers anything other than the applicable rates, which are buried deep in dense text of bill...such that almost nobody sees this important information.
Do yourself a favor and CHECK YOUR BILL.

Deceptive practice of trying to get you to switch energy supplier
Deceptive practice of trying to get you to switch energy supplier. A salesman named Mike H. called me saying he was trying to reestablish a rebate that was about to expire. He then told me to answer a series of questions through a third-party verification service SUPPOSEDLY to reapply the 25% rebate. The questions were worded deceptively, but were basically verifying that you were sitching your energy supplier to American Power and Gas, LLC. The questions also revealed that the cost he quoted was only good for the first month and then switched to a variable rate after that. I declined the final confirmation, and he became angry and denied that was what was happening, then hung up.

This company has been calling me for years from various phone numbers, and each time I have asked -- and then begged -- then to remove me from their call list. Most recently they called me from ***. They are very aggressive marketers attempting to get me to switch my electric service to them. They say they can offer me savings, but they can't go into detail on the nature of these savings until I tell them info from my bill. I don't trust them, and really don't want to waste my time talking to them anymore.
Our business has received numerous calls from this company. We continue to explain that our owner is the sole decision maker, does not work in the office, and does not allow their outside number to be given to solicitors (energy providers expressly). They immediately call back to try to reach someone else, up to four times in ten minutes. The last call included the exact phrase "you have to give us a phone number for these calls to stop" while they would not provide a number or contact at their company to discuss a cease to these calls.
I am constantly being called by APG at different times of the day on multiple days weeks apart trying to get me to divulge ConEd bill
I am constantly being called by APG at different times of the day on multiple days weeks apart trying to get me to divulge ConEd bill information to them. They call stating they simply need the ConEd bill code on top of the bill . I have constantly told them I am not interested in their services and do not wish to be bothered again by their calls. They're trying to deceive people into providing them with information right away as soon as the call begins without even telling them what their company is, their business model and that they are not affiliated with your utility company nor will your utilities be interrupted, they're pretty much scammers. Their caller ID comes up as JP *** ( a New York City area code meanwhile they're based in CT.)

A women named Sara at ext *** calls multiple times a week and harasses our employees to give verbal confirmation to switch to us to buy third party electric. We have asked murmurous time for them not to call again and that we are not interested in their services. She has tried tricking our one employee to just "say yes" on the phone and she would stop calling. This is an absolute scam and at this point harassment.
I am being contacted by this company to settle a debt for 405.34 that has already been paid. I never personally agreed to accept their service to begin with, but I fulfilled the contract and paid to be released from service back to my normal electricity provider. I would like them to close the account marked paid in full and never be contacted again for any reason. They are rude and hostile. Please see the Line item Charges of my attached electricity statement I highlighted the final payment made. Thank you for your assitance
I found that I had been enrolled in American Power and Gas and was being charged twice the PGW rate for gas through the whole winter
I found that I had been enrolled in American Power and Gas and was being charged twice the PGW rate for gas through the whole winter. I had been getting a barrage of calls to sign up during this time as well. When I called to cancel, I was told i was getting a 25% rebate of my yearly rate at the end of the month. I looked on their website and found that the amount was 25% of the monthly average, not 25% of the year total. They dropped my rate to .38 when I called, from .71, but due to the "variable rate" it could go up to twice to four times that amount the following month. My gas bill was over $300 last month. They are harassing and misleading, and not transparent about their rates unless you ask directly. I think they are targeting and ripping off sensitive populations with misleading and harassing information.

This company calls on a regular basis to try and extract information from my utility bill so they can become my energy supplier. I tell them I am not interested and I hang up. They will call back several times and I will continue to hang up. They interrupt my business and this is plain harassment. They are scammers and obviously the company trains their employees to be completely obnoxious.
Been trying to cancel this supplier for 2 weeks. Disconnected or put on hold for hours during business hours. They are over charging by 75% of my power company. This is a scam. Now I can't get them shut off.

I keep getting unwanted calls and voice mails at both my work number and home number from this company demanding that I return their call
I keep getting unwanted calls and voice mails at both my work number and home number from this company demanding that I return their call. I work from home and get interrupted every time they ring my phone numbers. I am not interested in switching energy providers. My numbers are registered on the do not call list and I demand they stop calling me and interrupting me at work and at home. They have now been calling and leaving voice messages for me for two weeks. They are in violation of federal telemarketing law and should not be permitted to continue in business if they continue to violate the do not call provisions. Also, I never ever buy anything sold over the phone and I do not donate to any charities that do any kind of solicitation by telemarketers. Why is any kind of business doing telemarketing in this day an age? It's annoying, does not build consumer confidence and wastes the time and life of consumers.

