My complaint is with the total unacceptable way I and my pet Bella were treated when I called Banfield on November 6, 2024 at 8222 S. University Blvd, Littleton, CO. Bella was dying of kidney failure, she was in pain, and could not walk.
I had been waiting since early morning for Banfield to open so I could call and get her in, then I was told that only one vet was working, and that I could leave her at the back door and come back later. I tried to explain that this is my companion! I could not just leave her at a back door to die. I had to be with her at her time of passing. I tried several times to get her in at no avail. I finally gave up and took her to a 24 hr clinic, which was an elevated cost for the procedure. Here we paid for services all these years, 12 years with Bella, only to find out that she is at the end of life, she was not honored by the ones we and her put trust in to be there. There is no way I can tell you how to run your business, but there is no compensation for the way we were treated on that day. The almighty dollar wins whenever it comes to ethics.
