I splurged and ordered heirloom quality pink tourmaline earring studs. They are supposed to be a deep pink hue, lighter shades are expensive. I was very disapointed to open the box to find pale pink stud, prob the lowest grade. They do not include a return label, you must request it, wait a day for them to email it to you, download and print it, as if we all have printers? Then u must find their shipper to mail it back and wait and wait for my refund. What a rip off.

Had an amazing experience at Angara! Purchased a diamond bracelet and emerald necklace. Was very confused about how the site worked. However, customer service walked me through every step of the way. Ankit ***, an Angara agent answered all my questions and even went above and beyond to help me select the jewelry that was the right kind and size. First time using Angara, and my wife was ecstatic with her diamond and sapphire earrings. The packaging and presentation allowed for a surprise present, and the quality of the stones was just as good as advertised. Shipping failed to enter the correct address. Customer service couldn't answer my questions about an order and promised that I would be contacted by management about the matter. Management never contacted me. I attempted emails never get a responded to. Phone calls go directly to voicemail and never hear back. I had to work with UPS to get my order. False Advertising
False Advertising. I have ordered two expensive rings from Angara and both rings were not the quality of gem they described and promised. I have taken the rings to two different jewelers and they have both state that the Stones were NOT the AAAA quality ordered or the AAA quality I ordered. I noticed things were odd after my second order. The ring was a custom made ring of Moonstone. I asked for AAA and its not. Both Jewelers told me it was far bellow that. Worried I asked them to check the Ruby engagement ring I had bought from them years prior. I asked Angara for AAAA "heirloom" quality. Appraised by the Jewelers, they told me it was NOT and was around AAA. I find this to be false advertising and feel foolish for ordering from them twice.

Angara.com has the most extensive selection of jewelry I have ever come across, and each selection can come in various gemstones and then further, your choice of various qualities and colors of gemstones. There is also a selection of yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, etc. It was reassuring for Angara.com to have as standard protocol a 30 day period in which you can return your purchase or exchange it for something else. Mr. Ankit *** was my jeweler at Angara.com and I cannot say enough about his expertise, professionalism, and patience as he assisted in my sapphire stone selection (some people like darker blue, some lighter blue, and some a combination of both). Where can you get a custom-made ring to your exact specifications with so many choices other than at Angara.com? My sapphire ring is GORGEOUS. So extremely pleased.

I bought a few items from this jeweler and had no issues with a ring and a strand of pearls. Both were beautiful and I am in love with them. However, I also bought an opal bracelet for about $1,700. The prongs were not solid and kept pulling at my clothes, so I took it to me local jeweler for repair. He told me the bracelet was poorly made, that I'd need to keep getting the prongs tightened and would eventually lose stones. He said it was a $900 bracelet and was not close to being worth what I paid for it. It was past the 30 return, but I contacted Angara to see what they could do. I was told that I could not return it because it was after the return time, which I understand, but I suggested they allow me to exchange it for another item(s) at a higher price. The reason I wanted to return it was due to poor craftsmanship, but they wouldn't budge. My advice? If you make a purchase take it to a local jeweler and have them look at it. This way you can return it within 30 days if you had an issue like I did. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I just had the most awesome experience with Angara.com! I was looking for a tanzanite ring, necklace, and earring set to commemorate my 70th birthday. I checked with my local jewelers; they had nothing that I was interested in. I began searching online and came across Angara.com. I have never ordered anything of this caliber online before and I was more than a little nervous about it. I read the reviews and because they were so positive I called. I collaborated with ***, Customer Service and Sales Manager to order exactly what I was looking for. *** was very knowledgeable and kept me informed where the jewelers and designers were in the process. My necklace was designed with a plan that had to be approved by me before they would make it. I think *** was as excited about these pieces as I was! I received my tanzanite jewelry and was blown away by all of its beauty! They give new meaning to "Wow"! Angara.com's pricing was reasonable and somewhat lower than reputable jewelers in the community. I will definitely be purchasing from Angara again in the future!
I purchased a sapphire and diamond ring last summer
I purchased a sapphire and diamond ring last summer. I wear the ring approximately one day/week to an office job and take it off when I return home. I was very happy with the ring and thought it was beautiful. During normal daily activity, the mount with the gemstone separated from the ring. The design of the ring is a very tall mount with a narrow band. I contacted Angara and was told to send the ring back for inspection. I was then called and informed I had to pay to have the ring remade due to "inflicted damage". I explained what happened and again was told I "was not telling them something". I then sent an email asking for review and received a response that I "was not telling them something" and could either pay $250 to have the ring rebuilt or the ring could be returned to me in the broken manner. I reluctantly paid and received the remade ring. I have since looked at the current version of the ring and can see the design has been altered to include a reinforcement to the mount and band. I attempted to leave an item review, so others could be aware of the delicate nature of the design, but learned that only positive, 5 star reviews were published. I again contacted them and was told they receive so many reviews, they are unable to publish all of them and it was not uncommon for my review to not be published. My complaint is predominantly that I was treated like a liar and blamed for a design flaw that has since been corrected and Angara does not present a fair and accurate look at their online review presence.

