Disappointed with Avery's Shipping Time and Label Quality
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Avery. The shipping time is just ridiculous. I mean, who has the patience to wait over a week for their order to even ship out, and then another week and a half for it to arrive? It's not like they're giving it away for free either, so you'd think they could at least get it to you in a reasonable amount of time.
I placed my order on June 7th, and it's now June 19th and I'm still waiting. I got the confirmation that it shipped on the 11th, so I was hopeful that it would arrive soon after. But nope, still waiting. And honestly, the quality of the labels isn't even that great. When I took them out of the packaging, they looked all foggy and smudged underneath. Definitely not the glossy finish I was expecting.
It's like the adhesive underneath was getting wiped off a little, but it sticks on okay if you keep pressing down on it. But seriously, how am I supposed to run my business if I have to wait weeks for my labels to arrive? This is just crazy. I don't think I'll be ordering from Avery again anytime soon.
Avery Design & Print App Review: Frustration and Overwhelm Without It
I've been using Avery design & Print for years now, ever since I started my wedding sweet company and invitations. I used to enjoy designing something unique and personal for my customers, but since the app stopped working, I've been struggling to keep up with my orders. I hate to admit it, but I've been feeling frustrated and overwhelmed.
The online version is just not the same. It's impossible to do the intricate details and special designs that I used to do on the app. I've never been behind on orders before, but now I find myself putting them off for a few days because it's just too frustrating to attempt it on a tablet.
I used to love my work, but now without the app, I hate it. Why do people have to change something that's not broken and working perfectly fine? It's so frustrating. If I can't find another app to do my work, I might have to give up my business. I have to use a tablet/iPad because I'm disabled, and it's the reason I bought the iPad and iPad Air for work when I had the app.
Listen to the people, Avery. We all want the app back. It was so much easier and more efficient. I hope you can bring it back soon.
Avery Labels: Great Quality, Frustrating Website
I've been using Avery labels for a while now and have had mixed experiences. While I appreciate the quality of the labels themselves, I've had some frustrating experiences with their website. For example, I recently purchased some square 1.5" labels and assumed I could easily download a free template from Avery's website. However, when I went to look for the template, I found the website to be needlessly complicated and difficult to navigate.
It's frustrating to me that Avery would sell me labels without providing an easy way to use them. I mean, come on, you already have my money - why not just give me the template I need to use the labels? I don't want to spend hours on your website trying to find what I need. It's a waste of my time and makes me less likely to buy from Avery in the future.
I think Avery needs to simplify their website and make it easier for customers to find what they need. Instead of bombarding me with ads and trying to sell me more products, why not just provide a simple box where I can enter the label number and download the template I need? It would save me a lot of time and frustration, and make me more likely to continue using Avery labels in the future.
Overall, I think Avery needs to focus more on customer satisfaction and less on trying to sell me more products. If they can simplify their website and make it easier for me to use their labels, I'll be more likely to continue using their products in the future. But if they continue to make things needlessly complicated, I'll probably start looking for alternatives.
Disappointed with Avery's Print to the Edge Round Labels Template - Frustrating and Difficult to Use
I'm an old secretary who used to use Avery templates like a pro. But now, after only two years of retirement, I'm finding the template sites to be a real pain in the neck. I'm starting to think that Avery wants me to click on their site so they can print off my project for me. The latest problem I had was with the template for "Print to the Edge Round Labels" Avery ***. First of all, you can't print to the edge because warning signs keep popping up that text may be cut off during the printing process. Secondly, even when I stayed within the suggested parameters, the template was way off both vertically and horizontally. This left me with only two out of the twelve labels that printed on my first page barely usable. I spent almost two hours trying to figure out my own template for the 20 sheets of labels I purchased at Office Depot. Now I'm going to scour the internet for possible templates from other sources that might match what I have, and if necessary, I'll buy a different brand. I'm so disappointed (and mad, can you tell?) at Avery! I used to love their templates, but now I'm not so sure. It's like they don't care about their customers anymore. I mean, why make it so difficult to use their products? It's not like I'm the only one having these problems. I've talked to other people who have had similar issues with Avery templates. It's just frustrating, you know? I wish they would go back to the way things used to be. It was so much easier back then. But I guess that's just the way things are now.
