do not order from them!
I am more than pissed off with the way Beyond the Rack run things and treat their customers. I ordered a steve madden coat on Nov 28, 2011, emailed them right away to change the address and only to have them take a long time to respond and by the time i provided an address, they said it has already been shipped and that i replied after 5 pm (their closing time) Well, I have proof that I emailed them at least half an hour before 5 pm and what they dont check their emails before they leave for the day? Well i said what ever I will just wait and see. They lost the package and not only did they fail to inform me but i had to call several times just to have them say " we will put in an investigation and it takes 12-15 days" well, after 12 days I called again, this Jennifer girl yelled at me because i never got the name of the customer service guy who did my investigation, she said i was the blame for not receiving my money back. Hm... I have called other companies and they actually never yell at me or say its my fault because they put in a claim when they say they will! So this jennifer said i will get my money back in 48 hrs, well it has come and gone and i have left a very very angry message if i dont get my money back in 24 hours. I will be contacting the better business bureau and file a complaint my self. Better business bureau worked in the past and they are very fair.

I have not received an email from Beyond the Rack or FedEx regarding my order.
I have not received a response to any of the three emails sent to customer service, so their customer service clearly sucks.
I have not received the order at all.
It took 4 weeks for a tracking number to surface, even with that the arrival date has changed 3 times.
It has been "in transit" for 8+ hours now. "In transit" means on it's way to destination, it is not going to show up. I called Fedex, long story short, they don't really have record of it, it may or may not show.
Again, no response from customer service, may have to take it up with my bank...
I ordered two items from "Beyond The Rack''. I received one-in a timely manner, but the expensive item was never acknowledged when inquiries were sent. I do a lot of On line shopping due to the fact that I am disabled. I do throw that term around-as I am not proud to be this way. So many emails have been sent-and the only way to be acknowledged is to post right on Face Book how bad they are. this post is erased right away, and a private mail is sent urging the use of customer service-which apparently does not exist. I am owed over $75.00--guess that is how they are staying in business. Shame on them-and shame on me for researching. Face Book needs to investigate companies before they allow them to advertise on their site. That is how I do business. Beware people--just stay away from Beyond The Rack! The color of the item I did receive is not accurately portrayed either---neon orange instead of a nice mellow orange...guess I'll wear it if I want to really glow at the Doc's. office or church : )

I ordered two items and paid one shipping cost. That to me was sort of an incentive to buy. No way would I consider paying $10.00 shipping for one item! I finally received the first item after SIX WEEKS. Then, after EIGHT WEEKS they claim they cannot get the other. My refund was only for the amount I paid the second item-NOT any portion of the shipping.
When I called Customer Service I was confronted by hostility. The rep thought I was completely unreasonable and she was very sarcastic. She said no one else complains about this issue. Well just look at the complaints page- there are many! I told her NEVER AGAIN will I buy from BTR- she said that was "just fine with her".

I ordered an item 2 months ago and never recieved it. I tried to resolve this issue several times but my complaints were always brushed off. The customer service people were really rude and they dont care at all about your business. Every time I requested a refund they would tell me its not possible because they didnt have the item there...I dont have it either so where does this leave me. I was told "too bad you just have to wait longer". The customer service people dont seem to care at all about how they treat us paying customers. This was my first purchase and believe me I will never ever order from this website again & I advise anyone else to stay away as well.

After having one experience of very poor customer service at this company, I decided I would never shop there again. This time it got ridiculous. A month ago (at least) I returned an item and asked for the money to be refunded to my credit card. Unfortunately, instead, I got an email stating I had a credit at the site, Beyond the Rack, which sells clothing, and other goods at a discount rate.
TODAY I WANTED TO REDEEM MY CREDIT AND SO I SELECTED AN ITEM THAT COST LESS THAN MY CREDIT. BUT THE WEBSITE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO COMPLETE THE ORDER (EVEN THOUGH NO MONEY WAS DUE) WITHOUT MY PUTTING IN A CREDIT CARD NUMBER. I HAD AN ONLINE CHAT WITH SOMEONE THERE WHO INSISTED THERE WAS NO ALTERNATIVE WAY TO REDEEM MY CREDIT WITHOUT GIVING THEM A CREDIT CARD. I ASKED IF I COULD COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION BY PHONE AND THEY SAID THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE.
I SENT AN EMAIL TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM AMANDA JACQUES, WHO REPLIED THAT SHE COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM. SHE WROTE, "

