BeWild blamed me for something I didn't do

Why do we never learn? So many negative reviews about this store and it's probably not a good enough reason not to order from them. Silly me.
I got a wrong item from them. So, of course, I sent it back and paid for shipping.
I waited for them to answer for several weeks and thought that it was the right time to call them and to ask what happened, why they didn't refund anything. They blamed me for sending them a defective item. What? I tried it once to see if it fits and after I realized it was a wrong size I packed it and went to the post office to send it back, that's all.
Going to get my refund anyway, I won't easily give up.

BeWild mis-represents product

The website is confusing in that there is no way to indicate exactly which style of sandal you are purchasing so I wrote a note in the ordering process indicating I wanted to be sure which style I was ordering and included my phone number. I received no call. The style I received was incorrect so I contacted them by e-mail explaining the problem and included my phone number again. I got no response so I asked Paypal to intervene. Bewild.com responded that they do not refund shipping charges ($7.95). Had they communicated better from the very beginning they would not have shipped the wrong style of sandal, thereby, not having a shipping charge and I would not have had to pay an addition $5.58 to return the wrong item. That is a total of 13.53 for shipping on an item costing 14.99 and the wrong item at that.

Bewild.com cherry picked the comments they wanted to present from my original note to them regarding the item I was attempting to order. Here is the note in its entirety:

Comments I would prefer a size 6 but it doesn’t appear to be offered. I also selected a specific style of sandal but don’t feel confident that my choice was accurately recorded. If I don’t receive the pair I selected I will return the others and request a refund, which will include the cost of shipping. If you have a problem with these terms please contact me at [protected]. Thanks Bonnie

Always pay with Paypal. They can pull the funds for the full cost when you can’t get the company to deal with you fairly.

BeWild ripped me off!!!

Buyer Beware! Horrible Customer Service! Defective Products! Do not order from this company read online complaints and reviews. The merchandise we received from them was defective. Took me weeks to make contact with company. When I did get a hold of them by phone they said to return the item and they would replace it. I had to pay the postage to return the item. Several weeks after returning the item and not receiving a new one. I contacted the company who said they had no record of receiving the merchandise back. They would not let me talk to anyone. We had to email customer service who then said they had seen the item and would send another one if I paid postage a third time. When I did not want to do that and requested a refund they then made up false accusations saying we destroyed the item. They have the merchandise and our money. I was totally ripped off! Reported to BBB and they are lying to them. This is not a good company.
Save yourself the trouble and do not order from this company!

BeWild ripped off

I ordered a $14.99 pair of sandals with shipping they came to $20.69. I wasn't sure whether to return them or ask for a refund. I decided to return them. My credit was for $11.46. By the time I paid for shipping the money I really got back was $2.56. They kept my shipping costs and charged me a 10% restocking fee. I have no sandals and they get to keep $9.23 of my money! Someone please tell me this is fair! If I had know that this would have happened I would have asked for an exchange. At least I would have something to show for the transaction. I am awaiting a call from the manager to try to rectify this problem and to find out if they take care of the customer! At this point I will never buy from them again and will complain on any website I can! B u y b e w a r e!

BeWild no answer on telephone!!!

I placed an order on 5/27/2011...It was the holiday weekend so I waited until Wednesday 6/1/2011 to telephone about my order. The 2 telephone numbers they have listed via my email and the Yellow Pages rings three (3) times then disconnects...It makes me a little nervous when you can't reach a company that you made a purchase with and get no response... :(

I purchased a product from www.goneblue.com in Wantagh, NY originally on Sept 9, 2009 (Order # 7525). One of the items that purchased was a Light up Equalizer T-shirt. The shirt required batteries to function properly and the shirt was worn for approximately 45 minutes before it stopped working. I called the company and returned the product to be replaced. I paid the shipping back to them and when they received the product, they stated that shirt was wrinkled/ruined and that I could not be refunded or exchanged for a replacement. After arguing with Joe(from Goneblue) it came down to me having to purchase another shirt and having to pay for shipping again. I received the replacement shirt (DELIVERED ON SEPT 29) and it worked for approximately for 1 hour before malfunctioning just like the original one I ordered. I emailed the company on Sept 30th to "rushbewild@hotmail.com" and did not receive a response. Two days later I had to call them to check on returning for an exchange because I never received an email reply. I spoke with a ### women who said that she could not do anything. She said "We sell 1000's of these shirts and do not ever have any problems, so I am unable to help you" I said you have a 15 day return policy which I am still within and your product you sold me is not functioning. She said that "the shirt was tested before it went out and it was working" I asked to speak with the person who tested the shirt, she said "they are not allowed to talk on the phone"... I asked to speak with the manager or owner and she hung up on. I called back several times and she hung up on me every time I called back. I paid for a bunch of worthless junk from this company. No items were refunded to me or exchanged. This company has not been honest with me and has lied about their return policy. I know these are not large ticket items that they sell, but business is business whether it be 1 dollar or 1 million dollars. My experience with this company has cost me about $200 in faulty items and shipping charges. I submitted this report to the Better Business Bureau of NY and Goneblue waits until the last minute to send a reply and they reply as if they have no idea who I am or that I ever ordered anything. I responded several times to BBB complaint with the order #, the dates, & the tracking numbers. After going back and fourth, Goneblue's final reply was that "the customer waited to late to contact us to refund or exchange the items". WHICH IS BULLLLLSH** I then supplied phone records to show the dates my calls were made and finally the BBB dropped Goneblue's rating and accepted my complaint. This company is garbage. Don't waste your time nor money with these A$$holes!

