billing
I guess this is something that they do quite often considering the fact that all these comments are the same situation, including mine. Do NOT fall into this trap as well. I wouldn definitely reccomend going with another site.
You pay $2 and when you do cancel or it appears that you have done so, you are then charged $30. Their "customer service" contact is not helpful and will not give you a refund. DON'T DO IT
credit card charges
2 days ago I had paid for the £2, 48-hour period and cancelled it yesterday as I was finished with my period however today, sat 14 oct I checked my bank account and £29.95 had been taken out. I have now successfully cancelled the membership. However I would desire a refund of the £29.95 as I was under the influence that I had already cancelled my subscription.
HI, I want to cancel my membership as well, Could you teach me how do I cancel it ?
I want to cancel as well but why there is no any button for it? What happen with this website and no one from the customer service page answer via email!
48 hour trial
I made the BIG mistake of giving Bartleby.com my Credit Card information. I purchased the 48 trial for $2 dollars with there $29.95 monthly charge per month if you don't cancel within the 48 hour trial period. I attempted 3 times to cancel within the 48 period but there contact page would come up a blank white page Everytime I clicked on it. That leads to no way to contact them. Sure enough, on the third day there contact page worked fine. I emailed them explaining what happened & there response was the same as all other complaints I've read. "As per our terms we can not issue a refund." There is never a name or anyone else to contact. Just generic responses. I've emailed them back four times explaining what happened. They don't even offer to look into an IT issue that may have caused a blank white page to appear when clicking on Contact page. To top it all off there Essays Suck! Bad Customer Service & even worse Business Ethics. Stay away from Bartleby.com unless you like giving money away
This is so true they've robbed me of £30 and don't even answer their emails. Disappointing.
billing issues
I had the exact same thing happen to me as the previous complaint on here.
I used a 2 day trial service and cancelled afterwards, yet my account was charged for the monthly plan and 2 day trial even though I only used the service within the 48 hour period. Even going into my account, it showed I didn't have access to their website yet I was still getting charged.
Be careful.
incorrect charges
Good day,
I used a 2 day trial service and cancelled afterwards, yet my account was charged for the monthly plan and 2 day trial even though I only used the service within the 48 hour period.
I reported to the support team and I have been told non challantly that my money cannot be refunded.
I have sent several emails to the team asking for the case to be escalated, and I have been told that they do not escalate issues.
I am being billed constantly

I just now bought a plan and money was charged twice but I am still unable to Sir the plan
I did the free trial for this website and thought I cancelled but it still took money out of my account for a member ship. I would like a refund and if you can contact me my email is ktmonet79@gmail.com
hello, I have been trying to cancel my membership, I sent several emails with no response could you teach me how do I cancel it ?
I utilized their service, most answers were wrong in study materials, I tried to cancel and can't log on or get phone support! I want this subscription canceled and my money back!
on 02/25/2018 night I subscribed on bartleby and I tried to cancel on 02/26/2018 and they offered me $9 but on 02/28/2018 I was charged $29. I will call my bank to cancel transaction
Well looking st the complaints. I guess this is just how they conduct business, unethically. I ask that you all contact Better Business Bureau so it can start a papertrail
I was charged an 29.99 fee when I only used it for one day for 2 dollars and I cancelled my subscription
Paid $2 for the 2-day membership and was charged $29. This is absurd.