I've ordered from btr 3 times. The merchandise is decent and you receive what you ordered but often it's one or two months later.in addition, your credit card is charged immediately. It appears that they offer deals from a supplier but they don't actually have the merchandise themselves. Only after they take your money do they get the items from the supplier then they ship it to the customer. It's like they are a 3rd party shipping service. (That's a pretty good hustle, right?) in addition, if you have a problem with an item and you need to return it, you have to pay shipping an handling costs for both the order and the return (And the replacement if you exchange the item) and more likely than not, they don't have the item in stock again so you will have to receive beyond the rack credit. After this happened to me when I ordered a pair of jeans, I used my btr credit to order an item I don't really need or want but I need to use the credit and I plan to remove them from my list of vendors from whom I purchase. I've found that if I try hard enough, I can often find the same item on another site at a comparable price, faster shipping, and better customer service. Well, I ordered the item (A wine set) december 8, it's now january 11 and i'm still waiting for delivery... But they send me a weekly email to let me know they will send my shipment soon. Hmmmm, is a month of waiting worth $9.95 s&h on a $21.00 purchase? No!

Ordered three items from Beyond the Rack (from the same line) on May 2nd. Received a confirmation of purchase email that stated it would take 2-3 weeks to receive my items. I did not realize this when I placed my order, but of course this long shipping time is not something they openly advertise. I decided to wait it out and hope the items actually shipped sooner. I received a tracking number email 1 week after I ordered on May 9th stating one of my items was shipping and that not all items form the same line/sale will arrive at the same time. I received my item, by mail, over a week later on May 16th. In the mean time I had received another email stating the other two items I ordered were still pending. I was unable to find an email address on their website to contact customer service so I called. That was a big mistake. I was just taken around in circles and never got an actual human. I found their Facebook page and attempted to gain an email address through there. I was given [protected]@beyondtherack.com. So I dropped an email there noting my complaints about the long shipping times and inquiring about when my other items would ship, if ever. That email came back returned/undeliverable. Awesome. Tried contacting on Facebook again. My post was deleted and I was never responded to. I noticed a lot of complaint post on their page and one by one they were removed. Funny how they don't want potential customers to know what kind of scam they are running. After googling I was finally able to find a valid email address to complain to. After two days I finally received an email back from a very rude customer service rep. She stated their policy was 2-3 weeks shipping and that I'd receive the rest of my items by June 3rd. A month after I ordered them. I waited a few days and still did not receive a tracking number. By today, May 23, if they did not ship out, I certainly would not have them by June 3 since the first item took so long in shipping transit. I emailed back the customer service rep. demanding to know where my items are. She said they were in their warehouse and that she was repeating what she said before that they'd arrive by June 3. She was again terribly rude. I'm betting they will not arrive nor will I receive a tracking number. If by June 3rd the other two items are not at my door I will be filing a complaint with the Canadian BBB and contacting my bank. DO NOT BUY FROM BEYOND THE RACK! SCAM!
I have again made the mistake of purchasing from BEYOND THE RACK (Canada)! The order said it would ship between July 9 & 16 - on July 27th it still hadn't shipped so I decided to contact them as I was instructed on the site. You see, I hesitate to contact them when there's a delay in shipping because the last time I asked them for an update on an item I ordered that was late shipping, they cancelled my order. Needless to say i venture forth and ask the question. My response came the evening of July 27th when they told me the supplier was unable to fill the order thus resulting in BEYOND THE RACK again cancelling my order and crediting back my method of payment. There was no compensation from them for this inconvenience, as quoted by their Customer Service area, "Situations such as these are rare and we will make every effort to rectify the situation for future orders".
When I logged in the next morning, July 28th, low and behold the item that was unavailable to me on July 27th was back up for sale on July 28th, how does that work? They still haven't credited my method of payment but they are willing to take a second payment from some unsuspecting shopper for the same item.
I emailed BEYOND THE RACK to explain to me why the item wasn't available to send to me but the next day was up on the site available? I sympathize with the next poor shopper that is taken in and willing to part with $300 bucks for 4 or more weeks only to be disappointed. At time of post I still haven't heard back from BEYOND THE RACK... I guess their busy reselling items...
Waited so long for my stuff to arrive that I did not even want it anymore. Seriously, for a company that is "international" and been in business for a while now, they are not doing a good job. I received my items almost a month after I bought them, I almost forgot I even bought them. With so many other online companies that offers a better service, better delivery and better products, I will not be buying from beyond the rack anymore. First and last time.

