makeup palette
I had ordered the James Charles palette for my friend for Christmas. It had come after Christmas, beginning of January. I had giving it to my friend a week later when I had seen her. She went to go open it and use it and noticed it wasn't the real James Charles palette. Red the Ingredients and seemed off. Tried to contact seller & it said they didn't exist. The color of the front of the box seems so off like it was printed off the computer. Those ingredients aren't listed on the actual James Charles make up palette.
I am waiting for my order and have not received it~ not happy!!
I don't know what's going on but I haven't received my order and I am very upset. It was a Christmas gift and Christmas has passsed! It has been impossible to Track my order, which I was given the tracking number. I placed my order on Dec. 18th and received the Tracking email on the 20th. The message stated that it would be shipped to my door soon. The seller is Starfashion and the seller's name is supposedly Nguyen Van Ban. The item is a "Mookie Betts 50 Boston Red Sox Navy Jersey". The $41.78 has been deducted from my account and I need answers on when I will receive my order. If I don't receive it within a day or two, I will turn the site in to the BBB and that will shut sales down for everyone. This is ridiculous! I need some communication from the seller!
Email me at [protected]@gmail.com
stephan diggs jersey
I ordered a Minnesota Vikings Stephan Diggs Jersey for 59.99, thinking it was coming from the United States in a Large, when i finally received it and tried it on it was 2 sizes too small, No Refund was given and was told that they sent me the right size, i should reorder and they would give me a 30% discount, the person I ordered from the email address said that they were from Arizona, there was no way of knowing it was coming from China, the size would have fit correctly if it was made in America.

Honestly Artfire needs to man up and babysit there children (sellers) obviously. I also haven't received my order. If there is a class action lawsuit, I'm aboard. I'm tired of of scams and the people and companies behind them.
scamlier
I bought a 1st birthday outfit for my daughter and never received it by her birthday ..which was a month ago..after I contact the seller and customer's service through email..they said idk if you joking or trying to scam us but when you bought the outfit with PayPal we automatic contacted you threw email..and that I must have gotten on of the email's.. OK like one I paid with a credit card NOT PayPal..two if I got a email I wouldn't be pissed off trying to find my baby girls outfit just to to see if I would have it for her birthday.. I was divested and really upset and I'm never order anything from artfire ever again..oh by the way i never got my money back
no service, no response
I will never return. I have had enough.
I have spent a long time on endless one side attempt to contact their stupid customer service. They never respond.
You know, it would always be easier to call and express your emotions in words, but this company prefers to hide behind emails. Ok, but looks like my emails were never read and it extremely irritates me.
What a customer is to di if he/she desperately need their assistance? There's no answer, unfortunately.
It's horrible.
total scam
Once they have your credit card information, it will be hard to get rid of their charges. Remember my words.
They have lots of fees for absolutely everything, you'll be surprised.
If you ask for explanations, they will find no words to say, they themselves have no idea.
So you better read the reviews first. For example, I had to close my bank account and change my credit card number not be constantly charged for nothing. It's impossible to cancel their subscriptions.
So be very careful and try to use different services that will be more honest to customers.
Having the same issue. I just filed a complaint with the better business bureau.
Stay away from ArtFire and shop elsewhere!
Purchased a swimsuit from www.artfire.com two weeks ago. I paid for the product and haven't received it yet. There was also no payment confirmation which seemed strange to me.
I contacted the seller regarding my order status and two days later finally received a response stating that my swimsuit was no longer in stock!
I asked them to cancel my order but they said that it wasn't possible and started to offer me all kinds of other things. I refused and said that all I want is my money. They stopped replying. Terrible place, stay away from ArtFire and shop elsewhere.
Ripped me off
Beware of Hope Kephart on Artfire!
