Amtrak review: Service and equipment

Car 5343, Room A

1.Could not hear announcements, the PA system was not working properly. This was and is a safety issue!

2. The AC was not functioning properly in Car5343, room A,

3. Our ride north on August 21 in coach was better than our $850 room up grade,

4. We paid $850 for our room upgrade and had an oil room. There were refurbished rooms, why were we not given a refurbished room?

5. Dinner, food was cold. The only item that was good, was the blueberry cobbler cheesecake.

6. Why did you stop having wine and cheese at the beginning of the ride? I understand Amtrak did not pay for the wine it was complementary from a winery. NJ has many new wineries and there are probably other sources that would like the exposure.

7. Bar service is pitiful and put the movies back on.

8. We did not have breakfast, we were told that the breakfast sandwiches were soggy, and Mc Donalds are better!

9. Please consider a credit for the $850 upgrade, as it was a total waste of our money!