Review: Avery Design&Print - A Bit of a Gamble, But Worth the Effort?
Printing Avery labels with Design&Print can be a bit of a gamble these days. I understand why some people get upset about it. The labels can be pretty expensive, so it's frustrating when you make a mistake. I downloaded the Design&Print software onto my MAC, and it's okay, but it can be a real pain to use. Sometimes I switch back to Microsoft WORD because it's simpler, faster, and more reliable. There are just too many options in Design&Print, and it's not always intuitive. Plus, it often prints out of alignment, which is a real bummer. Tech support told me to mess around with the alignment settings in the software, but that doesn't help me get a refund for the misprints.
But wait, there's more! I'm not a fan of Avery's "Durable labels, ***" because they don't stick well enough to surfaces like plastic. Come on, Avery, can't you make them more adhesive? And don't even get me started on the ink fading in the sun. That's an Epson issue, though, so I'll save that for another review.
All in all, printing Avery labels can be a bit of a headache, but it's not all bad. If you're patient and willing to play around with the settings, you can get some pretty decent results. And if you do mess up, citrus cleaners like "Desolve-It" work wonders for getting the labels off. Good luck with your printing!
Disappointing Customer Support Experience with Avery: Frustrations with Contact Options and Help Section
I recently had an experience with Avery that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. As an employee of a business, I was looking to reach out to the company to ask a question and provide feedback about their TAB Inserts. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to get in touch with anyone who could help me.
When I tried to access the help section on their website, I was directed to a page with numerous categories and sub-categories. After clicking through 11 pages, I still hadn't found the information I was looking for. As someone with a busy schedule, I simply don't have the time to spend hours searching for answers.
Avery does offer a phone number and live chat option for customer support, but both of these solutions presented challenges for me. Working in a busy police department, I can't make phone calls without disturbing my colleagues. And when I tried to use the live chat feature, I was prompted to download software that my company's IT policies prohibit.
All of these issues could have been avoided if Avery simply provided an email address for customers to contact them. This would have allowed me to quickly and easily communicate my concerns without disrupting my work or violating company policies.
Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience with Avery. While their products may be of high quality, their customer support leaves something to be desired. I hope that they will take feedback like mine into consideration and make changes to improve their service in the future.
Review: Avery's New Label-Making Process Falls Short of Expectations
Avery has recently made some changes to their label-making process, and unfortunately, it's not for the better. They've introduced a new online tool called "Avery design & print", which is supposed to make label-making easier and more efficient. However, in reality, it's a step back from their previous system.
One of the biggest issues with the new tool is that there are more steps involved in the label-making process. Additionally, there's not as much customization available, which can be frustrating for those who need specific label designs. Another problem is that you have to upload your data to the tool in order to use mail merge, which can be time-consuming and inconvenient.
To make matters worse, Avery has retired their Google Docs mail merge add-on, which many people found useful. They've replaced it with an add-on for Excel, but again, you have to upload your data to the Avery tool in order to use it. This can be a major time-waster, especially if you're trying to create a large number of labels.
Overall, the new Avery design & print tool is a disappointment. It's not as flexible or customizable as their previous system, and it can be frustrating to use. Additionally, Avery has retired their Avery Wizard for Word, which was a useful tool for adding label templates to Word documents.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a label-making tool, you may want to consider other options besides Avery. Their recent changes have made the process more difficult and less user-friendly. Hopefully, they'll take customer feedback into account and make improvements in the future.
Avery WePrint: The Real Deal for Small Business Labels
I been using Avery WePrint labels for my small biz for the last 3 years and let me tell you, they're the real deal. Their WePrint design software is so easy to use, even for someone like me who's not too tech-savvy. And the best part? You can order in small quantities, which is a game-changer for us small biz owners. I mean, have you ever tried going to a local print shop and asking for just a few labels? It's embarrassing, trust me. But with Avery, you can order as many or as few labels as you need.
