Ball Homes Shower pan set too high, tile and grout crack

I purchase my house in 2022, next day after closing I noticed grout start to crack, then floor tile start to crack and Ball Homes told me to put it on a 6 month list, gladly no one got hurt for 6 month. at 6 month they re-doit all floor tiles for me, now I have no issues with floor tiles (I hope will not have in the future).

then after 6 month I notice same procedure on the shower walls, contacted ball homes and they said we will take care on one year punch list. Shower pan was moving up and down about 3\4 of the inch, cracking grout and one tile broke... so I did put on one year repair/punch list

They come, inspect the issue and said this was installed wrong, but we can't remove the pan and fix it, this will not leak and put something under the pan and new silicon on top of it, and the guy took picture of broken tile and grout said I will give to John King and he will send someone to fix it. John King refused to send a guy to fix grout and refused to fix cracked tile, he suggest "I would also add that it is entirely possible to crack more tiles if you attempt to kick or hit spots around the wall of the shower to try and show they have movement. There is indeed a small amount of movement to be expected as the tiles are installed on the drywall with a waterproofing membrane behind them. This is the normal industry standard method and once again is not considered a warrantied deficiency" — from Ball Homes Rep,

Well 3 weeks later pan moving up and down again, silicon falling apart again and you can see mold inside, if you knock on tiles, you can hear they hollow inside, cracking more grout.

Desired outcome: send Rogers Flooring to fix tile and Grout issue. it is hollow inside. not how it should be done fix shower pan that is not stable and caulk with new silicon

Ball Homes Had 12 month repair done

Had 12 month repair done. Messed up a couple issues even further. Spouse called to request a repair for the messed up item but no one returns the call We had our 12 month repairs in Jan. Out of the issues we had there were 2 issues that were messed up even further. We had our master bathroom door not closing properly and left a gap. So the guy who performed the repairs took out the hinge so the door closed but the hinge is out and makes a loud noise when closing and messing up the attachment. Secondly our complaint was that our floor presses downward and creates when we walk on it at a few places in the hallway and kitchen but the guy who apparently repaired (which was not repaired) hit the floors with hammers at multiple place which made big gaps in the floor connections and the floor creeks even more and presses down. And at more places. When we called and left a message about what happened no one wants to call back. Bad service and no follow up. At least fix the stuff that requires fixing and which was under our 12 month warranty. Making the problem worse and not returning calls and thinking the warranty call is completed is not right. I recommended ball homes in the beginning to my friends of which 2 families already got ball homes. Do the right thing. Please call and send someone to repair the issues.