We have received numerous calls from Ashley from American Power & Gas, LLC. Each time I try to explain our our unique situation where we cannot access power bills at this present time and therefore cannot discuss anything related to our bills at this time. She continues to demand that I get the bills or the name of someone who can get the bills etc. etc. and clearly just wants to finish her script which does not have a scenario where the customer does not want to talk about their bills with her. I have had to hang up abruptly to end the call several times. She calls back and reprimands our volunteer who answers the phone about how she was told to call back. She calls and asks for other people instead and gets "referred" to me. I would like to never be called by this organization again. Please put my organization on the Do Not Call list!
This company will not stop calling me after being put on the do not call list. I received calls from an agent named LeAndre who was very aggressive and would not stop calling me back immediately after asking to not contact me further. I called the number on their website (***) and talked with an agent named Anthony at approximately 11:20am on 05/24/22 and asked to be put on the do not called list.

I agreed to switch to American Power and Gas because they assured me that my rate would be lower than my local utility and promised that, at the end of each year, I would get a rebate of 25% of the amount I had paid for the entire year. Their bills were much higher than what I had been paying to the local utility. When I called to switch back they promised to give me a much better rate so I stayed with them. My bill was slightly better for a month and then went back up. This happened several times so I stayed long enough to get the promised rebate. When the rebate came it was only 25% of my most recent bill, not the entire year which I had been promised. I cancelled and went back to the local utility. This is when the real aggravation started. I have been swamped with calls from AP&G trying to get me to come back. I asked them not to call. This did no good. I told them not to call, this did no good either. I want them to stop calling and NEVER call me again

Two or three times a month, I receive calls from this business
Two or three times a month, I receive calls from this business. These are sales calls masquerading as customer service calls. The caller states that my business is a client of AP&G. I insist (correctly) that we are not. She will not accept this as an answer. She insists I provide her with information from my energy bill. I try to explain that if my business were a client of AP&G, they would have any needed information already. The caller is rude and demanding. Eventually, I asked her, "Look, as an employee of your company, your goal is to make a profit for your company, right?" "Yes," she says. "Even if you think I'm stupid and mistaken about my business, I can assure you that no matter how often you call and how you try to explain what you're doing my business is not interested in your service. It's all a waste of your time. This will not yield a profit for you." She hung up. What AP&G is doing may not be stricly illegal, but it is unethical and underhanded.

On 9/22, I got a phone call from an agent Ashely S. (*** ext ***) from American Power and Gas, LLC. She said it will give me some kind of rebate and their price is lower than PPL. And misleads me to answer "yes" on some recording which played very fast and I could't understand. I was also told I would receive information for what I signed up for in the mail. However that information never arrived by now. After talked about this with my wife and searched online about the bad reputation on this company, I decided to cancel whatever she cheated me to enrolled. I called Ashely on 9/24 and told her to cancel my enrollment on any service with American Power and Gas. She said OK but very rude to hanged on my phone. However today 10/04, I received a letter from PPL to informed me that I have been enrolled in American Power and Gas of PA LLC ***. I think it is the same company with this one. But whatever, please help me to cancel any service with American Power and Gas

AP&G has called our place of business numerous times
AP&G has called our place of business numerous times. We have told them several times we are not interested and to not call us again and take us off their list. They will stop calling for a few months and then start right back up again. This week (06/20/22) they have started calling again. When I confronted them that they were told months ago to not ever call here again, they were very rude and pushy (and that's putting it mildly). If you hang up they call right back and are even worse on the phone. They tell you it's not a sales call, but it is, they want to become your supplier and save you money that your utility company is charging you tons of fees because you haven't named a supplier. That is a sales pitch. However, there are no extra fees on our bill, we checked. But they "promise" you there are. We are not interested in their services. This is a place of business and we do not want to receive anymore of these calls. Please remove all of the following numbers from their database - XXX-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX

I was first contacted by APG last summer and after listening to their sales pitch, I decided I was not interested in doing business with them. At the end of that converstation, I made it clear I was not interested in being contacted again. This morning I received a call from the same representative I spoke to last year. I promptly informed her I was not interested and asked to be placed on their Do Not Call list. The representative immediately called back, speaking over me as to why I should be taking her phone call. She informed me there would be rebates and lower bills and she was "trying to put me up on the game" of how I could be saving money. I am inundated daily with phone solicitations all while attempting to run my small business on my own. The time I am forced to spend fighting off these pushy and sometimes down right rude representatives takes away from my productivity. I respectfully ask to be taken off of American Power and Gas call list permanently. This type of coercion is painfully disruptive to individuals and small business owners like myself.