And let's talk about the variety of label sizes. I did my research and compared all the online label companies, and only Avery had the sizes I needed. They have everything from small round labels to large shipping labels, and everything in between. Plus, they ship quickly. When I'm in a crunch and need labels ASAP, I pay a little extra and they arrive in just a few days.
But here's the thing that really sets Avery apart from the rest: their customer service. When I was just starting out, I was nervous about ordering labels online. I didn't know what I was doing and I was afraid I'd mess something up. But the Avery reps were so helpful and patient with me. They walked me through the whole process and made sure I was happy with my order. And now that my biz has grown, I still stick with Avery because of their outstanding customer service and beautiful labels.
I've worked with a few different reps over the years, and they've all been great. They really go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied with your order. And let me tell you, their labels are top-notch. They're high-quality and look so professional. I've had customers comment on how nice my labels look, and I always tell them it's because of Avery.
So whether you're a small biz owner like me or you need labels for a larger order, I highly recommend Avery WePrint services. They're the best in the biz, and I don't say that lightly. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Review: Avery Label System for Mac Users - Frustrating and Inconvenient
Avery is a company that has created a label formatting system for Windows computers only, which can be frustrating for Mac users. Unfortunately, Avery has not created a simple system for Mac users, which means that if you use a Mac, you will have to download Adobe Reader and use that to print your labels. This can be a bit of a hassle, as you will need to watch a long and boring Avery video and remember all the 59 steps you will need to follow in order to print your labels. It can be a waste of time, and it's not the most user-friendly option out there.
However, there are better options available. For example, you can buy cheap generic label material made as one entire A4 (8-1/2 x 11) sheet. You can then set up your labels in Pages on the Mac, print them onto your label sheet, and cut them out with scissors or a paper cutter. You can also use a dedicated label printer, which is a great option, or just print them on paper and use glue to stick them in place. After all, no one really cares how your envelope looks. They are going to rip that open and toss it in the trash anyway.
Another option is to avoid labels altogether by using Pages and one of its standard templates to print directly on your envelopes, if your printer can do that. This can be a great option if you want to save time and avoid the hassle of dealing with labels.
If you have already bought Avery's labels, you don't need Acrobat Reader. You can set up your own template in Pages and use that to print your labels. However, be warned that making templates in Pages can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you need to carefully measure the Avery label sheet to get everything aligned. You may find yourself cursing Avery for not making this simpler for Mac users. They could have made this very simple and easy, but they didn't.
Overall, Avery is not the most user-friendly option out there for Mac users. However, there are other options available that can be just as effective, if not more so. It's up to you to decide which option works best for you and your needs.
Avery DesignPro & Avery Wizard Review: Once Great, Now Disappointing
Avery, a company that was once owned and maintained by Avery Dennison - Office Products, used to have a great product that allowed you to print your own personal labels at home or work. They had a tool called DesignPro & Avery Wizard that was amazing and actually worked! However, Avery is not the same company it used to be. In 2013, they sold their Office Products to CCL Industries, and if you look at the back of the current label packages, you will see Avery Products Corporation as the name.
It seems that Avery is now more interested in making huge profits over having quality products and services. They want you to pay Avery Products to print your labels instead of you owning and maintaining your labels and label formatted files. This is a shame because Avery Dennison used to maintain their software with template updates for new labels. If something was missing, you could call them and get the new specs to create a new label model yourself.
If you are lucky enough to still have the Avery DesignPro v5.5 software, keep it. You can still use it under Windows 10,7, Vista, XP, 2000 or ME. If you use a 64bit system, you need to modify the shortcut to make it work. Under the Properties of DesignPro 5 icon, go to the Compatibility tab and make the following changes. Click the Box at the bottom called Change settings for all users (if you see this) and under Compatibility Mode click the Box and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) option. At the bottom, make sure you click on Run the program as an administrator. Click Apply, then OK.
