I purchased a full set (4) tires from Belle Tire in Plainwell Mi at the beginning of this year. I purchased the tire extended coverage, that would cover front end alignments and such.
Twice now I’ve had a tire with low pressure and have gone to have them repaired. The first repair, the car was taken to a Westmain location in Kalamazoo. We were informed it would be at least a two hour wait to even have it looked at. We couldn’t get the tire off to put the spare on so asked if they could pull it into a bay and take the bad tire off and put the spare on so we could come back later. We were told they didn’t have an open bay but we could clearly see one that was not being used. After some discussion they pulled my car into the unused bay and put my spare tire on. When I got home later that day I got online to schedule an appointment for the next morning to have my tire put back on. On the web site they do not list tire repair as an option for your appointment so you have to select something you think is close, like tire alignment or inspection. The next morning I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and the service person I spoke with was the same person from the previous day that had taken the tire off. I let him know I was back to have it put on, to which he says it will be a two hour wait. I pointed out that I scheduled an appointment in 15 minutes, so they were able to get me in after a 30 minute wait.
The next time I had a low tire I went directly to the web site to schedule an appointment. When scheduling the appointment I went through selecting once again a non tire repair activity since it wasn’t listed , a date, time, and location for the appointment. I had selected confirm on the date and my husband took it to the Westnedge location in Kalamazoo where I had booked it. He was told my name was no where in the system and that I must of booked at a different location. He can’t get in so returns home with the low tire still. I get back onto the web site to schedule another appointment and realize that there are TWO confirm locations you have to click in order to actually schedule the appointment. For this appointment I had selected a visual inspection because I couldn’t select tire repair. My husband takes my car to the appointment where he is told that the inspection and tire repair are two complete different appointments, so I don’t have an appointment for the repair. My husband waited an hour and they still didn’t bother getting him in.
I will NEVER buy from Belle Tire again! The lack of service is like an insulting slap in the face. I will gladly tell anyone and everyone not to buy from any Belle Tire.
Claimed loss: Hours of time.
Desired outcome: Web site needs changed to clearly offer tire repair. Customer service needs a serious revamping. I will never get my time back and will gladly take my tire to Pomp’s for repair and future purchases.