I have received solicitation calls from this company and I never answer
I have received solicitation calls from this company and I never answer. They leave VMs saying to call back, but as I am not their customer or interested in becoming their customer, I generally do not call back. Today they called again twice, left another VM. I called back and asked to be removed from the calling list. The person told me there was no calling list and there had to be a reason they were calling. I told them I've never been their customer and do not want to be their customer, just please stop calling. The person then told me I must have not completed something with PECO/PGW, so I responded that I would take it up with them. The person laughed softly and told me the utility companies use open market so I'll be paying a higher rate... hearing this confirmed everything I needed to know about the nature of this call. They then asked me if I recently moved, which I haven't, and I responded again, "I don't want to be your customer. Stop calling me" then hung up. Scams and have been happening a lot with PECO/PGW lately, and I believe this to be another one. If they are in fact a legitimate company, their marketing tactics are deceptive, misleading and a nuisance.

As a prior customer of AP&G we ended services over a year ago and requested to not be contacted anymore, yet we continue to receive calls from them. We continue to receive very aggressive sales calls. We have requested numerous times to not be called, yet calls continue to come in. These callers are very aggressive, basically don't allow you to speak and are accusatory that we as a company are not allowing them to have a chance at serving us. I think that it is our choice to conduct our business how we see fit, and we should not be accused of failure to allow another business to provide us services that we have made clear that we are not interested in. I made it very clear today with the caller, who was very rude and very aggressive that we are not interested and we don't want to revive calls anymore. She indicated that she'd do that. However, we have been made that promise before. We have gone as far as placing call blocks on our phones with our provider in an attempt to stop these calls. I made it clear today that we are very happy with our services and billing as they stand, and yet the caller continued to argue about other aspects instead of accepting our wishes and moving on. We want all calls from American Power and Gas to stop, and to never be contacted again.

I received a call from American Power and Gas in regards to switching to them as our new generation supplier
I received a call from American Power and Gas in regards to switching to them as our new generation supplier. I was under the impression that the information I was going to receive in the mail was just that, but a few days after receiving the requested information from American Power and Gas I received a notice of Service Delivery from American Electric and Power stating that we switched. I specifically ask the representative if a commitment to APG was made by responding yes when confirming our mailing address and I was told by the Sales Rep *** Ph # ***) did not want to hurt her reputation or APG's reputation and that's why we are on a recorded line. When I thought I was confirming our address and such, I even stopped the line of questions toward the end of our conversation confirming my contact information, and the line of questions stopped and I was told that I needed to just answer yes. I feel like she did a bait and switch and it's alarming that if this is the way they operate or generate sales then how many times has this company used this sales tactic used on individuals such as elderly people been misled? We operate and make changes by thoroughly gathering and evaluating information and would not have agreed to their services without doing such. I believe this is an unethical practice just to receive positive sales. I have been employed at the *** since 2017 and APG has called every year. This is the 1st year I listen to their sales pitch and this happens. I also believe that a formal investigation needs to be made by the Complaintsboard.com to ensure that they are operating in an ethical manner.

Last week, My Mom and I entered a sweepstakes for this company
Last week, My Mom and I entered a sweepstakes for this company. Worst mistake of my life. I got a phone call on May 31st (today), from a woman named Jennifer who said that she was calling from the company. She called and asked about what type of energy we use (Residential, Commercial, etc.) I told her that I didn't really have time, but she was really pushy. So I went downstairs and found the paper that would have the answer she wanted. During this time, I told the lady that my Mom was disabled and that I was her daughter, and I have to help her sometimes. I don't remember her response, but I think she understood. Anyway, as soon as I said we used Residential energy, she asked if I was comfortable confirming a rebate. I said no, I'm not. Not unless my Mom says so. She got ANGRY. She said that she wanted to speak to my Mom. I said she was sleeping. I didn't want to wake her up because, like I said before, she's disabled and needs the rest. Then she asked a question, which I think was "Can you ask your Mom about the rebate?" I answered her AGAIN with "I'm sorry but she's sleeping". She shot back with "That's not the question I asked you." Her tone was demeaning and made me feel like an idiot. At this point, I was scared and anxious. I think I told her we didn't want to be in the contest anymore and she said she'd call back and talk to my Mom. This crossed the line, but I hate treating people with disrespect. I said okay, and hung up. I woke up my Mom ten minutes later because I was freaking out. I called the company back, and the same person picked up. I handed the phone to my Mom, and my Mom said "No, we're not interested, take my name out of the sweepstakes." Again, the lady got mad and said "Then why'd you even call?" and hung up. I don't get it. I was biting my tongue at times, and she had no regard for who she was speaking to. I want my Mom's name out of the sweepstakes, per her request. Also, we want our number out of their list.
