i tried bandwidthplace and it gave me the wrong results. i compared it to other apps and sites and it was the worst one. i suggest you find a different site because this one is not accurate.

So, I was checking out BandwidthPlace to see how fast my internet was running. But when I got the results, I was like, "What the heck?" The speed they said I had was way slower than what I was expecting. I mean, I know my internet isn't the fastest, but come on!

Then I started looking around online and found out that other people were having the same problem. They were saying that BandwidthPlace was reporting slower speeds than other sites. I even found a forum on ispgeeks.com where people were talking about it.

I don't know what's going on with BandwidthPlace, but it seems like they're not giving accurate results. Maybe they're just trying to make themselves look better than they really are. Or maybe they're just not very good at measuring internet speed.

Either way, I wouldn't trust BandwidthPlace to give me an accurate reading of my internet speed. If you want to know how fast your internet is, I'd recommend trying a different site. There are plenty of them out there that are more reliable.

I recently tried out BandwidthPlace and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the results. I have a business connection with 3, which is a 5G line with 6 antennas on the outside of my property carrying around 2.6gbit of data with an average of 1.2 GBit throughput at all times. My wireless connection is faster than my wireless hardware, which I will eventually upgrade, but we still get at least 500 MB out of it. However, according to BandwidthPlace, I get like sod all.

I tested my connection over and over again and was gobsmacked to find that my connection was sometimes just 0.34 Mbit. I wondered if it had been raining or if there was something wrong with my connection, but it wasn't me - it's just a rubbish site. This sort of stuff really upsets me because your average Joe Bloggs consumer isn't going to understand and may go to their provider and complain based on the incorrect number given by the site.

BandwidthPlace isn't giving correct results. I will upload a video of my connection using the site and also use the fast app by Netflix. I will also upload a couple of screenshots for those who don't want to watch videos. While it is true that I am downloading flight simulator in the background, I know I've got plenty of bandwidth available and I'm acting out the ubiquity unify Solutions that I have here.

BandwidthPlace is an absolute joke. It clearly doesn't give correct results and must fit any old thing out because I've never seen my connection that bad, not even when it's raining. I don't normally write reviews like this, but I was so pissed off with this site that I just couldn't help myself. So please don't bother taking what it says as gospel. The site really either can't cope with the number of people using it (which probably isn't very many) or it's just making up things as it goes along because it has no idea what my connection speed is or what it should be. But it certainly isn't giving me the correct results.
