I have been using the online price guide for a few years now, since it is easier and more convenient to look up prices (even though often the prices are no longer accurate - at least it helps with identifying the cards). But now, they suddenly have a limit on the number of searches I can do per month. This is compounded by the fact that they have changed the maximum number of items on a screen to 250 instead of 500, so I have to use more searches to review an entire set. Also, their search engine is awful; if I put in "2022 Topps", it doesn't even show the best matches first - they're alphabetical, and I get Topps Heritage, Topps Chrome, and everything else. I have to click a specific set on the left which then does *another* search, which also counts against my quota. I paid for 18 months of the online price guide, not 18 partial-months (which if I run out of searches 3/4 of the way through each month, means I'm only getting 13-14 months). I first ran into this new limitation last night (23 August). My subscription was auto-renewed for what was supposed to be the same service, but it's not the same service, so I either want the search limit removed, or else the entire $480 refunded.
Claimed loss: $480
Desired outcome: Remove the search limit, or refund the entire amount of my subscription

I have additional information. I found that Beckett changed the terms AFTER I had my subscription renewed. My subscription renewed on July 1, and they changed the terms on July 17. Here's a link to their announcement:

Since they altered the contract, I should get a full refund, or at least should only have to pay for 16 days, since starting July 17, I was operating under altered terms to which I didn't agree.
Beckett Collectibles, it seems like you’ve managed to turn a convenient tool into a frustrating experience. Changing the terms of service mid-subscription, like limiting searches and cutting the maximum items per screen, isn’t just inconvenient — it feels like you’re giving customers less while charging them the same. The clunky search engine only makes it worse, forcing users to waste searches on something that should be simple. If you’re going to auto-renew subscriptions, the service should remain consistent, or at least be upfront about any changes. A $480 subscription should deliver what was promised — either remove the search limits or refund the full amount.
