I am only giving one star because I have to star it. I had no problems with service at their store in Fosse Park. Once the transaction had been done I was informed to expect delivery on 10/12/2019. I had to take the entire day of work to wait for the delivery and low and behold it was taken to the wrong address. They the. Refused to deliver it at the correct address even though it was only 3mins away from them. I was then informed that the items would be delivered on 23/01/2020. I had placed the order in October 2019. Apart from having to continue sleeping on the floor on an air mattress, it also meant that I would need to take another day off work. I went to the store to speak to someone but no one was interested. The first staff member told me that I needed to speak to the customer service line as it was busy in the store. I insisted on speaking to the manager. The Manager was nice and explained that everything needed to go through their customer services who are not based in store.
I decided to change my mind and accept the delivery and not to pursue a complaint. The items were eventually delivered but the bookshelf I ordered wasn't. Furious about this constant delay I decided that I no longer wanted the bookshelf as it had been such a nightmare already. I called the customer services and I was passed around from pillar to post. I was called a liar whilst the customer agent called Dan, insisted that they had tried to deliver the items on the 10/12/2019. After fighting my way through they agreed to cancel the delivery of the bookshelf but not before they deducted 10% for the inconvenience caused to them for having to cancel the order. I will never and I repeat never recommend Benson's bed to anyone. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe how I feel. I am happy for you to deduct the 10% if it means I can finally be rid of you. Never had such a terrible experience before with any retailer.