Hi. I have purchased over a dozen items from beyond the rack. The shipping times are always exceptionally long, I have waited over 8 weeks to receive items in the past, but in the end they have always arrived in perfect condition. I have returned a few items (because of fit, not quality) and was given a credit for the items. If you read their information they tell you that shipping generally takes 6 weeks and that they do not offer cash refunds. If you have a problem with either of these, then I would not recommend that you use BTR. However, I have never had a problem, and have even referred friends to the site (for which you get a $10 credit for each person that purchases something). Keep in mind that they ship from Montreal, Canada, so if you are in the US you could probably expect even longer shipping times (I am in Ontario). Hope this helps.

I love this site never had a problem and the two times I did customer service was great they fully refunded my money and gave me an additional 10:00 credit for the inconvience come on people this is not Bloomingdales this is an inexpensive site for clothing of decent quality if you want perfect good luck finding that anywhere

They do answer e-mails, and give you refund if cannot ship. But they do not notify you about that, and ship often junk you have to return back and loose money on shipping, by the way they claim if you pay your shipping - they will not charge you for shipping label they provide. So I paid my own shipping $10.45, they still CHARGED ME 9.95$ PLUS TAX (Canada), and I had hell time trying to get that charge back, they refused me! Only after I wrote I will post complaints on Interenet everywhere I could find - in places like here- they returned charge for unused shipping label without any excuses or explanations - after that I cancelled my last order (and they returned me only foritems, not for shipping again, the shoipping they never did!), and now I refuse to shop with them again. If you respect yourself, value your time and your good mood - you will not shop with them, their discount 30% is not worth it, after they send you used junk and make you feel like a piece of one! at the end of the day you do not get it cheaper, nor feel yourself a valuable customer of a "closed shopping club"...

scam - no customer service, never refunded
I was excited to see a discount designer website that seemed legit but I guess "too goo to be true" is very true in this case. I ordered very expensive vitamins in September 2010. I sent 9 e-mails to the customer service email and never once got a non-automated response so they never helped me find my order. Delivery was a max of 15 days but I never saw my item until December 2010. When it arrived, all vitamins were expired. I then tried the customer service phone number and after 45 minutes on hold I got through to an actual human being. The were actually very kind and was very apologetic. They actually acted as if it happens all the time. She told me that I would receive a full refund and they would pay for the return shipping. I followed her instructions. It's now been 3 weeks and I have not gotten a phone call, email, or any refund like I was promised. i know paid for items that I returned. Unbelievable.
I saw other sites with the same situations posted all over it. I should have looked before I ordered. Shame on me. Please don't let this happen to you.

It's very sad what happened to this company! I shopped this site happily for many years with no problems. It seems that the issues started just before the ownership changed (last year) and then continued on afterwards. I also never received many items that I paid for, never received any refunds and could never get anyone on the phone! I was shocked at the poor level of customer service and relations. I really hope they rectify this situation. However, until I receive an apology and the money owed to me, they have completely lost my business. Very unfortunate and unfair.