I ordered jewelry from Angara from the CANADIAN website in which it looks like the company has a location in BC
I ordered jewelry from Angara from the CANADIAN website in which it looks like the company has a location in BC. I ordered the jewelry in December. I recieved notification it was shipped Jan. 11th from thailand. I found that odd given that the website is Candian with a BC office. Fine. However I recieved a telephone call from Federal Express that the valuation of the jewelry in the paperwork was only $3. Which I assumed was an error so I told the FedEx agent it was jewelry worth $360 CAN. I contacted Angara with the message from FedEX and included the website message from FEDEX when I tracked the package. The agent at Angara said they would forward to their logistics team and they would contact FedEX. In the meantime the FedEx agent told me he would also try to contact the company.
three weeks later the package is still held up at the Ottawa Airport in customs - they want me to fill at form and go to the airport to pick up the package and probably I would have to pay money through customs. The FedEx agent said he tried to contact Angara MULTIPLE times but got no response. I asked him if Angara had contacted him which they said in an email they would do and he said no. He said they likely valued the package at $3 to avoid taxes. I told him to send it back.
I think this is totally a scam. I contacted Angara again for a full refund and they WILL NOT give me one until they recieve the package. It's ridiculous, I haven't even recieved anything so why should I wait for a refund when this is their error? They took my money in good faith withough me recieving anything at all yet I am forced to wait for a refund from them because of THEIR error? This is unaccpetable and I think there is something fraudulent going on. Why would the package of jewewrly be valued at 3 dollars?
They will not give me a refund until they get the package back. Unacceptable. I would like my refund right away.

I am a new customer to Angara I came to find you after years, literally, of searching for a perfect ring for my significant other to celebrate our years together. During the time of Covid 19, I turned away from the brick and mortar shops where I live and to online shopping. I researched many different companies and settled on Angara for its ComplaintsBoard.com rating, reviews, and standing as Newsweek's #1 online jeweler.
I found what I was looking for, but had many questions about the ring and much trepidation about my first time dealing with an online jeweler. I called your 800 number and was EXTREMELY fortunate to speak with Ankit ***. Ankit is perhaps the most consummate professional in the jewelry business I have ever met. Extraordinarily knowledgeable, quick to respond, no pressure, and was instrumental in customizing the ring for me after answering all my questions.
I ordered the ring and received it, all the while communicating with Ankit either through phone, email or text. The ring looked great except for the saturation of color. I sent Ankit pictures and talked it over with him. There was no question in my mind that he was there to assist me in becoming the happiest I could be with the ring. I sent it back, extremely nervous that I was trusting the mail and a company across the country with an expensive and important purchase. I was worried I wouldn't get it back to me on time for a special weekend (this weekend). Worried that I may have made a mistake. Just plain worried. Ankit assured me that Angara would deliver. I know this is not the most expensive piece of jewelry you have or even close, but Ankit made me feel that I was the most important customer he had and my satisfaction was his only job. Ankit communicated with me constantly during the return process, the re-fitting of stones into the ring, and the return of the ring to me. I got it today and its perfect. And I know that my love will absolutely cherish it.
To have Ankit as the contact for me with Angara was like having a trusted friend walk me through a very important purchase...never thinking of a sale, but thinking what I was thinking..."how can we make this guy happy with what is so important to him". When things open up again, I will never return to a jeweler or a store near me or even in Boston, near where I am. I will call Ankit and give my business to Angara, because I now have someone I trust with my most important jewelry decisions.
I have been in executive positions most of my career and what I wouldn't give to have even 1 employee working for me or with me just like Ankit. ***, I am so impressed with him that I would even work for him at this point!