This woman will rip you off, I purchased a stained glass piece from her on may30, 2013 after several emails inquiring about the delivery status, I eventually received the item (cracked in 2 places) on july 11, 2013. I immediately contacted her and told her that it arrived damaged. She told me to take several pictures of the box and item and to email them to her so that she could collect from the insurance company. I told her that I would however the box was in excellent shape and the item was packed ok so the pictures probably won't help her case. She stated for me to insure it for $300.00 and send it back to her and she would repair it and send out a check for the cost of insuring it and shipping it back to her. Well here it is august 30, 2013 and I still haven't heard from her as to my money. She has ignored my several attempts at recovery but she has chosen to rip me off. I think that this could possibly be an insurance scam where she sends it to you damaged then turns the claim into her insurance company and collects money then blows you off! Her bio states how seriously she takes customer satisfaction and that she has never had a piece delivered broken well I guess that i'm the first. I told her that I understand that accidents happen and all I want is to have the problem rectified well she has chosen to stop all communications and simply burn me. She is not trustworthy and you should not be fooled by her web page. Artfire allows the sellers to monitor customer comments and to post only the ones that they want to. So surprise you wont see any negative feedback on any artfire artists. What kind of a joke is that! This woman is a thief and will rip you off stay away from her web sight there are plenty of professional artists that deserve your money and appreciate your business without ripping you off! Her personal finances must be in trouble if she would rip off a good customer for $35.31. If I can help prevent one person from getting ripped off by hope kephart on artfire (stained glass) then it was worth the time spent on this message
Hope Kephart ripped me off in 2011, so she's been at this for a while. She used to have a store on Etsy. I ordered two pieces for my 20th anniversary gift to my husband, paid for in advance via PayPal invoice. Soon after ordering I was sidetracked by an illness and death in my family, so I did not follow up as soon as I should have. (This makes Hope's protests above seem rather rich.) Once I realized that the pieces were not coming, I was past the 45-day period for a PayPal complaint, and Hope's Etsy store had been shut down. Etsy would not help me because I had paid via PayPal invoice (required for shipping to Canada) instead of using the Etsy checkout system... even though it appeared that she had re-opened the store on Etsy under a new name! (with the same item photos). I was scammed for over $300. I found an email address for her husband, sent an email asking for my items, but did not get a reply.
Lesson learned. Sad that she is still getting away with this. I'm was happy to see that this page as the first hit when I searched for "Hope Kephart"... My 25th anniversary is next week -- any chance that I'll get the stained glass I paid for five years ago?
I finally received my stained glass after I involved the district attorney's office. It is beautiful.
Update from my above comment. I was told that Hope was going to file harassment charges against me if I kept bothering her for my money back .. The same money I sent her for the stained glass she never made for me.
I ordered a beautiful stained glass panel from Hope back in April. I sent her a check(1st mistake) back in April which she cashed as soon as she got it. I didn't hear back for a month when I emailed her about the status, she said she had a big order and mine was next. I never heard from her again. I've been sending daily emails and facebook messages.I even tried calling her telephone, its been disconnected. She must have been getting a lot of complaints. I did come across a photo of the panelIi ordered but it had another artist name on it. I'm not even sure she does stained glass. I gave her plenty of opportunity to reach out to me if something had happened in her personal life I told her I would understand she could just refund me the $. I am a trusting person so the fact that someone would do this to me especially someone who has a family with children like myself really bothers me. This was a gift from my boys who saved their money(without scamming people) to give to me to put towards the panel. I have not told them yet about it. I keep hoping it will show up and it was all a misunderstanding. I have a feeling it won't though.
Ordered mine in summer of 2014. After three weeks of not receiving it, I contacted her and was told story after story about all the sad things going on in her life and how she hadn't had time to make it yet. Really? The stained glass piece was listed "as shown" and already made. If I had seen all these posts, I never would have purchased from her. The ArtFire page has been taken away, and she has now gone onto to using other sites. As for me, I filed a complaint with PayPal. She was given time to reply or forward shipping confirmation. On the final day to reply, she shipped the stained glass. I couldn't believe it when I received - what a mess! How could anyone, in good faith, send something so shameful! Shame on you Hope Kephart for stealing peoples hopes, dreams, and our money!
I ordered two pieces and was told they would ship soon. 3 month later and nothing. I am still trying to get my money back and artfire shut down here store there. I guess I'm just out the 200 bucks.
It has been two years since I ordered a piece from Hope, she started scamming people in 2012. I am out $115 for a piece she was supposed to create for me. I filed a case against her on at sea so she's no longer permitted to sell on there, but it doesn't help me get my money back as I was outside the window to claim her scam on PayPal. You can find her on Facebook and her PayPal email address is on the photo I included below, she's a scam artist.
I am normally not one to post complaints on-line, but am at a loss on how to proceed. I ordered a stained glass window from Hope back in late August. It was for a special order. She quoted me a price via e-mail, which I agreed to and I promptly sent her a check which was cashed on September 4, 2014. As of today, December 15, 2014, I still have not received the window. The last communication with Hope was on November 8 where she e-mailed me that she had the packing materials in hand and the window would be shipped early the following week. I have sent several e-mails asking for a shipping number and have left several voice-mail messages requesting a status. Not a single response to my multiple requests. I am still hopeful that Hope will either honor the order or return my check, but given no communication for the last 6 weeks, the prospects are looking bleak.