I have been trying to get a refund since January. The email stated that they would be extending a reversal to my original form of payment and now the phone number to the company is no longer in service. WHAT A RIP !
I have done a lot of business with Beyond the Rack in the past and had slow shipping but was satisfied. Now they are not fulfilling my orders and will not give me my money back. They only give credits, then when my order is less than the points so that they do not get any more money, the order will not go through. When you try to call them, you are told that there is a 30 minute wait. E mail is not answered. Right now they owe me over $100, all of it based on orders they did not fill. RUN AWAY FROM THIS SELER FAST.
i was not happy with my 899 gucci bag that my husband agree to get me as a gift. as i return it with the ups form that comes along with the package i sent the bag the same day! its been a month and no refund no bag so i been calling them once a week and get different story.so today i will dispute the charge with my credit card i want to have a place i can shop shop shop but i was wrong!never again
Slow and poor service. Merchandise is mediocre or less. Takes longer to receive than they lead on. Returns take even longer. And get this - NO REFUNDS. I call BS and never buy from this crappy business. BUYER BEWARE!
Stay away from this on-line purchasing company. I have been waiting 7 weeks for my item to be shipped and none of my inquiries have been answered. When you get a good deal, you don't mind waiting a few weeks, but this is absurd! It's not a good deal, it's a rip-off!
My first order was a pair of boot that looked loke they were made of cardboard. I sent them back and received a prompt refund as credit.
I then ordered a watch, lovely and no issue. The same for china platesand 2 handbags.
Then I ordered a number of Burts Bee products. It took a month and a half. Without me complaining, the cmpany realized this was way too long and sent me a $10 gift certificate that expires on 5/31/2015.
Before I received the gift, I ordered a Rampage tote on what they said was grey. I received a soiled Rampage clutch in taupe which I promptly returned. It took 2 weeks but finally I received credit. Today I ordered an Italian tote. However, when I tried the coupon, which I received on 3/2, I was told it had expired. I then used the chat feature to resolve the problem. The associate kept telling me she gave me the credit, would not listen to me when I told her that I she used the wrong email, accused me of changing the email, and said that there was no one in charge at the time. FINALLY, AFTER ALMOST AN HOUR, I was able to get her to listen. I hope the bag is as shown because I believe there is a problem with some of their associates.
I have ordered a lot of clothing and shoes from this company for myself and daughters. I haven't had any of the issues the people on here have expressed. I Have always received my items when promised and as promised. I was even given a credit once when I had not even returned their product yet so I could purchase something else and given a $10 coupon by customer service. They returned my email right away to fix my problem with a return when I ordered the wrong shoe size. I have never ordered a purse so I cannot speak about those, however my expectations and experiences so far with Beyond the Rack have been very positive.
I have been ordering from Beyond the Rack for several months now. I am pretty happy with everything that I have ordered. Some of the items have taken awhile to receive, but if you look at the delivery information and map, it will tell you when the company expects to receive the stock in the warehouse, and when approximately it will ship out to you. So far, I have not been disappointed! The longest I have waited for an item is probably a good month for a pair of heels that I ordered from China, it does take awhile when you receive something made overseas because of customs, and believe it or not, a lot of items still arrive by ship. I was just happy to receive them and I knew I wouldn't need them for several months (I specifically ordered for a wedding two months away.) I have not had to return anything, and have not had any trouble reaching customer service. In fact, I placed a call after seeing something on line, wanting to order it, but they had already closed the sale, the lady I spoke with was very nice, allowed me to order the lamp after it was pulled from the site, and I received it within ten days to two weeks. I was delighted! I hope that you will give them a chance, I have been very happy with my selections. I admit to being a little leery since you can't return anything, I just make sure it is exactly what I want, the size I need, and if I am unsure, I just don't order it.