BeWild bad service

OK... I ordered some things from bewild and was very clear on what I wanted to order. So clear in fact that I repeatedly asked them to make sure they had the right items, then the same day I got an email back saying that I had ordered something else! I immediately phoned in the same day and asked them to change it. And they reassured me that the changes will be made, then i get a shipping notice with the still THE WRONG ITEM IN THE PACKAGE... I CALL BACK AND THEY ARE NO HELP AND SAY THAT THE ONE I HAD ORDERED IS ON IT'S WAY AND THAT THE INVOICE WON'T SHOW THE CHANGES MADE ON THEIR END... PACKAGE GETS HERE I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $40! JUST TO SIGN FOR IT AND THE WRONG STUFF IS IN THE PACKAGE! I CALL AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT EVEN THOUGH IT'S THEIR MISTAKE AND THEY SAY THAT I HAVE TO PAY MORE JUST TO RETURN THE ITEM! I PHONED THREE TIMES! TO MAKE SURE THEY DIDN'T SEND THE WRONG THING AND THEY STILL SENT THE WRONG ITEM! EVEN THOUGH THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD CHANGED THE ORDER AND EVERYTHING... I'm reporting them to the BBB too! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS! THEY ALMOST DOUBLED THE PRICE AND THEN SENT THE WRONG STUFF TO ME!

Absolutely the worst experience ever buying a simple item.

They messed up the original order.
Then they made me pay to send it back.
Then they lost it in return.

One month later, I still don't have the original item I ordered.

I will never order again from BeWild.com! I ordered a 3/16" curved barbell (price $4.99) from them about a month and a half ago. The item was shipped to Canada to me 2 weeks later, which cost me an extra $12 for shipping. I measured the barbell when it came and I know for a fact that it was longer than what I ordered. So I called them up, a lady told me to return it and that they would give me an exchange and reimburse the shipping. It's now almost a month later, and they never sent me the correct size, nor did they even send me an email to give me a sign of life. So I called them up again today, and the guy tells me that I'm the one who was wrong about the size and that they know what they're doing because they send thousands of these out on a regular basis. They did credit me back the $4.99 it cost me for the barbell, but now I've lost about $15 worth of shipping (the shipping to me and the shipping back to them), which they will not reimburse. Idiots! Very bad customer service...

Well it was from goneblue.com not bewild.com But I called on Wed, and asked the status they said it will be here tomorrow which is now today...so it took 4 days.

My Daughter received a shirt from Be Wild for Christmas. It never worked. Shipped shirt back as per instructions from company. Three weeks later no response. I called them to check on exchange. They had no record of receiving it. I then gave them my tracking number from USPS. They signed for it three weeks ago. A man named Joe said they would not exchange it. He said wires were loose. Bad company service. Buyer beware!

I ordered ten items from this company. Out of the 10, 6 were defective! I was told I would get a full refund if I shipped the defective items back. It cost me $9 to ship the items back and they only credited my $17 dollars back, and I spent $37 in the first place. I AM NEVER USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER!

I totally agree with the comments. I had similar incident where I ordered some slippers and they shipped the wrong sizes and colors. I tried with all my might to have them send me the correct order without any cooperation.

They even want me to do their dirty work of sending them back with my money. They can even get the order right the first time, what makes you think they'll get it the second time,

They did not even ask me and try to find out what the problems were.

Anybody contemplating on buying from them, look at all the complaints.

Agreed. I placed an order two weeks ago, and got something which said I would receive a confirmation; never received. I've emailed multiple times, to have none answered. I have tried calling, to which I get a guy answer and pretend he cannot hear me. Tried on multiple phones, so if its unintentional, then its on their end.

I was recommended by a friend who had a good purchase with them of the same item, at $100; I guess I should have researched some more before I spent the money.

Good chance I will be filing a claim with paypal, which is something I'm very thankful I did.