Avery (CCL) has gone downhill since they put expiring dates on packages and stopped keeping their 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed promise. They no longer provide label specs, and they want users to use their online Design and Print service. However, some users prefer to keep their personal labels on their own system, and Avery (CCL) no longer offers that option.
If you still have the installer for DesignPro, do yourself a favor and keep using it or install it. Stay away from sites online trying to offer you this installer, as many of them are now infected. DesignPro had a few quirks, especially with labels and specific printers. If you tend to use several different printers, create a sub-folder for the printer model of the label you want to save. That way, you are not adjusting the offsets again or thinking something is wrong with the printer.
It is a shame that Avery (CCL) has made such an obvious attempt to get users to use their printing services. Their offline Design & Print desktop would not print correctly, and their newer Design & Print is an epic fail. I hope another company makes something similar to DesignPro that users are able to save their own works on whatever system they want and not keep something on Avery (CCL) website.
Avery Complaints 12
Avery's Software Frustrates: No Table of Contents Template Available for Download
I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off about Avery's software. I spent a whole dang night trying to figure out how to print a table of contents for my binder, and let me tell you, it was not a fun time. I had to do all sorts of trial and error just to make my own template, and I was up until the wee hours of the morning trying to get it right. And even then, it wasn't perfect.
So I decided to reach out to Avery and see if they could help me out. And you know what they did? They offered to email me a template. Like, seriously? Why couldn't they just make the darn thing available for download on their website? It would have saved me and who knows how many others a whole lot of frustration.
Honestly, I'm pretty peeved about the whole thing. I don't think I'll be buying anything from Avery again anytime soon. It's just not worth the hassle.
Avery Business Cards: A Real Struggle and Not Worth the Hassle
I gotta say, I've given Avery a fair shake. I've tried every which way to get their business card products to work for me. I've tried every printer I could get my hands on, and I've tried every product number they've got. But let me tell you, it's been a real struggle.
Their design program is a real pain in the neck. It's limited, and it'll take you hours just to get something that looks halfway decent. And don't even get me started on the cost. You're looking at $20 or more just for a pack of paper. And that's not even counting the ink you'll need to print on it.
But I'm a stubborn guy, and I kept at it. I just wanted to get at least one sheet to print correctly. But it's been a disaster. I've spent hundreds of dollars on paper and ink, and I've even busted a couple of good printers because of the program.
Honestly, at this point, I'd recommend just going to a local printer to get your cards done. It's just not worth the hassle. I guess my problem is that I forget the definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I printed cards with Avery five years ago, and the design program hasn't gotten any better since then. They've just got bigger displays at Office Depot and Max.
So, if you're thinking about using Avery for your business cards, I'd say think twice. It's just not worth the headache.
Review of Avery Easy Peel Shipping Labels: Clear but not Transparent, Alignment Issue
I recently purchased the Avery #*** easy peel shipping labels, 2x4 CLEAR from avery.com. When I opened the package, I was disappointed to find that the labels were not completely clear. Instead, they were glazed to make them see-through. I was hoping for a label that would be completely transparent, like looking through a pair of glasses. I will be returning these labels to get a new set or a refund, whichever is more suitable.
One thing to note is that the process of creating a label using Avery's online label maker is not too difficult. However, when it comes time to print the labels, there is a slight issue with alignment. The labels are printed to the right by about 7/8", so you need to adjust the label to the left by the same amount. It's important to check the alignment by printing a black and white draft copy before printing the final version. Additionally, it's best to avoid using the printer's own functions to adjust alignment, as this can cause further issues.
Despite these minor issues, I still think Avery is a great brand for labels. They offer a wide variety of options and their online label maker is easy to use. I just wish the clear labels were completely transparent and that the alignment issue was more clearly communicated. Overall, I would recommend Avery to anyone in need of high-quality labels.

