Blair Tech does not honor its warranty.
I purchased a Dell Computer (Optiplex 7050) from Walmart.com acting as agent for Blair Tech (Blair Technologies LLC) ["Blair"] on Black Friday. [There was a substantial Black Friday discount.] The computer was DOA. I requested that Blair Tech honor the warranty that was posted on Walmart.com listing of the item and 'repair or replace' the computer. Blair insists that I 'return' the computer to Walmart.com for a refund. Blair has not stated it openly that they will not 'repair or replace' the computer but they have ignored my request. By ignoring my request, Blair has insinuated it will not honor their warranty, insisting my only choice is to 'return' the computer. Why would I want to lose my Black Friday discount? I have spoken to Walmart.com and they have emailed twice instructions to 'r or r'. Those instructions are being ignored. In fact Blair stated "we are unable to provide an exchange label" for shipping for 'r or r'. From Blair's Warranty and Return Information on their website, "All PCs we sell come with a standard warranty of 1 year for parts and labor from the original shipment date." It also says "Blair Tech's warranty includes Technical Support at no additional charge, guaranteeing that your item will not be Dead On Arrival (DOA). If any issues arise upon receipt, we will work diligently to resolve them. If repair or replacement is necessary, we will address the problem and return the item to you." I have asked for a prepaid return label and a return authorization, which has been ignored. From my point of view, Blair is refusing to honor its warranty. I don't want to lose my Black Friday discount. I don't want to return MY computer for a refund; I want MY computer repaired or replaced as per THEIR WARRANTY. For now I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I am considering writing personal letters to the CEO Andy Blair and the CFO Kurt Reynolds at their homes. I'm sure the live in or near Covington, Kentucky. I am in the process of writing to them at the company address, Blair Technologies Group, LLC, 4314 Boron Drive, Suite D, Covington, KY [protected]
Recommendation: If you purchase a computer from Blair Tech, pray you don't have a warrany claim. They will do everything possible to wizzel out of it. Plan on filing a complaint with the BBB. And even then you may not get satisfation.

Jeff in sales was helpful in configuring my desktop computer. However, a defective Display Port Adapter was sent with the computer that wouldn't work. I requested a replacement Adapter and the support tech agreed. But the support tech sent me a VGA Adapter, the wrong adapter. I contacted the support team again and the man apologized and said he would send out the correct one. Weeks later I received another VGA adapter, the WRONG adapter again. I contacted them again and the tech apologized again and said he would personally send out the correct one. Then the manager of support contacted me and said he had sent me three adapters and asked why would I need three? I told him the whole story and asked him to look at all of the emails and pictures I had sent his support team. He said how do you know the adapter is defective. I explained my deductive reasoning procedure to him. He replied, "Are you sure you don't need a VGA adapter?" It became obvious to me he was jerking me around to get rid of me. Well, it worked! I order a Display Port Adapter from
This company is selling computers that are 10 to 15 years old. They are scammers. I purchased at a well-known online marketplace. They shipped a 12-year-old HP desktop and it crashed as soon as I booted it up. I returned it within a day and they charged me $75 for the return and provided me with an adjusted refund amount. I was not able to get back the original purchase price due to a hidden small print policy. So they sell a low-grade system and you pay for it anyway whether you like it or not. Customer service is a joke and they basically do not stand by their products because when I spoke to them they didn't show any concern and basically laughed at me when I was upset. I only wish I researched them earlier, but I assumed the marketplace would stand behind their customers and they did not either. If you see this company, I urge you to beware. They are using 10-15-year-old computer parts to build their systems. It is a total scam.

Company refused to take responsibility when THEIR employee continuously sent bad replacement batteries
Company refused to take responsibility when THEIR employee continuously sent bad replacement batteries. on the 3 attempt of me trying to get my new battery they said that it was out of warranty and they wouldn't do anything else about it. even though it was their employee that was sending me the battery for my computer. It was their fault for the computer being out of warranty because they told me to wait for my battery.

Ordered computer from Blair with a specific service tag. Had a service technician come out to set up the machine, install programs, and ensure it was operational. A couple of weeks later, the machine would not boot, so I had the service technician come back, and they managed to get the machine working again. However, just two days later, the hard drive failed completely. When I reported this to Blair, they suggested sending a new hard drive for me to install in the machine. This meant that my three service calls, which should have only been one initial setup call, were a waste of money. Upon requesting that Blair cover the technician fees for replacing the hard drive or reimburse me for the fees directly related to their faulty equipment, I received a dismissive reply from their customer service representative. Consequently, I instructed them to take the machine back, but I also requested reimbursement for the two service calls, which amounted to $187.50. These are costs I will have to face again when I purchase a new, functioning computer.
Ordered computer from Blair with issues, service tag and order number omitted
Ordered a computer from Blair and had a technician set it up. Weeks later, it wouldn't boot, requiring another visit. Soon after, the hard drive failed. Blair offered a replacement drive, but I've wasted money on three service calls when one should have sufficed. I asked Blair to cover the tech fees due to their faulty product, but got a snarky response. I decided to return the computer and requested reimbursement for the two additional service calls, totaling $187.50, as I'll face these expenses again with a new purchase.
I ordered a *** for $222.06 on May 31
I ordered a *** for $222.06 on May 31. This order was confirmed by BTG the same day. On June 11, I emailed BTG inquiring when my order would arrive. BTG emailed me back stating my order was cancelled. I did not received any notice that my order was cancelled. I called BTG support on June 12 and was told to reorder the same computer. She assured me that I should not have any problems reordering the same computer. I tried to reorder and was told this laptop is "out of stock". Then, on the same day I emailed BTG sales with a recap of my problems with this order asking for help. No responds back. June 18 I emailed BTG support with another recap of my problems with this order asking to forward my message to another employee that can resolve this issue. I was requesting to "replace the order". On the same day I emailed BTG support back and asked to speak to a manager. No responds back. Finally, on June 23, I ordered a different computer from BTG for $190.35 before tax. It arrived and I had someone set it up for me. However, this computer did not have a webcam so I had to return it. This experience lasted almost a month, the setup on the computer I finally received had to be removed so I could return it to BTG. I was extremely frustrated and will never buy from them or recommend BTG. I finally purchased a computer from another company, however, prices on laptops have gone up, so I did not receive the deal I original had.

I purchased a computer from Blair Technology Group
I purchased a computer from Blair Technology Group. I have the receipt from PayPal showing it was paid on Oct 10th 2019. I have the PC in my possession along with the Power cord, mouse, users guide and a card showing that 100% satisfaction is guaranteed. The problem is I got the PC in October and chose not to install it until we got back home in the spring, (not anticipating any problems. Unfortunately we got quarantined in the *** with no way home till recently. I tried for days to get my new desk top PC started with absolutely no luck at all. I called their number for help and was told they could not find my account of purchase. I HAVE THE PC, so I must have an account. I tried vainly and brought in knowledgeable people who also could not get it activated. Since my last talk with a Blair rep have spent time and money and all I can get for it was a message indicating that I have a external hard drive, which I do not and turn it off. I have tried for the last four days and have not been able to reach a person at Blair and the last time I spoke with one she insist that I do not have an account and that it may be under another name. It is my account with my name on the *** credit card, though we have a joint account with myself and my spouse Hallie. At this point I don't want their PC if this was any indication that their support is likely to be. I paid with a Visa, I received the PC I gave them the transaction ID and the Purchase item # they still insist that I don't exist. Now I am sitting here with a PC that doesn't work and my $219.99 is gone.