Ball Homes SEWER BACKUP FLOODING MY HOUSE WE PURCHASED OUR HOUSE IN 2013

SEWER BACKUP FLOODING MY HOUSE WE PURCHASED OUR HOUSE IN 2013. ON TUESDAY MAY THE 12TH OUR DOWNSTAIRS FLOODED DUE TO THE SEWER LINE BACKING UP INTO THE HOUSE. WE CALLED LEX ROOTER TO COME BY AND SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY FOUND A STAKE DRIVEN INTO THE CLEANOUT BESIDE MY SIDEWALK FROM WHERE IT WAS FRAMED TO POUR CONCRETE. IT WAS ONLY ABOUT 2 INCHES INTO THE PIPE, BUT OVER TIME IT ALLOWED ROOTS TO GROW INSIDE OUR CLEANOUT CLOGGING THE DRAIN. WE HAVE DAMAGE FROM THE SEWAGE IN THE FOYER, BATHROOM, CLOSET AND LIVING ROOM. WE HAD TO HAVE ALL THE HARDWOOD AND PADDING REMOVED AND EVERYTHING CLEANED OUT JUST TO GET THE SMELL AND TOXIC FUMES UNDER CONTROL. WE CALLED BALL HOMES AND THEY REFUSED TO HELP WITH THE MATTER SAYING WE WERE OUT OF WARRANTY. I TOLD THEM THIS WAS A NEGLIGENCE ISSUE FROM CAUSED BY THEIR CONTRACTORS. THEY THEN HAD A MANAGER CALL THAT STATED TO ME THAT WE WERE JUST TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF THEM AND THEY WOULD NOT BE DOING ANYTHING TO HELP WITH THE FLOODING IN MY HOUSE. NO ONE WOULD EVEN COME TO LOOK INSIDE THE HOUSE. THEY WERE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. WE HAVE THE VIDEO FROM LEX ROOTER AND THE STAKE THAT WAS DUG UP AND PULLED FROM THE HOLE. WE ALSO HAVE DOCUMENTATION FROM THEM STATING THAT IT WAS A CONCRETE FORM STAKE THAT WAS REMOVED. WE ALSO HAVE PICTURES OF THE HOLE IN THE PIPE AND THE ROOTS THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED. OUR HOUSE STILL HAS A HORRIBLE SMELL AND IS NOT SAFE TO LIVE IN UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED. WE *** NOT IN ANYWAY FEEL LIKE THIS SHOULD BE PAID BY US SINCE THEY CAUSED THE ISSUE. WE NEED OUR FLOORING REPLACED AND THE PIPE REPAIRED. WE ARE AT A TIME WHERE WE CAN'T GO ANYWHERE DUE TO COVID 19 AND CAN'T AFFORD A REPAIR LIKE THIS AT THIS TIME SINCE OUR BUSINESS HAS SLOWED DOWN. I HAVE YET TO HEAR BACK FROM OTHER THAN A RUDE MAINTENANCE MANAGER AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. WE ARE SENDING THIS INFORMATION TO ALL MEDIA OUTLETS ALONG WITH THE VIDEO AND REPORT FROM LEX ROOTER IF WE DO NOT GET THIS RESOLVED ASAP. *** HAS A HISTORY OF TURNING THEIR BACK ON CUSTOMERS ONCE THEIR HOUSE IS FINISHED. WE ARE IN A HORRIBLE POSITION SINCE WE CAN'T LEAVE OUR HOUSE AND THEY DO NOT CARE. THE LACK OF RESPECT FROM THEIR EMPLOYEES IS UNBELIEVABLE AND EVEN WORSE THAT THEY ARE TREATING US THIS WAY DURING A TIME OF CRISIS. THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY AND THIS NEEDS TO GET OUT TO EVERY PERSON THINKING OF BUYING A *** HOME SO THEY KNOW WHAT THEY CAN EXPECT FROM THIS COMPANY. I WILL NOT LET THIS GO UNTIL EVERY MEDIA OUTLET IS CONTACTED WITH THE STORY.

Ball Homes Poor construction and repair issues We closed on our newly constructed home on 9/4, and prior to closing we did a walk through and noted

Poor construction and repair issues We closed on our newly constructed home on 9/4, and prior to closing we did a walk through and noted many issues. Some issues were fixed the following morning and some were partially fixed. However, many were not fixed. To this day we have sanded walls with no paint, stickers on our walls and bathroom tile (noting repair work needed), standing water in our garage and yard and many other issues. Our neighbors gutters are vented to our yard and ALL of their runoff is funneled into our yard. Ball Homes did not do anything to prevent this or provide a way for the water to escape. The water collects and creates a huge muddy trench all along our fence line. It's rutted out our entire side yard to the point that it's dangerous for us to walk on the side of our home. Our fence painters SUNK into our yard and said our yard was like quick sand and our fence is visibly rotting. We have STANDING water in our garage floor that now appears to have turned into mold in various places. Our metal freezer and file cabinet are rusted and need to be repaired or replaced. They (Dave) comes and states they've never seen anything like it and leaves and never comes back. They did dig up our foundation drain (on one side) to see if it was stopped up. It wasn't, but they tore our sod up and did not repair it. The foundation drain on the other side (flooded side) was not touched AND it's cut short and dumps into the middle of our back yard! We paid an additional lot premium of 4K because our property was flat, but once the home was constructed they graded off part of our FLAT back yard and created a slop out of several foot of our yard. One would think they would have placed drains to run off of this slope, but NO! The neighbors and our water is ALL pooling in our yard with no means of escape. We've suggested French drains, but Ball Homes does nothing! Our front gutters also empty dead into the middle of our front yard. This entire neighborhood is an eyesore with standing water and mud all along the roads and at the common mailbox area. They have created little to no means of escape for the water and mud. ALL of our vehicles, driveways, roads and garages stay muddy. We had a large hole in the brick in the front of our home. They came to repair it and bent our soffit and failed to clean the mortar off. It's now created a horrible eyesore on our home. Again, nothing is done! There's so many issues with plumbing, windows, paint, trim, ceiling, flooring and more. They just don't care!