Avery 5 Tab Print & Apply Clear Label Dividers: A Complete Mess
So, I recently got my hands on the 5 Tab Print & Apply Clear Label Dividers set from Avery. I was pretty excited to try them out since you can design your own labels online and print them out to stick directly on the divider. I mean, it sounded pretty cool, right? And even though they were a bit pricey, I figured it would be worth it if I could make them look nice.
But boy, was I wrong. The application is a complete mess. It's buggy, the buttons don't work properly, and when I finally managed to print them out, they looked nothing like what I had designed. The centering was all off, and it just looked like a hot mess. It's funny because the whole point of the app is to make it easy to create nice-looking labels, but it completely failed at that.
Honestly, I feel like I wasted my money on this overpriced piece of trash. It's such a shame because I had high hopes for it, but it turned out to be a complete joke.
Avery's Label Printing Process is a Frustrating Waste of Time and Money
I've been using Avery's website to create labels for my business for the past 8 hours and it's been a real struggle. Even though I consider myself tech-savvy, I've had to call customer service multiple times for assistance. Unfortunately, every time I create labels on their website and download the PDFs, they never print properly onto my label sheets. It's always off, and then I'm forced to hand-cut labels. It's frustrating because if you have the ability to create online and download, it should work seamlessly.
I don't understand why this company can't get it together. I've wasted hundreds of labels and it's been a huge disappointment. Now I'm stuck with over $100 worth of blank labels that I can't use. If I want to use them, I have to hand-cut all of them. It's a real pain, and it's not worth the time or effort.
To make matters worse, as I get to the bottom of my sheet of labels, they are all cut off. It's like their templates don't line up with their paper labels. It's frustrating because I rely on these labels for my business, and I need them to be accurate and precise.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with Avery's website and their label printing process. It's been a huge waste of time and money, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're looking for a reliable label printing service, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with Avery's Design & Print: Unusable Program and Wasted Labels
Avery's Design & Print has been a disappointment lately. Every time they update it, it seems to get worse. It's now become completely unusable. The print doesn't line up properly with the labels, and it's frustrating. If it was just a consistent issue, I could make an adjustment, but the print progressively moves to the left and down. At first, I thought it was my printer, so I borrowed my daughter's printer, but the same problem occurred. I even tried both printers on a different computer, but the issue persisted.
It's a shame that Avery has let their program deteriorate like this. They used to have a program that you could download straight to your own computer, and it was fantastic. It was a five-star program that worked flawlessly. This current version, however, is only good for wasting expensive labels. It's almost as if Avery wants us to buy more labels, which is a bit insidious if you ask me.
I'm considering switching to Office Depot brand labels instead. It's frustrating to have to deal with a program that doesn't work correctly, especially when you're trying to get things done quickly. Hopefully, Avery will take note of these issues and make some improvements. Until then, I'll be looking for alternatives.
Avery Labels: A Disappointing Waste of Money
I gotta say, Avery has been a real disappointment. I've bought a bunch of their labels for different things and they've all let me down. I mean, I've wasted so much money on these things, it's ridiculous.
I've tried printing on them multiple times and not once has it come out right. The online template they provide isn't even accurate to the size of the actual label. It's like they don't even care about their customers. My wedding invitations were ruined because of this.
I've tried five different types of labels and changed all the settings on my printer, but nothing seems to work. The address labels are the worst. The font is too small and it's all skewed, even though it's supposed to be "in the safety area". I tried enlarging the font for the second sheet, but half of the first label ended up printing on the second label. I turned the sheet around and it was the same issue all over again. I even bought small return address labels and had the same problem.
And don't even get me started on the business labels. They won't even line up properly. It's like they don't even care about quality control.
I've wasted so much money on these labels and I can't even return them to the store because they've been opened. It's like they don't even stand behind their own product. I wouldn't recommend Avery to anyone. Save your money and go with a different brand.
Poor Customer Service and Deletion of Negative Reviews by Avery
I've been having some issues with Avery since the very beginning. The representative I spoke with didn't seem to know all the options available for labels, and kept suggesting products that I couldn't use because they were reserved for printing. I was still asking her questions when she ended the chat on me, which was really frustrating.