I am in the process of being mis treated by this seller : Hope Kephart. I initially contacted her early spring of this year after seeing her windows on Artfire. I contacted her several times, we even spoke on the phone, and she seemed conscientious and willg to work with me. There were several of windows I liked, and then after much deliberating I was in a place where my finances were unstable, thus I did not order at that time. As summer progressed I secured some new clients and re established contact with Hope, that was July i believe (I'd have to g back into the emails t be sure) eventually I placed an order for 4 windows, and we connected several times, however when she said she would have to MAKE the windows, and it would take "time" a "few weeks" I was bewildered thinking I was buying ones already made. Then I did not hear for awhile, and sent her a email requesting knowledge of when and how she thought they would ship, at that time she asked if she could bill to Pay pal...I really don't like on line billing, then agreed. On my credit card statement there was a charge for the amount we had agreed upon by paypal on 7/16/14. Thus I assumed she had shipped my merchandise, thus again contacted her via email asking when they were shipped, and by what carrier...I got no answer, there was another time I emailed her with the same inquiry, stating that I was to be away from my home, for a day or two, and did not want the windows to be sitting on my back door, and when were they shipped, when did she think they would arrive and by what carrier...no response. I than checked out pay pal's terms and saw that if there was a dispute I would have to notify them with in 60 days..which was fast approaching, so I send a notice to them stating I was billed but had not received the goods. I also notified Artfire and my credit card. Artfire said they take this very seriously and would look into it, however I have not heard back from them. When I looked on artfire for her work I could not find her.
My only means to contact her is via email which she has not responded to.
Five days ago I did recieve two of my four windows, safely packaged, with no invoice, no note other than a hand written note not to force or pry the windows free of the wood frame around them...no name or mention of my two other windows.
I send her a copy of the initial order for my windows along with a request to know when the others would be arriving.
I can personally vouch for Hope Kephart and how seriously she takes her Customer Satisfaction. This person only wants to attack others, while not wanting to admit that she did indeed get taken care of and cashed the check. It is not even worth commenting on any more than that.
Very disappointing, very shady business
BEWARE of Artfire.com The website is barely functional...and very clunky...annoying to use. I would imagine that they hook in many with the 14 DAY FREE TRIAL... I signed up to give the 14 days a try and I cancelled my subscription on the 14th day. A day later I was charged for a month.
When I tried to get my money back I was told that somewhere in the terms of service there is a clause that you must cancel at least 72 hours prior to the end of the 14 day trial in order to not be charged for the month...WOW... TALK ABOUT SHADY BUSINESS!
This site is obviously set up to scam people... It's unfortunate how many people are out there trying to steal a few bucks from creative people who just want to make their items available for sale. Whoever runs the Artfire.com website, they do not have the user's interest in mind...and from most of these 1 star reviews, they don't have any safeguards set up for buyers either.
Very disappointing, very shady business. Stay away ! Etsy might not be as good as it used to be, but at least their website functions very well and looks good, and they won't charge you for absolutely nothing!
It's been 37 days and I still have not received my purchase. Claims have been made that it was shipped, but it wasn't. Wouldn't give me the first "tracking number" and the second tracking number that was provided does not work...probably because it still hasn't been shipped. Very upsetting and disappointing.
Very Angry! Ordered a cake topper for the grooms cake for our wedding. Paid $123.99 total In January of 2013 after many e-mails with numerous excuses, i have still not received my item and it is now April of 2013 and my emails are no longer being answered. If your thinking about buying anything online, google the site with the words complaints or scam after it and be sure that you get a clear picture of whether or not they can be trusted or not.
I had the horrible experience with them
The site itself looks horrendous! It looks like a 10 year old designed it. The font is huge! It looks ridiculous. The first time I signed up for the site, I was signing up for a free trial. I am sure that I would not have chosen to pay for such a crappy site with horrible functions. If anyone from Artfire reads this I would like them to take some constructive feedback from this:
1. If you want to improve redesign the entire site at your appropriate age level.
2. Navigating through the site is not simple enough. Sellers need a clean site to have a comfortable selling experience.
3. NOTIFY PEOPLE WHEN YOU ARE BILLING THEM!
I had the horrible experience of thinking I was signed up for a free trial and really getting billed $12 a month without knowledge of it! I didn't post on the site and didn't make any money from it and I was still billed!