Beware this discount internet company. First they are based in Canada, not USA if you try to call you either can't get through or you are placed on hold. They bill for merchandise the same day you order but never ship. They do not answer emails either.
I was invited to join the website and on the first day (over a month ago at this point) ordered few items. Then within one week I placed 3 more orders. A month has passed. I was charged. I have not recieved anything. Customer service is saying that USPS cannot find the address that I gave them, but USPS, FEDEX, and UPS deliver to my agency on a regular basis. I was told my orders were re-routed back to them, then sent back to me. Still nothing. This is super frustrating and naturally, I shall not be purchasing from them again.
It really looks like you are getting a great deal on their website... until you compare the prices with your local store! I bought a watch from beyondtherack and paid $30 more than I would have if I bought the exact same watch from Nordstrom's rack.
The quality of the products is not great either! I had a good experience with them initially, I bought a dress that needed just minor tailoring but it was very well made otherwise. So I was excited to buy more stuff from them. Well the quality of all my other purchases didn't match the price tag. I had to return $230 worth of stuff but they DON"T GIVE ANY MONEY BACK, only store credit. I ordered a comforter that turned out to be a joke; the website pictures were so much better! I ordered a couple of dresses that looked horrible up close. So I keep returning the items I buy from them and keep paying for shipping both ways. Today I finally ordered a tie for the remaining balance. Just praying there is nothing wrong with it and I can be done with this company.
Oh and the customer service people are rude! When I said I wouldn't like to buy anything from their website anymore, I'd like to get my money back on my credit card, the lady replied something like, "too bad we don't refund the money. You can only use that money on our site".

wish I had seen this page before I was fooled. I ordered a comforter, dust ruffle and pillow sham set in early February - was supposed to ship late February. Then was supposed to arrive March 12-19. Then no updates at all. Contacted them and they responded via email apologizing and letting me know it would ship end of March. Yesterday I received an email apologizing and indicating further delays due to internal corporate issues. Said merchandise is now shipping, but there are additional delays. Gave me a $10 gift certificate and indicated if the merchandise cannot be obtained, they will give me a credit for my charge of $96.00, towards future purchase. I told them to please just cancel the order and credit the money back to m credit card. No more responses. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute and cancel the charge. It is under investigation. Did not realize it was a Canadian company. Ashamed of myself for not realizing, if it looks too good to be true, it is!

I have made several purchases from Beyond The Rack (BTR) and sadly there were all made within a very short time period, and I am paying dearly for it now.
In my initial shipment from BTR I received a hot pair of shoes, granted they sent me a different style than I ordered but I liked them so I just let it go. Order # 2, I received a nice pair of authentic designer jeans, so I kept ordering. I ordered approx 20 more items (I know.. stupid on my part to order so much, but the first 2 were good so I figured the rest would be too. (Maybe that is how they lure you in, send you a few great things to fool you into thinking they are a reputable company and then Whammo, they send you all crap). Then I received order #3 and it all went down hill from there. Now, 2 months later, because their shipping is snail slow, I'm starting to receive my items and I am horrified at what I have been receiving. So far out of 10 items 1 is suitable, the majority of the merchandise I have received is defective, substandard, low quality clothing, fake jeans that have had they identifying labels and tags removed from so they could be passed of and sold as authentic designer/ brand name merchandise.
After discovering that 2 pairs of of my jeans were fake, I contacted BTR via email, pictures of the jeans attached showing holes in the waistband, and left over thread where the labels had once been attached. I received an immediate reply with an apology stating that my credit card would be refunded withing a couple of days. I was refunded for 1 pair not including shipping...are you kidding me?
BTR, after receiving several justifiable complaints from me regarding their merchandise, all via e-mail with pictures attached, proving my complaints, BTR stopped responding and has refused to communicate with me any further and refund my money for the items. To date I have received refunds for 1 pair of jeans and a store credit for $19.95, what a joke.. I am out close to $1000.00. So, as I said I would... to save all the other shoppers out there from :evil: BTR :evil:, I vowed to share my story with the rest of the world over the internet, thus I am sharing their blatantly dishonest practices with you here.
Overall, I have received over 20 substandard items, 7 pairs of jeans, out of which 3 are defective and 4 pairs have had the labels removed. When it happens once it is a mistake, 4 times is not. Whatever positive review you may read are 1 out of 10, 000 bad ones and many are perhaps written by BTR staff who do not wish to be unemployed should the truth get out!

