When the pandemic hit, this left me out of work and unable to pay bills and creditors for over a year
When the pandemic hit, this left me out of work and unable to pay bills and creditors for over a year. I had no income at the time and needed assistance, so I reached out to Americor in July. The thought of consolidating down to one reasonable payment was a life saver up until now. I have had 3 of my creditors paid in full, 2 are currently being paid off and the remaining 3 have been sitting in limbo fo some time. These last 3 creditors have sent me collection notices and all of this has been sent to Americor. With my concern of these last 3 I have asked for advice on how to proceed and have been told to do nothing, but wait that it would be taken care of. I have offered more money in the past and have been told not to every time until now.As of October I am not being sued from one of my creditors and fear that I will have another. I was told to give more funds to Americor, which I have, and have not seen an agreement met. They will not tell me how to proceed, they only give me information that I can see myself on the account. I have asked if this creditor has been communicating with Americor and if we can negotiate more money, which I have given them additional funds so they can do so, and have not seen a change or heard anything. I have been contacted by my county court about a resolution, but have been advised by Americor that it would effect the negotiation process if i communicate with this creditor. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place and want this resolved. I have never been in any legal issue situation and feel like I have been thrown to the wolves and I am on my own. This creditor that is suing me has accumulated $1000 in interest and late fees, when I brought this up to Americor, "if I am found guilty and have to pay not only the full amount but fees," they said this would be my issue. How come I would be responsible for fees for the lack of communication Americor has had with me and the lack of pursuing an agreement. I need help!

I became a customer with this company in March
I became a customer with this company in March . I was told that making extra payments was encouraged and it is easy to decrease the time in the program. All payments were made through December when I not so easily made two very large contributions one for *** on December 21st and another for *** on December 23. I received a letter from an attorney that I submitted to them on March 2nd a legal document and a summons that were sent to me for account ending in ***. I responded to the attorney and they accepted terms for payments of 124 a month for 12 months but if not the judgment would be finalized. On 04/13/2022, I received the finalized judgment that was completed and signed by a judge. Not understanding why I go the judgment I went back to look at the Americor website to find out what happened? After I made the large deposits on Dec 28th the Americor records indicate that there were insufficient funds for that transaction. Again, on January 28th the same insufficient funds status in the records. So basically, they missed paying 2 payments to the attorney when I gave them an extra *** to move forward and pay off bills in this service. Now, I have a judgment against my credit. When there was only one payment to go, I have had to threaten to not give them another cent until they start using the money I gave them to move my account forward. I have spoken to many, many different people there and get the run around. I have more money to pay off the remainder of the accounts but it is now April and they finally are using the money I gave them to pay off bills after I have thrown fit after fit. AND they want to require me to pay more than one payment because I refused to pay them more money until I saw some action. When I said they could take one payment out they said they could only schedule a payment if I scheduled 2 of them in this month otherwise they could not accept my payments. By the way, they still have almost *** in the dedicated

I signed on with Americor for debt settlement purposes
I signed on with Americor for debt settlement purposes. We have contacted them on several occasions to get our debt resolved and we refinanced our home and put cash out towards paying off all debt with Americor and other creditors, which was our initial goal. We want to start building our credit back up! We got debts settled/paid and had extra funds in a dedicated account with them. We had to request those funds go towards payoff of our account. We worked hard and put money aside to do so. On 2/2 we got our final payoff quote of $658.40. I deposited the funds and they stated that once funds had cleared, they would cancel any remaining debits/deposits from our checking account and close out our account. Below is the email confirmation. I emailed them after funds cleared and they said it would go to resolution step. I then got a call that we still owe more money and they can't close our account. They are now asking for $5,202.12. Hello ***,This email is to inform you of the payoff quote you requested. This is a payoff quote based on your settled accounts, any outstanding fees remaining on negotiated accounts, and settlements currently in process. Please note that this payoff quote has an expiration date based on the next scheduled deposit or creditor payment.Your payoff for your agreed-upon settlements in-process is $658.40 with an expiration date of 02/17/2022.This payoff includes the approved negotiated accounts:SEARS/CBNA #***, JCPenney #***, SYNCB/HDHIPJ #***, *** #***, Discover Card #*** and *** #*** Once the funds have been deposited into your dedicated account, all payments will be accelerated to your creditors with settlements in process. Please visit Americor.com/portal to chat with a *** Services agent if you have any questions.Sincerely,Americor *** Services *** Office: *** | Fax: *** | www.americor.com
