Best Buy review: Apple gift card

I purchased an Apple Gift Card on 7-3-2023 from Best Buy in Federal Way, WA.

The Apple Gift Card had “already been redeemed” before I left Best Buy! This is the 2nd time I have encountered this scamming. Each time I come home to activate the gift card, I find out, that it has already been activated and redeemed by someone else by fraud/or by a scammer.

This time, I called Apple first, to see if they could help me.

Agent "Brionna" told me that she could not help me. That she could not give me a refund because I did not buy the gift card from their store, and that “Best Buy” would have to replace the card or issue a refund to me. Apple: [protected] Billing.

Agent Brionna gave me case #[protected], she verified that it was “fraud usage” and that it had been redeemed by someone else.

And for me to call Best Buy for a replacement card or refund.

I sent an email to Best Buy on 7-3-23, once again reporting another “redeemed gift card by a scammer”.

7-4-23 No reply as of yet, by Best Buy. No reply yet 9-1-23
