I got a rv canopy from ANS Steel Buildings, LLC and it was a total disaster. They took my $500 deposit and then didn't show up on the day we agreed on. They said they would come on Thursday instead, but I couldn't take off work that day. They got mad and left when I told them they had to come on Friday like we agreed. I called the office and they said I had to take it on Thursday or lose my deposit. I couldn't do that because I have a big solar project to manage. They changed the day, not me. Now I'm out $501 and have no canopy. Don't trust these guys!

I bought a big carport from Deals on Wheels in Gladwin, Mi. on [protected]. ANS Steel Buildings, owned by ***, put it up in April or May . They said it has a 1 year workmanship warranty. When I picked the roof, ***, at Deals on Wheels asked where it would go so he could figure out the snow load and if it would be in a windy spot like by a lake or open field. It's in the woods. So he said this roof would work. It's been leaking since day one. They put caulk on it when they put it up on the 1 seam. They put more caulk on it 1 month later. Still leaked. They put more caulk on it 1 month after that. Still leaked. Now *** says we got the wrong roof and I should have known it would leak because it has a seam. I talked to her a lot, and also her worker ***, who said it's always going to leak. The better roof would have cost $1,200 more when I first bought it.

I bought a building from ANS Steel Buildings, LLC on 6/3/2022 and it was built on 8/3/2022. It only took two days to build and cost me $22,512.65. However, I'm having some problems with it. The panels are unevenly cut and don't match the building. They're jagged and sharp, and there's already rust forming on the painted trim and side panels because the paint was scratched during installation. I've tried to get in touch with the company, even the owner, but they keep putting me off. They say they'll schedule a repair, but weeks go by with no communication. When they finally sent out a crew to replace the trim and bad side panels, they only brought four pieces of side trim that were completely different from what was initially installed. The crew also cut some of the J channel, leaving it sharp and jagged and exposed. I've called and emailed roughly 20 times in the past two and a half months, but they refuse to call me back. The only time they'll tell me anything is when I call multiple times in a day. When I scheduled the building to be constructed, they had me scheduled within a week, but now that they have my money, they're dragging me along. They keep saying they'll fix the problems, but I can't even get anyone to call me back. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with, and I regret ever dealing with them. I just want the issues fixed or some kind of refund.

We bought a steel building with garage doors (with full installation included) in June. The start date was supposed to be 6/29, but the contractors never showed up or communicated that they wouldn't be starting until 6/30. ANS made us rent heavy equipment for the job since they didn't include the rental in the original quote. We were told we would need the equipment for one day, but ended up needing to rent it for 3 days. The contractors didn't know how to use the equipment requested and got it stuck in the job site multiple times. We paid for 2 of the 3 days. ANS only reimbursed us for one day. We paid in full July 2 even though the building wasn't completed yet because we were told it would be completed while we were out of town for the July 4 holiday weekend. We paid $18,331.90 in a cashiers check. Contractors have been back multiple times and still didn't complete the job. We've called their office over 20 times since July with no return calls until a contractor was in route to our house, sometimes at 9 PM or later. I asked the owner, ***, if I could hire a garage door company to finish the job and submit the bill. She agreed over the phone. We hired *** of MI and paid $1,036.92 to have the doors fixed (installed incorrectly and unsafe by ANS contractors) and finished. The springs were installed incorrectly and the hardware holding the doors weren't strong enough to support their size. *** informed me that the doors could've fallen out of the tracks due to lack of correct bracing and too small hardware. All of this was corrected by ***, making the doors functional and the barn safe to use. I sent *** the invoice and she informed me she would not be paying for any of it. She will no longer return my call, which I've tried calling 3 times in the past 7 business days. We were told this job would take a max of 5 days and it's been over four months. We would like to be reimbursed for the garage door repair cost.
