At one year old, the motherboard and thermostat had to be replaced. Because it was still under warranty, I was able to have the appliance company fix it. But as soon as the warranty was up, the main burner on the stove stopped working. It was a month before the appliance company could get the part. The repair was very expensive because the entire stove had to be taken apart to get to the sealed compartment for the burner. When the stove was apart, I took photos of the inside of the sealed compartment. All of the electrical connections were very badly corroded. The burner which was not working, looked as if it had been melted. It was metal. I am extremely concerned that because of the extreme corrosion inside, that we will soon be facing more expensive repairs. In concern, I emailed Beko to ask what would cause a metal burner to melt and the electrical connections to all of the burners to be severely corroded. Those connections remain corroded. My answer from them was "it appears you live near water". I asked them why my new Beko would be corroded inside a sealed compartment when all of the other kitchen appliances (not Beko) were 25 years old and not in need of repair or corroded if the corrosion is because I live near water. I asked why my gas grill outside my house, with an electric push button start, is not corroded. The grill is 11 years old. I cannot get anyone to answer me, they have not offered to replace the corroded parts, and most of my emails are either ignored or rejected by the mail server.
Desired outcome: I would like Beko to replace the corroded electric connections inside my stove.