Scam
"Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!" That is the best explanation I can give of this website and the seller Grime Designs on this website. Grime Designs shipped me an unapproved wedding program, which had spelling errors, I received the shipment the day before my wedding even though I placed the order a month and a half before my wedding. When I received the programs there was a misspelling and upon checking the proof I approved, I found there was no misspelling. Grime Designs made changes to the program after I approved it, did not take responsibility for making this change, did not offer any apologies for making the error and only refunded half of my money, even though they are the ones who made the error. Artfire.com has an option to rate the seller, but BUYER BEWARE because it is up to the seller as to whether or not they post your rating, so I gave Grime Designs the lowest score possible and it did not affect their rating at all. So if you go to ArtFire and look up Grime Designs it looks as if they have never had any negative feedback. When contacting Artfire.com to log a complaint about the rating system, they quit responding to my emails, even though they were fast to reply when they knew I was trying to set up a rating. Once they found out I had a complaint, I could not receive any replies back from them. I would never suggest anyone make any purchases from this website, they have horrible customer service and no interest in helping the buyers feel safe when making purchases.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The site is broken from the people who run it to the site itself
The site is broken from the people who run it to the site itself. The forums are brutal & overrun with bullies. It's no wonder that there are some 5 star ratings. Those are the same people who have cussed others out for disagreeing with anything there. One even went so far as to tell a frustrated seller who was closing shop to "f"ing go and if no one liked what she said..."blow me". Just a small example of the type of words coming from a maven & mentor. Shameful! I was cussed at and left after one year
Artfire.com mislead and deceived me
Artfire.com mislead and deceived me. They told me to sign up for a free 1 month membership and then if I wanted to continue after the month I would be charged $11.99. Well, they charged me the very second I signed. I have been emailing and leaving messages numerous times to get my money back, but they have chosen to ignore me for so long. I am about to file a complaint with the FTC.
Stay away. Do not do business with these crooks.
I placed an order on Artfire.com to the company of WordstoWear. and It has been over a month now and after 15 emails i Still have not recieved any product. I just wasted my money on this. THIS SUCKS! Don't waste your TIME and MONEY!
listed on Bing shopping: Keurig B31 mini k-cup prewer for $29.00 - i tried to order this unit and the website took all the information and would NOT place toe order. i soon received (8) e-mails from this website soliciting orders. this is a fake ad run on Bing Shoping. i can be contacted at roland_ppp@hotmail.com
Items never get found in search. Customer service sucks! You can never reach a person and it takes days and days to get a response to an email. The forum is worse than a high school clique. A group of about 15 sellers that rule the roost and degrade outsiders. This site will be closed soon.
hello i have also been deceived. exactly the same case. I closed my shop one after the free trial one month and they received money from my account every month after it had already been closed.
I have no idea how many sales I lost due to their error
I hand make all of my items and work very hard to keep my customers happy. I began with listing a few of my items I paid every month and my items were promoted a lot. I also have an etsy site that I sell alot of items on. I never had even one sale on Art Fire. I had Facebook friends who tried to purchase my items tell me there was a broken link on the site. I have no idea how many sales I lost due to this error. I contacted them and they told me there was no broken link and that my items just did not sell. Funny how i cannot keep them in stock on etsy.
Stay away from these crooks
As a marketplace venue hosting many individual shops, this site has more bugs for both buyer and seller than any other online selling venue (Ebay, Etsy, Zibbet for example). Admin of the site are rude, state untruths causing sellers to waste time fixing things in their shop and have gone on a mute and boot rampage deleting good sellers who have questioned any decision that has been made regarding the site. Forum - stay out or be prepared for an onslaught of verbal abuse from a select group of sellers who seem to be admin's (Tony's ) chosen few. Language used is rude, belligerent, condescending - yet non of those partaking in such posts get muted, only those who dare question the site's functioning. Beware.
The site is broken, it doesn't work
I started selling at ArtFire in 2009 and at first really liked it. The forums were friendly, there was a real sense of teamwork, everybody was helpful, including the COO, Tony Ford, and my sales were terrific. Last summer, the entire site took a nosedive and became the opposite of what it was. There has been a great deal of contention, implementation of crazy programs that don't work, kicking sellers off the site or muting them if they ask too many questions, a drastic reduction in the number of sales for many of us, and blaming sellers for problems.
In addition, there is a secret forum where where about 7 to 10 members of Tony's "Team" decide how they are going to handle unhappy sellers, which is usually to gang up, swear at them, make fun of them, and take any serious subject off topic. The mavens in Tony's special group will tell people they are "similar to a dangling turd" or to "F off" and "blow me."
The site is broken, it doesn't work, and the COO, Tony Ford, has a million excuses. ArtFire is not a healthy place to be, either for your pocketbook, or your psychological state.
No refund and their customer service can do nothing
I placed an order with one of their sellers and when he didn't ship I inquired to find he waited to get my money to buy the necessary supplies. I canceled the order. He then shipped the order and promised a refund anyway. He lied, no refund and their customer service says (after 6 months of emails) they can do nothing.