I ordered some economy labels and was told they would arrive in five business days. However, it took 10 or 11 days for them to arrive, which was a bit longer than I had expected.
After having such a bad experience, I wanted to return the products to Avery. However, they deleted my review from their website because it wasn't favorable to their reputation. They also wanted to know if I was going to order from them again, because apparently that influences whether or not you can return something.
I was really disappointed with this, especially since they advertise a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their site. I would have given them negative stars if that was possible, because I was so mad with this company and its representatives.
Overall, I think Avery needs to work on their customer service and make sure their representatives are better trained. They also need to honor their satisfaction guarantee and not delete negative reviews from their website. I'm not sure if I'll order from them again in the future, but I hope they can improve their service and reputation.
Avery Labels: Reliable Until They're Not - A Disappointing Customer Experience
I gotta say, I've been using Avery labels for a hot minute now. Started using them back when I was working at an office, and then brought that love back home to my Windows PC. Let me tell you, I got hundreds of address labels set up on my current Win 10 PC. I'm talking family and business labels, holiday card labels, and even file labels. Been adding to and updating those bad boys since at least 2014. And they've been working just fine on my current PC, until today that is.
I go to print out some labels and what do I find? All the data has been completely separated from the matrix or table on all my files. I mean, what the heck Avery? So, I head on over to their website, thinking maybe they got some answers for me. But nope, nada. No help to be found. So, I do what any frustrated customer would do and give them a call.
And what do they tell me? "We don't make or update that old program anymore, and if it's stopped working for you, that's just too bad." Can you believe that? I mean, I used to trust Avery. Their labels have been nothing but reliable for me up until now. But if this is how they treat their customers, then I'm out.
I'll find a new way of doing my labels now, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be avoiding Avery and its products in the future. It's a shame really, but I ain't got time for companies that don't care about their customers.
Avery, Bring Back Design Pro 5.5: A Review of the Disappointing Design and Print Software and Online-Only Label Creation
Avery, I gotta say, you used to have a real winner with your Design Pro 5.5 software and labels. They worked like a charm, no doubt about it.
But then you went and discontinued Design Pro 5.5 and replaced it with Design and Print. And let me tell you, that software has had more issues than a car with a flat tire. Why didn't you just hire the same programmers who worked on Design Pro 5.5 back in the day and come up with an improved version?
And now, to make matters worse, you're retiring the Design and Print offline (standalone) version, leaving only the online version available. I don't know about you, but I'm not about to use an online-only product for creating and printing labels. No way, no how.
What you need to do, Avery, is bring back Design Pro 5.5, but with a redesign using the original tools from Leadtools, Envel, and XLS. That older software is vastly superior to what you're offering now, and it's a real shame that you've let it go by the wayside.
And what about all the users who still have older hardware that they use to print labels? Are they just out of luck? That's crazy talk.
So come on, Avery, get your act together and fix your ways. Bring back Design Pro 5.5 and make it better than ever before. Your customers will thank you for it.
I ordered 2 bean bag with matching blankets and received one blankets that was so small that it looks like it was for my granddaughter baby doll and I never received my bags at all but they said delivered. I have contacted them several times no response. Avery decor has ripped us off.
Dark fabric transfer
More of a comment than complaint. I purchased a 4 pack of transfers ruined the first shirt.. My issue is with the instructions.. It says read all instructions before starting which I did. No where in the instructions does it say to peel off the back paper. I thought it was like a tattoo (wet and peel no I did not do that) but tried to iron it on with the paper on. That did not work transfer would not adhere but one strip did ruining the new shirt.
Desired outcome: Complete instructions should not have had to go to website
it's awful
Am I the only one having troubles like this?
I can't download absolutely anything I paid for. The templates I have on the website are impossible to open. Nothing works.
Tried to contact customer service, but they don't answer. I don't understand what I am to do next because everything is out of order.
I think they urgently have to close their website and fix ix fix until everything is done.