Awful experience
If I could give this company 0I would. My partner bought me an engagement ring with an opal stone. He bought the ring a couple of months before he proposed to me, which I think is a pretty standard procedure. Anyway a couple of months after he bought the ring he proposed I obviously said yes. I must have been wearing the ring for a week and the opal fell out. We called customer service which is based in the USA and are absolutely appalling. The member of staff insinuated that because I've had the ring for months it must be something I've done. I explained my partner had only just proposed and I had only been wearing the ring for a week. He then went on to tell me that he doesn't believe and the stone wouldn't just fall out on its own. Luckily I did find the stone on the kitchen floor so we sent it back to Angara to get repaired. They did try and change us ?130 or so for the repair but we refused and they did send us the ring back having been repaired. This was last year. I've been really nervous about wearing the ring in case the same thing happens again. So this week after a year of the ring being in its box and my partner getting in at me about wearing it I decided I will risk it and wear the ring. Within 2days of me wearing the ring once again the opal has fallen out only this time I haven't found the gemstone. I am absolutely gutted as my partner spent a lot of money on this ring money that we don't have a lot of just to get ripped off. There is not point in me calling customer service again as the first time they was so rude and no help at all. I just warn you all DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They will rip you off!

The third payment is scheduled to be charged to my credit card on August 21. What the business promised to provide: I ordered a scalloped-edge diamond nine stone anniversary band with a total carat weight of 1 1/2. The gemstone quality is H, SI2. The business guaranteed that the value of the ring would be at least 125% of the purchase price. They also stated that returns are free within 30 days. Nature of disputes: I had an independent appraiser evaluate the ring (I submitted a copy of the appraisal to Angara), and it did not match the quality I had purchased. The appraised value of the ring was also lower than 125% of the purchase price. Despite the website stating that returns are free within 30 days, Angara is requesting a 25% restocking fee. I tried to resolve the issue within the 30-day window, but Angara took 13 days to respond to my email. Business's attempt to resolve: We have exchanged emails, but we were unable to reach a resolution. I can provide the email correspondence upon request.

I purchased a ring for my girlfriend in March . I gave it to her in April . In June the stone fell out, I reached out to the company twice through Amazon without success. I finally contacted the company directly via email and was told they will not stand behind their product.
Transaction was June 6th. Order a custom designed ring. Received ring and other jewelers told me that it was not the quality that I was being told. I contacted the business and they initially refused a return or a refund. I filed a review on here and they offer to replace the stone of the ring. I sent it back and got an even worse stone. I contacted the business for a full refund. They refused, but then offered a *** refund with a 25% "restocking fee." I accepted and asked for an email confirming this today *** They sent that at 7am and I dropped the packed off at UPS. At *** today, their sales manager ***, who told me I would get a *** in the email, changed their mind and told me that if there was "if the ring was not like new"..there would not be a *** refund. I am afraid this business is going to look for any reason to not refund me.

