Banner Health review: Service

This hospital is THE WORST! This is the second time I have walked out of the hospital. The first time my son was sick they told me let it run its course after being there for 4 hrs they did absolutely nothing told me to have him drink water and rest. Then made us wait for over an hr to bring us discharge papers saying that they did nothing for him. This morning I get to banner at 430 am. We did not get check in until 620. Come 7 they finally get us into a room. But around 815 my son starts screaming in pain. We hit the nurse button

I ask them to help him. This extremely rude nurse who we dealt with last time, tells my 8year old who is in pain to be patient and wait for the Dr. Over an hour of being in the room Noone even came to check on him. One of their own employees referred us to another hospital and said they were so sorry about our experience and that she herself refuses to use banner even though she is an employee! You would think when you bring a child in that they would rush to find the problem. Especially when they are SCREAMING for 2 hrs straight in pain! Took him to a different hospital to find out he's having intestinal issues.. got him back and Dr came in within 30mins of us being here! Some of the staff treat patients like they are annoyed or fed up. Not the type of people you want your life in their hands. They seem more annoyed and fed up with kids crying sick and in pain then they seem like they want to help. So as an adult I can come in and be in pain and they will give me pain meds before a Dr even comes in to see me. But an 8year old boy screaming at the top of his lungs in pain for 2 straight hours and they don't even make an effort to come in the room to check on him! They take their time while your life is literally at risk. They said shift change. So shift change takes over an hour while you have patients laying there not being tended to at all. Seriously to work with children they way they do is DISGUSTING! I really pray they hire some staff that actually is there to help people and not just there for a check! Half those people could care less if you died. As long as they didn't have to do the paperwork..
