Arizona Public Service [APS] review: Neighbor's very bright outdoor security light

Dear Sirs:

I live in rural Hereford, Arizona where it is very dark. My newest neighbor had you install a security light that is VERY bright, I have tried to get her to either lower it or put some sort of shield on it/ or BOTH!. Buts, she claims that it has been there for 25 ears. And that you say it does not affect me. That is simply NOT TRUE. I have been here five years and it has not been there! Or, it has never been turned on.

I am a Vietnam combat veteran with PTSD, and I require it to be dark for sleeping; that is why I moved here; and her bright light shines in my bedroom window. I cannot sleep when my curtains are closed... but I also cannot sleep with her bright light!

I contacted you by phone on August 31, 2023, and was told that someone would contact me in-order to resolve this issue. No one has!

I appreciate that she feels the need for that light... but it is the only one of it's kind here now. Before the installation, I had no problems! It is VERY bright.

The light is located at the corner of E. Clinton Road and S. Border Mountain Road, Hereford, AZ. Her name is Rhonda, I believe.

Please get this resolved quickly... for me as a traumatized combat veteran, it is a health issue.