Requesting refund for order XXXXXX after purchasing a ring on December 30. The ring needed resizing, so I sent it back. However, the resizing distorted the ring, prompting me to seek a refund. I shipped it via next day mail on January 28, and it arrived on February 3rd. I was denied a refund due to exceeding the 30-day return window, but the ring was with the jeweler for resizing during that time and only returned to me on January 27. I am seeking a full refund due to these circumstances.

Ring had a diamond missing. Diamond was found in ring box. Defective product. My fiance purchased a ring in July . He proposed December . The ring was missing a diamond. Found diamond in the ring box. They said I could have it repaired but no refunds would be issued after 30 days. I'm very disappointed that a new ring had a diamond missing. I spoke to 3 customer service reps then asked to speak to a manager who has not called me. It's not like I've worn the ring since the purchase date. Reps are not at all helpful. They have scripted answers and don't try to really work with the customer.

will not issue a return for my ***. I am past the 30 day period but they delivered the item a week later than promised on the site. I ordered a ring which they said would be delivered by that Thursday. The ring was a gift for my girlfriend who lives a state away. The ring was then not delivered until the following Tuesday and I was unable to give the ring as a gift until the next time I visited. This was the entire cause of the delay to the return. They should also not be promising a delivery date when they did not even get it out of the warehouse until the day they said it would be delivered.

Return Label Issue. I spoke with a representative. He agreed to send me the return label. They received it on 9/17 but I'm still charged. I want a full refund as the Blue sapphire pendant necklace was not received - I only got purple earrings. I'm being charged an undisclosed amount. I'm upset and the manager apologized, sending me the return label. After returning the earrings, I expected a refund but instead, I'm facing charges. I have proof of the tracking number for your reference.

I was never notified by email or online account, so I called on July 12th. The customer service person said they would submit another request and I would receive an email. I always check spam and my online account. I never received any communication from Angara. I called again on August 14th and was assured someone would send me an authorization and follow up with me within 24 hours. I received no communication. Angara does not honor their return policy and makes it very difficult or impossible for customers to send returns.

First she said that I should go and chase the order myself.. I told her I don't drive. She said I should take UBER. I told her there's a pandemic and I will not take public transportation. She said well then there's nothing they could do because it was all my fault because I keyed in the wrong address. I knew I put in the correct address when I placed the order so I went back and retrieved a copy of my order from their website and sent that as proof to her. When I sent her that then she changed to another excuse and said they sent me an order confirmation and that I should have noticed the wrong address at that time (I don't always check my emails and why would assume there would be a problem since the address was correct when I placed the order in the first place, plus there is no requirement or must to check order confirmations. This woman even called me a thief during our chat when she said " if you KNOW the people that live at the wrong address maybe you should give them a call! When I asked her if she thought I sent the order to a different address on purpose her response was (WE SHOULD NOT DISCUSS THIS ANY FURTHER) and then tried to clean it up by saying well I figured if you do know the people at the wrong address maybe you should give them a call (why would I know the people at the wrong address) first off what are the chances of me knowing someone at the exact same house and avenue number as mine...but just different street number). I told her you haven't even contacted UPS or tried to put in a claim. Her response was WE WILL NOT put in a claim. In other words they will not do anything, it was up to me to chase the order that they sent to the wrong place! After that she sent me an email telling me that she contacted UPS and UPS informed her that they will not do anything more with my order because it was MY fault that the package went to the wrong place! So I contacted ups and was informed that they had not heard from Angara and that they would never say something like that! It's been one lie after the other with this Company...from *** telling me that it was MY fault that I keyed in the wrong address, when I sent in proof that was not the case then she changed to the fact that they had sent me an order confirmation with the incorrect address so why didn't I pick it up then? Well I don't check order confirmations, why would I when I saw that when I placed the order that everything was correct? And then this woman calling me a thief! I'm mortified and very upset.This company to me are crooks! I will include our chat as well as copies of my order at the time i placed the order.