[*]is substandard because the garment has been mislabeled. It was labeled as a size small but is actually a sz Large. BTR will advertise these items as being the mislabeled size. So you think you are ordering a small and you receive a garment labeled small but it is the large garment that was mislabeled. So, then you try to return it because it is way to big and they will not accept the return. BTR will tell you it is not their fault because it was advertised as a small and you received a garment labeled small, so too bad for you the consumer..

Beyond The Rack sucks! Horrible costumer service, worst I have ever dealt with. Took over a month to ship and they were very rude to me on the phone, I much prefer HomeSav, the costumer service is GREAT and the deal's are much better!

For every unhappy customer, there are actually customers like myself that are in fact pleased with the service. I have ordered items from them, and yes I have had to wait, but to pay a low amount for something that would cost so much specifically Designer Brand Names, I actually don't mind waiting for my item. I didn't understand how the process worked and I too at first had trouble getting through customer service, but then when I did get through, the person that spoke with me was very nice. They let me know that when I order an item, I get the lowest price based on the way they do their business. They went on to explain that an order takes place, my credit card is charged, the event completes, they order from the vendor, and they wait till the vendor sends them the items based on what was ordered. I think the problem I was having with them was me comparing them to other online companies that I do business with, example Amazon, who send out the products right away. Now having been explained how their business works, I now understand why the price can be so low for an amazing bag that a retail store might have charged me. I actually don't mind the wait because I really want that bag I ordered and now I understand that sometimes I wait a many weeks to get my item, and sometimes I don't. I have also returned items to them, and have received a refund. Maybe some of the experiences you had are not the best, but I just wanted to share that I get how it works and for that I make a conscience decision to buy from them so that I can get the lowest price. They do answer e-mails, and give you refund if cannot ship. But they do not notify you about that, and ship often junk you have to return back and loose money on shipping, by the way they claim if you pay your shipping - they will not charge you for shipping label they provide. So I paid my own shipping $10.45, they still CHARGED ME 9.95$ PLUS TAX (Canada), and I had hell time trying to get that charge back, they refused me! Only after I wrote I will post complaints on Interenet everywhere I could find - in places like here- they returned charge for unused shipping label without any excuses or explanations - after that I cancelled my last order (and they returned me only foritems, not for shipping again, the shoipping they never did!), and now I refuse to shop with them again. If you respect yourself, value your time and your good mood - you will not shop with them, their discount 30% is not worth it, after they send you used junk and make you feel like a piece of one! at the end of the day you do not get it cheaper, nor feel yourself a valuable customer of a "closed shopping club"...

Ordered several items and by the time the first one arrived I had already ordered another item. BIG MISTAKE! Quality is not as expected and as noted in other reviews you pay for it up front and then wait a month or two for your order to arrive with no notification that its going to be delayed. When you call all you get is a run around about when it will be shipped. By the time I got may package the event I needed it for was already over. They won't allow you to cancel the order even though it hadn't shipped and I had to go purchase the item I needed elsewhere. Now they won't give me my money back if I return what they sent me, only an in-store credit. The last thing I want is a credit at BTR that I have to use. I will never use this site again and will spread the word to everyone I know not to buy anything from them. A RIP OFF!

I ordered a set of 400TC sheets for $59.99, supposedly a $100 value. When they arrived, I was shocked to see that on the original packaging a "400" sticker had been pasted over the "300TC" label. I sent them back that day, and emailed support asking for an explanation and a full refund. Three weeks later, a $40 credit showed up on my account but I did not receive an email that the product had been received or an explanation. I emailed, they didn't address my actual complaint that I was not sent the product I paid for but instead a poorly doctored inferior product and that I could only get a credit. I've emailed back reiterating and asking for an explanation. It was either incredibly sloppy or blatantly dishonest, but either way, I do not trust this company. I'll update if they ever respond.