Ball Homes Electrical problems in kitchen and laundry room

Electrical problems in kitchen and laundry room. Dry Wall is beginning too look terrible, wrong hot water tank on contract and Standing water in yard. First off Ball Homes is a terrible sloppy job home builder if I knew then what I know now I would have chosen another builder. The dry wall is terrible, the paint on the walls is a joke it's terrible, a lot of errors are not fixed right when reported. They trick and push there home buyers into signing the contract as soon as possible with you innocently not knowing something is wrong.I say this because the wrong size hot water tank was put on our contract by our realtor and we didn't know any different to say hey we need a bigger tank for our 3 bathrooms and we was not asked. We figured this out after we closed and moved in and started having problems so then I started digging information up on why this and that is happening. I have brought this to Ball Homes attention but they wont do anything about it because we signed a contract and I also told them we were tricked and we didn't know any different to question our hot water tank. Our realtor should have been more knowledgeable and brought that to our attention instead of throwing it on our contract. 2nd of all we are having electrical issues in our kitchen and laundry room. At first they had or microwave and stove on the same breaker and they were tripping like crazy. So they were willing to run a separate breaker for each one and they did but we are still having problems with the microwave tripping the breaker and they wont do anything else about the microwave. I have already had a new microwave installed so it's not the microwave causing this problem. I have also had samsung at my house to thoroughly check to see what's wrong and it all leads back to the electrician. So at this point with the microwave still tripping the breaker Ball Homes is not willing to fix this problem. Also my stove is still tripping the breaker even with it on a separate breaker, it will not work without blowing a fuse, in the appropriate outlet every time I use it. And again I have had my stove thoroughly checked by samsung and it leads back to the electrician. I have to plug my brand new stove into the counter outlet to get it to work and it works 100% fine there but this is not right and my stove should not have to be plugged in a counter outlet to work. 3rd of all my laundry room keeps tripping the breaker and Ball Homes already told me they will not do anything about it, which is rediculous. Also I had samsung out to throughly check my brand new washer to see why this is happening and again it all leads back to the electrician. The wiring is not done right on these new Ball Home houses and they are putting everything on the same breakers and they are tripping the breakers. Also our house is not the only one with this problem, it's our whole subdivision. It's been problem after problem and it's either not getting fixed at all or not getting fixed within an appropriate time frame. Our neighbor had to have there cabinets removed twice for electrical problems in kitchen and laundry room because there breakers are tripping and it's still not fixed. I'm flabbergasted. I have had enough we have had nothing but problems and things keep happening. 4th of all our backyard has a lot of standing water. We asked at closing if that would be fixed and they said yes we shouldn't have any standing water. So now that we are closed and have sod we still have a lot of standing water. I have brought this to there attention and the answer that I get is they don't know when they will get it fixed because they are trying to get everyone's sod laid first and not only that there is a list already with people ahead of us from last fall we have to be added to, this is rediculous. They should be hiring more contractors or doing something different to get this done in a timely manner. We have to avoid our backyard because of this standing water and not only that it's killing the grass. This is crazy we are in a 323,00 dollar home and this is what we get. Also this has nothing to do with the Corona this is all Ball Homes.
